I use return address stickers, have books in alphabetical order. buy bookmarks. I also keep index cards in my books for when I last read them.

I've been tempted to put address labels in my books. The only thing really keeping me from doing so is I've got a over 5000 books I'd have to label. :-)

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) I used to love bookplates but they are too pricey and hard to find for all my books, so I bought a few bookstamps from a company called Asspocket productions on Etsy.

Here are the two I bought:

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) I bought this one this year for my best friend Melissa as a birthday gift

Kristy (darkly) | 7 comments I don't know if this is too strange but I carry a book around with me almost all the time. Sometimes I carry one with me even though I know, on some level, that I won't likely be able to read it while out.

Stefanie Farrow I have a lot of unread books. I once made a wall out of them. I also made towers out of them and pretend it's mini New York.

I always have one with me too. Thought the Kindle app on my phone greatly helps with me dragging physical books around all the time. You never know when you may come across a few spare moments to read.

They look great. Thanks
I bought a return address stamp from them.
I'm thinking about a book stamp, but having 6k books, I'm not sure I want to stamp them all.

I do the same thing. I take the bus - so I always take a book along with me just in case I might get a chance to read. If I go somewhere that I have an appointment - I always come early so that I will be able to read before my appointment time.

message 164: by [deleted user] (new)

The appointments dont seem to take as long when you have a book with you.

I never mind if the doctor is late if I have a book.

You certainly beat me on book count. What I did was take down different shelves at a time and put them by me in the chair and stamp while watching tv shows. Im too lazy to sit in there and stamp or do all at once. It took a few weeks and I did it at leisure, but I enjoy dorky activities.

HA! I al ways lose bookmarks so I hardly ever use them. When I do use them, I always use strange objects like pens or photos or business cards. And I only bend the pages if there is something on that page I want to remember, never to mark my place.

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) I bring a book with me on every car trip, regardless if it's only to the corner store!
