What are you reading at the moment?
After it sitting on my shelf for about three years, finally getting around to reading The Book Thief. Very good so far!
Currently reading "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown. Fantastic piece of fiction with a dash of some interesting facts. Good thriller.
Just started reading Girl, Interrupted (Faber and Faber Screenplays) Screenplay based on the book and so far I'm enjoying it very much. It's bit different from the film but just as good.
Finished reading 'Girl, Interrupted' last night. Now reading The Woman in Black - classic horror. So far it's pretty good, I want to finish reading it before I go and see the film in the cinema which comes out here in a few days.
I am currently reading The Quiet Girl. I bought it because I really loved Hoeg's Smilla's Sense of Snow. It's still really good but Smilla was better.
Agness wrote: "Just started reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. Really like it so far and it's not as complicated as I thought it might be."Angles and Demons is a great book! I would like to hear your opinion of it when the last page is turned.
I started on The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf last night. I'm a few chapters into it so far and its a bit of a page turner.
Currently reading:* The Mammoth Hunters by Jean M. Auel for my Goal project for my Critical Thinking Through Literature class.
* Literary Experience by Bruce Beiderwell and Jeffery M. Wheeler (parts of, but not in its entirety)
* Thinking for yourself by Marlys Mayfield (parts of, but not in its entirety)
I'm reading other books for school as well, but one is currently in my bag and I can't remember the title, and the other has a book cover over it so I'm also lazy to check that. lol
I am reading Persuasion by Jane Austen right now! I finished The Help about a month ago, it was absolutely amazing.
Medina wrote: "I'm currently reading "One Day" by David Nicholls. Really liking it so far!"Medina, I loved One Day! Great characters! I hope you'll enjoy it.

I am very much enjoying it! :) Glad to hear that it's a good book!
I'm currently re-reading The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald. I had read it in high school, but I didn't remember too much about it. So far, I find it kind of "meh".
Agness wrote: "Currently reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt - really good so far! wonderful read."I really love "The Secret History". It has such a great atmosphere. I need to re-read it. :-)
I just started re-reading the discworld series and began with "The Colour of Magic". Great, as always!
I'm reading The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales. The TV show Grimm is about start airing in Ireland for the 1st time this week. Since is supposed to be based on storylines from the book, I wanted to read it first before I start watching the series.
I'm reading Emma by Jane Austen.
Gitte wrote: "I just started Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller."Is it good? I've always wanted to read something by Arthur Miller.
Winsome wrote: "Gitte wrote: "I just started Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller."Is it good? I've always wanted to read something by Arthur Miller."
Some of it is very good, but it's quite depressing. Some parts are a bit confusing, but I've a feeling that it'll make more sense later.

So..."
Thanks! Enjoy the rest! :)
Agness, which Murakami book would you definitely recommend? I've read After Dark and couldn't finish his short story collection, The Elephant Vanishes. The one I really liked was only his memoir, What I Talk About When I Talk About Running.
I know I'm not Agness, but my all-time favorite Murakami is "Norwegian Wood". Wonderful atmosphere! I'd really recommend that one. :-)
Oh, I forgot to mention I already read Norwegian Wood, but I didn't like it that much. It wasn't the writing, but some parts of the story were just unconvincing for me. Thanks anyway, though!
The Thirteenth Tale. Turns out, I've read it before...but I don't remember how it ends or if I liked it so I will press on.It's nice to have Goodreads now to track what I've read.

I don't watch TV, so I'm not familiar with the show.
Hope you enjoy the stories.

Of course I'm always looking for a chance to play Nancy Drew. :)
I finished reading Songs Of The Humpback Whale last night and it was awful. Today I've started reading All We Know of Heaven by Jacquelyn Mitchard.
I'm going back and forth reading multiple things. Last night I was reading Love in the Time of Cholera, but I've also been reading Divine Secrets of the YA-YA Sisterhood. This morning I'm feeling like reading Mrs. Dalloway. I have a ton of thesis work to do today, among other things, so I may not get to read for me at all.

I really liked that one! Not as much as I liked the movie, though..."
I'm just about to watch the movie,I was a bit unsure first but everyone says it's such a classic, so I'll give it a go!
