1)Obsidian Butterfly (596 pages)
2)Someone to Watch Over Me (I'm not a big romance fan, let alone historical romance, but everyone keeps telling me to read Kleypas)
3)The Reluctant Miss Van Helsing(on list since I bought it in May of 2009!)
6)The Hunger Games (from Aths' shelf)
Starting The Reluctant Miss Van Helsing now.

The Wolven by Deborah LeBlanc
Black Jack Volume 2 by Osamu Tezuka
Black Jack Volume 3 by Osamu Tezuka

I've read 1 book so far, and I've got another one read about 1/3 of the way. Hopefully as the week continues I'll be able to catch up more!

My totals so far:
4 Books
1206 Pages
Challenges 2, 5, and 7 completed!

i'm feeling soo unproductive compared to some of you...i think i'm def. going to count my schoolwork i'm about to read

I thought it was ok, but wasn't as impressed as everyone else seems to be with it. It did remind me a lot of books like TKaM and 'The Watsons go to Birmingham' (both of which I really liked) but it just didn't grab me.
I also finished my third book in the wee hours of the morning. City of Bones which fulfills mini-challenge #3- it had been on my tbr pile since Feb 2009!

I've completed #1 & #7 in the mini-challenges and have read a total 933 pages

It is set in Greece, so it counts for my mini-challenge #7 (even though my husband picked it and I was going to use it for Loved One's Touch, but then decided to use it for the Globe-trotter instead - he can pick another one for me!). It is for young adults, but there is a lot of humor that adults will pick up on. It deals with mythology and current teens who are descendants of the gods, and is quite interesting.

I just heard that it is called Goliath and will be out in September.

Did you like The Help? I thought it was a great book. It reminded me a lot of To Kill A Mockingbrd.
