Twilight got me started too :)
I've got two sugguestions for you, Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead & Night Hundress by Jeaniene Frost. They are both great!!!

So many great books!!

I have my copy of Shadowfever book safely downloaded to my Nook. Now to find an Alien book so I can finish off my challenge reads so that I can get down to re-reading the entire Fever series.

I also would like to re-read Sookie before the new one comes out in May but with my to-read list being so big...I don't know if it's feasible.

I love the idea of the challenges but I don't think I will get that much read in any given month not to mention if I'm doing a series I have to read the whole thing...and can switch between them to get all the requirements:)
up in the right hand corner there are 2 different messages--one says ADD BOOK/AUTHOR and the other (some HTML is ok)
Click on the ADD BOOK one--this will open up a window that will allow you to search for book titles and, on a seperate tab, author's names. Type in the name of your Book. Down at the bottom of the title tab, there are 2 choices--ADD link Cover. If you just want to link the title, then you select that--to show the cover, select that.
It will NOT show up in the message you are typing. You will get the HTML code for it, but when you post it, the appropriate item will show up.

You should so give these a try. I know you like Eric but I think you might like Bones from the night huntress series more.

I will definitely add them to my to-read list...not sure when I'll finally get to them though!

Ok I got it to link the title but I didn't notice the book cover option...let me try it again...
I'm almost done reading

But I am currently reading I Witch on my Nook.

That is what I suggest too.

I'm still debating what to read next after finishing Karen Marie Moning's Shadowfever and Dana Marie Bell's Noble Blood back to back.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

OK so it's not bad enough that I have my nose stuck in my IPad reading at every possible moment, but now I have joined a group to discuss my obsession. :)It wasn't until 2 summers ago that I picked up the first Twilight book and became hooked. Since then it's been all down hill. Due to college, working, three babies, and being married I really haven't read for pleasure since high school. I never knew this genre even existed and now I just can't stop gobbling them up. Some series that are guilty for this addiction I have are Black Dagger Brotherhood, Moning's Darkfever and her other Highlander series, Trueblood, Gabaldon's series, Christine Feehan, and others I just can't remember right now. I am looking forward to meeting new junkies and learning from all of you about some series I may be missing. I am currently reading Darkfever to get ready for Shadowfever. Can't wait to learn what all this site has to offer. Happy reading!

I read my 1st vampire series...a year or two ago...it was Twilight and I didn't think I'd like it but wanted to know what all the fuss was about. I read it and LOVED it!! Since then I have found that I really like the paranormal. After Twilight...I went to Karen Marie Moning's Fever series (can't wait to get my hands on Shadowfever) and then Sookie and just recently read BDB. I just started on the Hollows but so far I'm not all that impressed. Anyway...I saw your group and it looked like a perfect fit for me and my vampire obsession:)
I look forward to getting to know you all.
