I fancy another quick read but not sure which I'll start next. I have several from our authors to choose from.

I finished reading Bang: Memoirs of a Relationship Assassinlast night, I enjoyed it and found it well written.
This morning I read a short story, Danburgh Castle which was a pleasant read. Now I've started Torbrek ... and the Dragon Variation since Katie has got me in the mood for reading about dragons! This story is written by Lexi Revellian though. I've only just started it but am liking it so far.

Reaper Man was one of my favourites too, Jud. I'm not that great a fan of Terry Pratchett but I did love this one - I loved the way Death spoke in capitals, little Death of Rats, and the little girl who could see through his disguise and called him a "skellington"! Haven't read it for a few years though. Have the paperback in a box somewhere..

Oh yes, and the fact that Death's horse is called Binky!!

Stunning read and I found the end very moving. Gave 5*s over a year agoand would again.

Then I spotted Best Foot Forward by Susie Kelly. This is about her walk across France from La Rochelle to Geneva. Sounds as if it has something in common with my own adventure so I have just started reading it. She seems a little unprepared for the walk but it is well-written and entertaining.
Not sure when it took place but she is talking francs.

As Katie got me interested in dragons I'm now reading Torbrek ... and the Dragon Variation by Lexi Revellian. It's very well written and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! Maybe you could give that a try Emma..?

I am half way through Abide with Me and not enjoying it either. Think I will give up and read something else.

I've now started Yellow Crocus. I'm only at 4% and already hooked.
I've just finished reading Torbrek ... and the Dragon Variation which I really enjoyed and highly recommend. It's very well written, full of surprises and witty.
I'm not sure what to read next, Stella has been raving about I'd Sooner Starve! on facebook, so I'm giving that a go.

Hello G (or C). Thanks for that. I am enjoying it - it is quite droll. I have also heard from Susie and she is reading my book so there is some symmetry here.
