I really liked it. I gave it 5 stars. I liked the writing, the use of flashback, the emotion and the character development. I plan to read Where She Went soon. I requested it from the library before I even finished If I Stay. I was that confident I would want to read the next one.

I loved Crank and Glass. I need to read Fallout soon.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I enjoyed Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning . I decided it was best just to finish reading it today rather than deal with the two-books at the same time situation.

Going to start Beauty Queens by Libba Bray tomorrow because it was released on the Kindle on release day & there is no ridiculous waiting period for me YAY.

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Glad you liked it!

click on add book/author.
search for the book.
make sure cover is selected.
You will get:

I am reading The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness .

The code will look like [bookcover :The Knife of Never Letting Go|2118745] without the space after bookcover.

As for Nightshade... I still haven't finished it.

BTW... idk what I think of Knife yet. I may start Sisters Red (Sisters Red, #1) by Jackson Pearce as well since I need to bring it back to the library to pick up more books plus Knife is HUGE!

Well I have to say Heidi that so far I am not a fan. The narrator isn't bad, I just really don't enjoy the experience. I find it really frustrating because it takes at least twice as long to listen to a book as it would for me to read it. I'm trying to stick through this one, but I'm not sure I will try the audiobook again.

message 9110: by Wendy Darling (new)

Wendy Darling (wendydarling) | 193 comments Aw, that's too bad, Brandi! Maybe try it as a book? Sometimes the narrator can ruin the whole experience.

I just read Blood Red Road (Dustlands, #1) by Moira Young , which is really fun. Lots of great action sequences and a butt-kicking heroine.

After reading so many post-apocalyptic books or books that have made me cry recently, I think I need something girly next, though.

The lingo is really hard to adjust to at first as is the duel first persons but I really got into it once I got in the swing of things.

Yeah I was like WTH are they talking about?? Melody was much easier to read and relate to than Harmony. And I did like Zen!

Liz Fichera (lizfichera) Starting ALONG FOR THE RIDE today. Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen

message 9117: by Jaimie (new)

Jaimie (jaimier) | 1275 comments Zen was great! I related better to Melody too but only once I figured out what the hell she was talking about. For the first few chapters I didn't know what was what.

It's been a while since I've read Sarah Dessen. I'm looking forward to this one--and was glad I was able to download it from public library. :-)

Katy Starting Red Glove today! Loved, loved, loved White Cat one of the most fun reads I have read this year!

message 9121: by Arphaxad (new)

Arphaxad | 335 comments I'm about to start Crescendo (Hush, Hush, #2) by Becca Fitzpatrick , very much against my better judgement. But I have no other books on hand right now, and can't get out to the library for the next few days! So I'll just have to hope it's not as bad as I'm expecting.. :)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) I'm reading Scrawl by Mark Shulman right now. So far it is interesting, but not great. I like it mainly because I totally dig epistolary books!

(I looked it up and confirmed it)

Wait?? Why are you expecting it to be bad? I really loved it... I wanted to scream with frustration through most of the book, but it was really good :) Did you not like Hush, Hush?

message 9127: by Arphaxad (new)

Arphaxad | 335 comments Not particularly, I'm afraid. It was a solid 2-star for me, and I only read it because I was in another country with nothing else in English to read (I don't seem to have the best track record with these books)! Ah well. I shall attempt it nonetheless and see how it goes...

message 9129: by Lloyd (new)

Lloyd | 415 comments I'm working on finishing up Young Samurai The Way of the Dragon (Young Samurai, #3) by Chris Bradford - all I can say so far is...intense!

Trying to get myself back down to only reading one or two books (preferably one) at a time.

Aw, I do too! I would pounce upon said box of books and reward you with cake :D

Alas, I'm not a Kindler - yet! I've promised to buy myself one immediately after my last exam (in one week's time) to celebrate. I can't believe how much self-restraint it's requiring not to just order it right now! Argh..

Wendy Darling (wendydarling) | 193 comments CAKE!! I might come over anyway.

A Kindle would be an excellent graduation gift to yourself Arphaxad. :) It's probably one of the best presents I've ever gotten. Let me know if you end up doing it!

Ugh! I knew that would happen. If you are willing to try audio again please check with me first (you too Shannen!!!!) and I will make sure to give you an audiobook recommendation so I know at least it was that you don't like audiobooks in general. I listen to 3 audiobooks at a time and read one book as well so I get plenty of books in even with the audio.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I kept trying audio and finally gave up. My mind wanders. I'm a daydreamer, and need the written word for focus.

Believe me Lloyd, I can't wait to be initiated into the cult er, group :D

@Wendy: You know, I'm feeling so impatient that I think I'll order it sooner - that way it will actually be waiting for me with the porters when I come out of my exam! Perfect :) My older sister and my Dad were both given Kindles as presents this year, and they've been raving about them non-stop, so I've certainly been building up a lot of anticipation!

Yay! I hope you will. You're pretty much finished, anyway. :) Reward for a job well done. However, just be forewarned that the "One-Click" button is mighty dangerous when it's two in the morning and you're in the middle of a series.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I listen to audiobook recommendations! Actually I'm reluctant to get an audiobook without someone recommending it because I hate poor narration.
