The Host!!! Most definitely!!!
The Host was amazing although i was confused in the beginning at first. I kept thinking that i missed something, but once i realized that i hadn't the book was a very good read and i recommend it to everyone.. I don't believe that you should compare them tho. they are two completely different reads
hahaha everyone loves the Host. And I totally have to agree. It was more well written than Twilight, and I hope I can say the same for the movie! :)
The Host definitely wins for me. Twilight was a mistake.
The host! Twilight has to much romance in it. And I am not a fan of vampires. To much forbidden love. By the way, my sister just told me there would be a movie of The Host! I hope it will come out. I will die for it (; Ian & Wanda. Wootwoot.
I liked both but I found the Host to be better. It was better written and alittle more unique to me. I really enjoyed it.
The Host no doubt. I don't like Twilight and I still find things in Host that makes me want to ask WTF?, but hands down, the Host wins.
I loved Twilight, but I really LOVED The Host.
Twilight!!!!! I tried to read the Host and I couldn't get into it.
The Host was just hard for me to get into. I just didn't understand it. I might read it just because it's going to be a movie.

The Host definitely. Which I have a terrible time recommending to my friends. "Why do you have a Stephanie Meyer book?" they ask. "It's a really good book," I say. "But she wrote Twilight? How can it be any good," they challenge. "No, really. You don't understand. It's really really good...alien worm things in brains and all that." "But there's still a girly romance in it, right?" "Well...yeah...."

The Host! Haven't even read Twilight because it seems too sappy and I LOVE sappy....
The Host is better. Still not one of my faves, but better.
Though I ♥ Twilight, I have a deeper ♥ for THE HOST.
The host, its my favorite book, i love the romance, action, and mystery of what will happen next. Even tho twilight was a great book and has a longer story line, I still prefer the host.I almost didn't red it, because the beginning was a little slow and the first two pages were kinda confusing, and because I was afraid it was going to be too much like twilight. But I am glad i read it.
Twilight. Started reading the Host and I ould not get into it. Maybe I'll try again.
The Host is definitely better. It has a good and steady story and its views on love is not purely on boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, unlike Twilight. Twilight is focused on a whiny and dependent teenage girl, while The Host centers on a woman who can take care of her own family without having to become a shiny disco-vampire.

The Host! So much better. I've actually re-read it about 4 times. SM couldn't kill anyone off of the main characters in the Twilight series which I find is weak writing.I felt for the characters more in the Host unlike in Twilight, Bella annoyed me so much all the way through that I never really invested in them all.
The only thing I wish she had done was talk about the other planets more and the scientifics of the take overs. Also, you never fine out about the Vultures which annoyed me.
The host had to much of everything so i go with the twlight saga!

After reading The Host, I must say The Host. It wins for me because it is...different?
Reading Twilight around 4/5 years ago, yes I would of thought I'd never find any book just as good. But now reading other books I questioned this. It's one of those books you certainly do not re-read!(well that's how I feel) It makes you realise how simple the writing was, even Bella is not as sweet and even unlikeable. It was a good book back in the days and it opened up how do I say A gateway to many more interesting books. It's not that good of a series but was good in my time as a 11/12 year old.The Host, much more detail and much more meaning! It's brilliant. I probably could reread it if I wanted. I prefer the Host now but if you asked me 5 years ago well I would have said Twilight
