LOL. I haven't read this book so I can't really comment on the character....so is this a must read?

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I really really enjoy the audiobooks. So if you do that format at all it's a "must listen"

It makes me lol that THIS is the main complaint of people who read TMI, because that's the thing that made me want to read the series.

Whatever Cassi, you know he's MINE.

Cécilia wrote: "It makes me lol that THIS is the main complaint of people who read TMI, because that's the thing that made me want to read the series. "

Hah hah, that's why you're awesome Cécilia. Although I would have been much more upset by the twist if I'd read them as they were published and had to wait a YEAR between each book to find out whether the awful thing was really true.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments NOPE! My boy!!!

*cuddles her copy of Hex Hall and Demonglass* Don't mess with my true love Wendy!

You know that Mercer would totally kick our butts anyway. *sigh* Besides, I'll take Will Herondale if I could only choose one.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments Well you know...she's all magical and stuff. (view spoiler)

In a fair fight she's rather clumsy.

message 8464: by Kurukka (new)

Kurukka *sigh* Ahh, Wendy, I admit, I was disappointed by the resolution. At first I was like "woh, that's really brave to write that kind of stuff ! Should be interesting" then I was "What ? ... Is it this easy ? MORE CHALLENGE I WANTED!" *yoda-ing*

HAHAHA.

I would let him cry on my shoulder for all the woes of his life. And his tattoo wouldn't bother me one bit.

message 8467: by Dusty (new)

Dusty (zombieprincess80) Just started Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth today, I'm only 10% in so far, I have high expectations for this one, based on all the great review's it has gotten.

message 8468: by Wendy Darling (new)

Wendy Darling (wendydarling) | 193 comments Er--right, back on track! Reviews have been really great for Divergent and Enclave.

I'm reading FEED right now, which is fantastic so far. Post-apocalyptic world, with zombies.

message 8470: by Kurukka (new)

Kurukka I'm as scared of zombies as I am of It's clown. ;_;

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments On second thought Cambria, maybe you need to stay far far away from Hex Hall and leave the cute boy to me. ;-)

I got enough competition with Wendy already

I was JUST thinking that. Pay no attention, Cambria, Hex Hall is not worth your time. *La la la*

message 8473: by Wendy Darling (last edited May 11, 2011 05:46PM) (new)

Wendy Darling (wendydarling) | 193 comments Cécilia, so far the zombies have mostly retained a respectful distance. Although I'm guessing that changes.

message 8474: by Cambria (new)

Cambria (cambria409) | 264 comments LOL. I'm not gonna get between you two ladies and your true love. hahaha. But I am going to read this. I just got a few B&N gift cards and Hex Hall is on my list....;)
Besides....There are plenty of hotties out there...you two go on and duke it out over this cute boy and I'll take one of them. Like....maybe Tucker from Unearthly or Riley from Intertwined. ;) Oh, or Damon from vampire Diaries.....yeah him.
So many boys....so little time.

message 8475: by Wendy Darling (new)

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments Wendy wrote: "Oh god, TUCKER. I loves me some Tucker, too."

See Wendy. Hex Hall boy is soooo not for you. Scurry along after this Tucker fellow.

(We must be in a silly mood tonight)

message 8477: by Cambria (new)

Cambria (cambria409) | 264 comments Now now. You already called dibbs on this cute boy. Why would you want a cute boy when you could have a cowboy like Tucker??? Maybe I'll call dibs on him....lol

message 8478: by Wendy Darling (new)

Wendy Darling (wendydarling) | 193 comments What? This is how I always am.

Cassi! Have you not read Unearthly? It's fantastic. The boy is very, very sweet. And the relationship develops naturally. And oh, um, the angel stuff is really good, too. The descriptions of wings and flying and such are awesome.

Unearthly (Unearthly, #1) by Cynthia Hand

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I'm on my to read list. It's completely out of control though so I don't know when it'll happen.

But I do plan to read it!

wait...I thought it was Cassi that said she loved Tucker too.....Darn, Wendy you haven't called dibbs on anyone....are we gonna have to duke it out over Tucker? LOL. Just kidding!
@Cassi-you should totally read Unearthly-move it up on your list b/c it is that good. I bet you will love Tucker too!

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I have 3 library books right now already (not counting the one I'm reading).

My to read list has taken control and I am afraid for my life/time/soul.

message 8482: by Wendy Darling (last edited May 11, 2011 06:04PM) (new)

Wendy Darling (wendydarling) | 193 comments *sigh* FINE.

Cassi may have Hex Hall boy, Cambria may have Tucker, and I will keep the dashing, tormented Will Herondale in Victorian London. But I think we should just keep them all together somewhere on a pretty boy reservation, where they can all roam freely. That way we can all go visit...and we could add Dimitri and Adrian and others to the collection, too.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments "Pretty Boy reservation"

HAHAHAHAHAHA. BEST IDEA EVER!!!!!!!!!

message 8491: by Sherry (new)

Sherry (sdmccarty) | 4 comments I'm about 60 pages into The Princess Diaries (The Princess Diaries, #1) by Meg Cabot and hate to admit that Mia kinda annoys me...

After that, possibly Everlost (Skinjacker, #1) by Neal Shusterman as far as YA is concerned.

Tucker is pretty great. I actually felt for Christian a bit by the end of the book as well, and I didn't think that would happen, but it was hard not to after seeing why he was acting the way that he did.

I feel the same way... I'm presently undecided between the two and will wait for the next book to see who'll be in the lead.

I just loaned The Betrayal of Maggie Blair by Elizabeth Laird and The Abused Werewolf Rescue Group by Catherine Jinks from the library and hope to get to them this weekend.

message 8497: by Susan (new)

Susan I have the new Sarah Dessen book waiting for me at the library........was it bad??

message 8498: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (peanutty222) | 529 comments Susan wrote: "I have the new Sarah Dessen book waiting for me at the library........was it bad??"

It wasn't bad...I just didn't click with the characters, they were kind of boring. Ususally I feel an emotional connection with her characters but I felt it was a little flat. Maybe because I recently read The Truth about Forever and it's my favorite book of hers....but No, it wasn't bad.

message 8499: by Susan (new)

I really like the Skinjacker series Sherry! Enjoy Everlost. I thought it quite brilliant.
