Munich is awesome! I was *almost* going to go there this week. The museums there are super cool.

Anna- sweet! I think we're just landing, making sure our entire groups in one place and then heading to our first stop. I don't remember where it is right now.Hahahah, yeah, but Cali's rather large.
Yeah and there's more culture from the area as opposed to being all touristy.
The thing about tourism is so true. Well, I haven't been there, but in general, out of the places I've gone to, I prefer less tourism. I like to see people in their natural state.

When we go on vacation, we usually stay in a small town near a city. That way, you can still go into the city and do the touristy things that you want, but you don't have to spend the whole time feeling like a tourist, and you can see what life is really like there. I hate feeling like a tourist, but it's better to be aware of the fact that you are one than to be completely oblivious.
I would love to travel just about anywhere, but I don't want to just be a tourist, I want to stay in a place to get the feel for the culture and the way of life. Luckily I have been to quite I few places already:France, Monaco, Germany, Austria, Engalnd, Italy, Czech Republic, Swaziland.
*how do you add a picture?
but I would love to travel more throughout Europe.
There's a link above the comment box that says "some html is ok". If you click on it, it has a template for adding a picture. It's a little complicated.
Actually, not really. You just have to copy the image's URL and then post it in the code. the width and height things are just to enlargen it.
Oops. I wrote complicated, but I meant confusing. Really where it gets confusing is when the image doesn't have a URL, or you can't find it, or the dimensions won't work.
I haven't ever done it.. I don't know how... But I'll try. I can't figure out how... So I'll just copy and paste because I like the picture.
Italy!
Oh... I can't. :(
There are so many places I'd like to go to. But if I have to choose then I would say France, Italy, England, and Japan.
Oooooooooo i want 2 go 2 Great Britan, Greece, Paris, Rome, Mexico, Canada, and Ireland (Yeah I'm a traveler :D)
i <3 british accents! I think british ppl luv american accents! my friend went there and she said everyone luved her voice!
lol! tht sounds very funny! But i'd just want 2 hear u talk! I think it's funny when ppl say "say something!" and u have absolutly no clue wat 2 say!
I love to see how much cultures can differ. Does anyone have any suggestions of good, fairly priced places to visit outside the west coast of the United States?
It depends what you mean by 'fairly priced', traveling is pretty expensive.
Anyway, this time last year I was on a plan destined for Kuala Lumpar, which would then correct me to London. Now I'm stuck at home. Sadness.
On a brighter note, in fifteen days time I'm leaving for Palm Cove, Queensland. Im really excited! We're staying in this enormous resort, and I'll get to visit the Great Barrier Reef :)

Lucky.
Just out of this country. ._. If I could move to the US, I would. I just hate how slow and down to date things are here. Lots of sites you can't use, and it's also harder to buy stuff online.
On this day last year I was in Paris.
I went to the Musee D'Orsayand the Rodin Museum, as well as endless walks around the Seine and Eiffel Tower. I miss it so much :(
In happier news, I am going to Queensland tomorrow morning. We're staying in this five star resort on Palm Cove. Im there for half a week, and will have no internet, so dont miss me to much! I am also swimming in the Great Barrier Reef, you jealous? :)

Hey, I live in Australia as well! Can I ask which state?

My dream is to go to Djibouti, Africa, My friends and I have loved this country since second grade when we found out it was pronounced (ja-bootie) lol. It seems awesome!!!
kyle: sucks that you go back to school so soon. I live in WA (perth, to be precise), and our holidays started saturday, which is why I'm currently enjoying myself in Italy
nope. you should come to WA. I'm heaps lucky this year, cause for the public schools it's 10 weeks, while us private schools finish three weeks earlier (well, roughly)
Dont freak out and stuff, but Im back from my holiday! Palm Cove, Queensland, was amazing. Eight days lazing by the pool at the resort (a casual 5 stars), which was literally right on the beach. I have a fairly severe sub burn now though. My face is raw red, hurts to touch, a rather shiny. Not a good look, Jess.
Anyway, its worth it. I visited the Great Barrier Reef, which was AMAZING. Its the most beautiful thing in the world. Except now I have a long scar on my thigh from where the coral cut me :(
Anyway, that is a beautiful part of the world. I'll see If I can get up some photos.

Jess, that's AWESOME! I'm glad you had a great time. And yeah, what a measly number of stars. 5 stars, pshaw. XD
I don't in particular want to see the entire world as I am not very adventurous but there are a few sights I would like to see for the first time. :)
The Bay of Fundy:

Jackson Hole, WY:

Alaska:

Those are some grand sites I would love to see. I much prefer the beauty of nature rather than the busy-body cities. :)
