You guys are such fast readers! I swear if I didn't need to rest my eyes (according to my ophthalmologist), I'd read until my eyes fall out lol!
Finished with
, which was ok...can't decide how many stars to give it. It's around the 2.5 mark; if only half stars were allowed! Very light, quick read; fun in some parts, but the protagonist was kind of annoying and extremely girly, which isn't my cup of tea.Now reading
, the second in the series. Will probably save the third for next month, since Scott Westerfeld's one of March's featured authors :)
Just finished reading Allon: Book 1 by Shawn Lamb and really enjoyed it. Now, I'm reading Grip of the Shadow Plague by Brandon Mull.
Still reading
Work has been so hectic I feel like I'm reading so slowly. I just want to be able to relax and pour myself into a good book.
I just finished a ARC of
it was really good I very much enjoyed it I love Alyxandra Harvey's books! Now I am starting
and a ARC of
I have finished Beauty: A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast. Robin McKinley
This book is a true gem, and I would recomend it to anyone, of any age. 4 starsVampire, Interrupted
Besides Thomas who's book I was disappointed with Maguerite was the one other character in Lyndsey Sands Argeneau novels that I most wanted to read about. The best yet 5 starsBloodsucking Fiends
I was disappointed with fool but I thought i would give this book a try and was glad I did. 5 Starsand I have started Wuthering Heights
and Midnight Sun
Finished
and I liked it. It's not Hunger Games or Chaos Walking but I'll read the next one (though probably library or e-book).Not sure what to read next. Probably buy something with kindle because tomorrow is a holiday and I have no intentions of leaving my house (I'm WIPED out from a Girl Scout event I ran this weekend--never felt so tired from something)

Rebecca, I loved Bloodsucking Fiends. I love that whole trilogy. I'd keep going that it. This trilogy and Lamb are my favorite CM books. Also Wuthering Heights is really good. Depressing, but good. I hope you like it.
so I'm finally in the middle of
and I'm really not liking it at all. I don't care about any of the characters and it's just moving sooo slowly. ugh.

I'm reading
as well. Didn't know what to read and I was curious. Halfway through and its good. Better than other books with similar elements (trying to be vague & not spoilery)

Finished
! Late to the party, I know. Fun read; looking forward to the next one :)Now reading
and rereading
while I wait impatiently for
(and the other HPs) to come in at the library!
Not sure how I got myself back in this hole. I WAS trying to get back to reading just one book at a time. However, I now find myself reading
,
and
.

I just finished reading "I Am Number Four." I really enjoyed the book and can't wait for the second in the series!
Heidi I wrote: "I agree with you about HP Lloyd and yay for you reading Jellicoe Road! I just started

Ahh, well it's great to see you back!!!!...
Finished
and loved it. Will start
because it was selected by a book club. Will I be disappointed in the book since I've already watched the movie?
Kayla wrote: "Reading the House of Night. I've read books 1 and 2"Hope you like them as much as i did Kayla. i think the series gets better as it goes along or maybe i just loved how the story developed.

I shake my head in disappointment at all of the Goodreads people who enjoyed it and I scowl at them for leading me to believe that I would enjoy it.

i do like them. I just got over halfway through book 3 and stopped reading it because I had so many other things that I had to do. I didn't pick it back up. But, I'm going to get through the entire series and see how I like it. :) I'm very big on vampires, so it's right up my alley of books.

I'm enjoying what people have to say about Across the Universe. That was kinda high on my TBR list but now it sounds like I can wait to see if the library gets a copy. We'll see.
I started
last night... I'm on chapter 17 (they're really short chapters) but so far I'm enjoying it... Not super fast paced & not causing an obsession like some books (cough... Hunger games...cough) but interesting.

that's how I felt about the beginning of
, Ashley. I hope you enjoy the middle/end more than I did because to me it just kept dragging and the characters got dumber and dumber. :(

Well crap. I hope I do, too. I was really hoping for a good read. Just finished
and it was one of those books I had a hard time getting into. I need something epic!!

Ugh out of all the books I got from the library last week, I didn't finish one of them. I've been in such a reading funk, it sucks. So I returned those. I am now trying to read
which so far is pretty good.
Just finished
and can I just say I was so utterly bored I actually fell asleep reading it. I have never ever done that reading a book before. Wow, first time for everything.

Ugh. I know what you mean. Normally I devour books (seriously, I read way too fast) but lately I just can't get into any of them I try. Sad times. =(
