Emma, I joined a couple months ago before they went live, but I haven't fully checked it out yet. I think it's still a work in progress. Last I checked, some of the links didn't have anything at them. It looks interesting though.

I've been on there since they went live the first of May, and yes, it is a "beta" version, but it definitely works. Loads of articles, campaigns and not least recipes are being posted. They had a few bugs, largely caused by more "traffic" than expected, but I think they're mostly gone by now.

The Market Place is not up and running yet, but it's a fully functional site :)

It's not actually a vegan blog, but I did find a Quinoa Risotto recipe that can be easily veganized (by replacing the parmesan, or omitting it),

I've been using Yummly instead of trying to cruise the web for blogs and figuring out if the recipes are good. I discovered recently that often I'm just looking for flavor combinations that I can throw together with stuff in my veg box or pantry.
