Great, I've just collected it from the library! :)

Daria (dariadeptula) Just started Ender's Game (Ender's Saga, #1) by Orson Scott Card , and I really don't know why I put off reading it for so long.

Yay! Hope it draws you in as much as it did me, Emily. I just lent my copy to a friend a few minutes ago, with orders to read immediately :D

Holly | 108 comments OMG!!! I cannot believe Demonglass (Hex Hall, #2) by Rachel Hawkins ended like that! Talk about the mother of all cliffhangers, ahhhhhhh! The next book better be released in early 2012!

LOL. I just looked at this book (and Hex Hall) today at B&N. I am assuming this is a must read??

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I loved Leviathan (Leviathan, #1) by Scott Westerfeld , Ender's Game (Ender's Saga, #1) by Orson Scott Card , and Demonglass (Hex Hall, #2) by Rachel Hawkins .

How dare you talk about so many great books when I'm at work and can't comment!

Still plugging along through Ship Breaker (Ship Breaker, #1) by Paolo Bacigalupi . I have a feeling a lot of action is about to go down.

I've said it before and I still stand by it -- LOVE Rick Riordan's stuff!"

Hehe, I know. I hope the series end well, like, with a little surprise ? I like surprises.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I thought the last PJ book was good, but there was something about it that didn't grab me the way books 2 through 4 did. I can't put my finger on it though.

message 8012: by Ali (new)

Ali | 106 comments Lauren - I loved Fallen and Torment despite the negative reviews. Cannot wait for the next book. So many great series that I'm dying to read the sequels too.

Thinking of purchasing the Alanna The First Adventure (Song of the Lioness, #1) by Tamora Pierce due to all the awesome reviews. Perhaps this weekend. Still finishing the The Bronze Horseman (Tatiana and Alexander, #1) by Paullina Simons and still loving it !

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I hear The Bronze Horseman is a must read for any fans of Outlander. I keep meaning to get to it, but never seem to.

Holly | 108 comments @ Cambria- yes hex hall series is a must read! you and i are 89% similar so i'm sure you'll love it too. it had an "evernight" feel to parts of it, but i like hex hall so much more.
@ Ali- do buy the Alanna series, it was a good one!

Ashley Mayer (ashleymayer) | 125 comments I picked up The Twilight Saga The Official Illustrated Guide by Stephenie Meyer and The Lost Saint (The Dark Divine, #2) by Bree Despain today. Not sure which one I will start reading first.

All I know is that I look forward to each new book he does. Can't wait until the next Olympian book later this year!

Meanwhile, I am psyched about The Throne of Fire (Kane Chronicles, #2) by Rick Riordan in just a couple weeks!!!

Lloyd | 415 comments Ali wrote: "Thinking of purchasing the Alanna The First Adventure (Song of the Lioness, #1) by Tamora Pierce due to all the awesome reviews. "

Wow. I just looked her up and have to admit that I am impressed at the overwhelming glowing reviews for ALL of her books. Any particular order these series should be read in? (Looks like I need to do some research!)

message 8019: by Candice (new)

Candice Abraham (candiceabraham) | 10 comments I'm a bit late on the game for this one. But starting The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner tonight!

They are pretty great reads - very quick, good fun, likeable characters :)

I'd definitely start with the Alanna books - Alanna The First Adventure (Song of the Lioness, #1) by Tamora Pierce (her best series, in my opinion!)

As for the rest, we found this link useful over in the Featured Author thread! http://www.fanpop.com/spots/tamora-pi...

Arphaxad | 335 comments Lloyd wrote: "I know I'm not the only one, but this board has made my TBR list just...insane. Especially considering the time I actually have to read. (Years worth of material now)"

So true, Lloyd. I can barely remember how it used to feel when I had to struggle to find good books to read! Now I can hardly get through them all :)

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments My TBR list scares me sometimes.

Starting Ashfall (Ashfall, #1) by Mike Mullin from Netgalley. I went to Yellowstone this summer so it called to me.

message 8024: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) If I think about the list of books waiting for me I tend to get overwhelmed. I just keep plugging away and not thinking about it.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Arphaxad wrote: "I can barely remember how it used to feel when I had to struggle to find good books to read!..."

Every time I see people say that they have no idea how they're going to come up with something to read I think to myself, "How is this possible if you're on Goodreads? Have you not been paying attention?"

I have lists within my lists at this point, lmao. Here's the big list, here's the list of things I really want to read soon, here's the list of new releases, here's the list of gallies, here's the list of books I promised others I'd read...it never ends.

message 8026: by Candice (new)

Candice Abraham (candiceabraham) | 10 comments Catie wrote: "If I can spend the rest of my life reading great books, I don't really care if I get to certain ones or not. I have a tremendous TBR list!"

That's a really good way to look at it, Catie. I'm not the fastest reader and my TBR list (not all of them on Goodreads yet) makes me feel like I'm staring up at Everest sometimes, but when you put it that way it puts it in perspective.

LOL, Stacia. Same here. My tbr list has exploded since joining goodreads, its crazy xD

message 8028: by Peep (Pop! Pop!) (new)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) I'm reading A World Without Heroes (Beyonders, #1) by Brandon Mull right now and it's really good so far. I liked the way it started out. Didn't read the synopsis so I have no idea where it's going, but still good so far!

message 8029: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Catie wrote: "If I can spend the rest of my life reading great books, I don't really care if I get to certain ones or not. I have a tremendous TBR list!"

This is a great way to look at it. And in all honesty I'm not talking about the 200 or so on my TBR. I'm talking about the 90 books I've already paid money for, lol. If I buy it I want to make sure to read it.

message 8030: by Julie (new)

Julie I'm just starting Cryer's Cross by Lisa McMann .

My TBR list is out of control! I've only put a few on here but I have a whole notebook full, haha. I have a bunch of books I've bought that I want to read but I keep requesting books from the library and reading those instead. I think for every book I read I put at least 2 more on my TBR list!

I LOVED Beautiful Creatures! You will love Ethan and Lena. The second book Beautiful Darkness leaves a little to be desired though...

message 8035: by Dr CG (new)

Dr CG (c_graham) | 6 comments I am reading "The Iron Queen" by Julie Kagawa :) I love these books, and I love her style of writing!

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments My TBR list is out of control and I'm glad to know I'm not alone.

Keeping a TBR list on goodreads is so much more practical than in real life. I can shelf it, then check what my friends thing and decide where to prioritize it. Sometimes I can remove a book based off a few friend reviews too. It's such an excellent feature (and really what drew me to goodreads).

WTF Are You Reading? | 64 comments I am reading Soulless on audiobook right now. Loving the 19th century.

The lost saint is a good read. I read the second one in the series a few months ago and it was good too. I haven't read the other one you have here (the guide to Twilight- i think) so I can't tell you how that one is. Maybe you could tell us after you read it!

No sleep for me tonight...I can't stop reading this book. Alexia is tied up right now and her ware-champion is locked in the basement of his house.
