We Love Lisa Kleypas discussion

If you have to pick just ONE???
I've only read her Wallflowers so far, but if I were to chose between those, I'll agree with Fani: Devil In Winter!

I have to say that the title always make me chuckle but I have a terrible sense of humour. Great book anyhow.

Probably

Actually, I thought they were kind of similar and Sebastian and Evie were much more opposites. ;) But they sure were made for each other!

Because Nick Gentry is the baddest dude around. He doesn't just need Charlotte for sex. His survival as a man depends on having her in his life. Without her he could very well become a stone cold killer or a man damned beyond redemption. He has to have her!
Or as Howlin Wolf put it, "when you see me runnin, you know my life's at stake."

LOL!! Lisa, in my defense: by God,i did tried hahah!!this is a suicidal question that tears hairs apart, because while i like a book best for plot, i liked another one for the Hero or Heroine..non non.. too much to consider ^_^

Okay, back to my answer I was going to post. Jack Travis in

What if I asked you to choose your favorite RIGHT NOW, because maybe tomorrow it'll be different...
Dreaming of You
This is hard because Lisa is my favorite but Dreaming of You takes the cake. Probably one of my favorite books ever. So amazing.

I think that Dreaming of You has a story that seems to resonate with LK fans.

I'd have to go with

Devil in Winter and Seduce me at Sunrise come in close second. The couples and story are pure delicious magic for me.

And (view spoiler)
Lady D you NEED to read it. Must must must! It's a book that makes you melt all over. For me at least it did. Pure pure magic.
It's funny, LitA is the very first Kleypas book I gave my mom to read. She fell in love with the story (and Christopher Ha!) and has been reading LK books ever since. She's a big fan of LK now.

Danielle, clearly Sebastien and Devil in Winter would be your pick. What's your second pick? Would it be Married By Morning and Leo? You seem to have a thing for those reformed rakes.
Agh, don't make me pick seconds. It would be a really hard toss up between Where Dreams Begin and Mine Till Midnight and Lady Sophia's Lover. I love Cam!

I actually didn't like Leo at first, but he grew on me. I'm thinking he might be in my top 10.
Cam is just wonderful and I definitely love Ross Cannon. I know I'm in the minority, but I don't have that strong an attraction to Where Dreams Begin (probably because of Holly being so in love with her first husband).
My list of LK heroes in order
1. St. Vinnie
2. Simon Hunt
3. Derek Craven
4. Hardy Cates
5. Harry Rutledge
6. Ross Cannon
7. John McKenna
8. Cam Rohan
9. Nick Gentry
10. Leo Hathaway
I sort of guessed on the priority on the last ones since I fixate heavily on the top five. :)

I'm with you, Melody. I wanted to be a vet, too."
Being a vet is like any other career. Goods and bads. I am glad I chose the profession, but there are challenges that vets have to deal with, so it's not as fun as it sounds, honestly.

Yes, only ONE.
My first LK book was Smooth Talking Stranger and after that I've read 17 of her books (new order arrives next week, yay!!!) and I just love her work. But there was something about Ella and Jack... Especially Jack... Sigh...
So I choose
