What book could you read over and over again?
Its not paranormal but I read Faking It by Jennifer Crusie all the time. I love to re-read The Host and The Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong.
I read the IAD series by Kresley Coleand the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost over and over
I also can't get enough Lover Awakened
and Mercury's War
I could easily re-read most of my favourite series/books by my favourite authors. The problem is that I have way too many unread books on my bookshelf to spend time re-reading books!
I've reread the Fever and Kate Daniels series a billion times. I also reread All the Queen's Men and the Maze.
I would re-read Night Huntress, The Black Dagger Brotherhood and the Georgina Kincaid series. And a few others. Ive already re-read the House of Night series
I've read The Mortal Instruments books four times and have the audio books. But I found a new series in December that I can't get enough of. The Tairen Soul series by C.L. Wilson starting with Lord of the Fading Lands. There are five books and they may be my favorite series that I have ever read. I bought the first one when someone said the love between Rain and Ellysetta was equal to the love between Jamie and Claire. I had to find out if that was true - it is!
The Host! Love it...and just found out that there is a second and third book to follow! Also a big fan of the hunger games, and the Need Series.

But my TBR shelf is out of control. I never had these many books on my list before I joined GR!
Off the top of my head, for PNR I'd have to say Jeaniene Frost's "Night Huntress" series. For UF, Karen Chance's "Cassie Palmer" & "Dorina Basarab" series.
I'm trying to find time to re-read Mercy Thompson, Kate Daniels or the Demonica books. Not having much luck though! Before I expanded out in this genre (Going back about 6 years) I used to re-read my Sookie books (although there was only maybe...4?) And the 1st 10 Anita blake books, especially Obsidian Butterfly - I do love Edward. Since then I've been too busy discovering new worlds and very rarely pick up a series to re-read. Now it's usually a Dark Hunter - maybe Valerius & Tabitha's book if I want something quick and easy or a Stephanie Plum book if I'm honest - I need a Ranger fix every now & then. It also gives me a step away from PNR/UF every now & then.
I would definitely read the VA series again, 'cause finally everything makes sense, and I really love reading Rose and Abe's interactions.Mmmm...probably The Host (yes, the Stephenie Meyer one), simply 'cause it got me thinking about society, bigotry and all that. Very good for my sociological mind. I thnk I may have shed a tear or two :)
The Sookie Stackhouse series. Everyone in this series is hilarious.
Night Huntress. LOVE Cat and Bones <
Lara Adrian's MIdnight Breed series
Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh (and Slave to Sensation...Lucas Hunter and Sascha Duncan had some major chemistry.)
INK EXCHAAANGE! This is my favourite book in the Tattoo Faerie series and I've already re-read 3 times.
Can't think of anymore atm
I will re-read my favorite series from time to time, but there are certain books that I will re-read randomly:Cole's Hunger Like No Other, Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night
Singh's Mine to Possess
Ward's Lover Eternal, Lover Awakened, Story of Son novella
Frost's Halfway to the Grave
Adrian's Midnight Rising
Ione's Desire Unchained
Kenyon's Dance With the Devil, Dream Chaser
Wow, an easy one:BDB series
IAD series
And my fav book of all time Acheron Dark Hunters series but stands alone. Omg, it's my 'if you were stranded on a desert island and could only take one book' pick.
For me re-reading a book even if cannot remember all the details is extremely hard. BUT.... I desire to re-read...My all time favorite books ever- Sookie Stackhouse!!
Stand alone books would be "Dear John" Nicholas Sparks & "The Host" Stephanie Meyer.

WOW! I was going to list the first three of your four and in that order!! I also like Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love's B.A.D. series. Love those guys (even though that series is Romantic Suspense rather than Paranormal Romance)!

I love the OUTLANDER! how are Rain and Ellysetta compare to Jamie and Claire?
For PNR I can't stop re-reading Lover Eternal. Rhage and Mary have such a sweet love story. For other fiction World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War is one of my most favorite books of all time.
Oh wow, that is hard to explain. The Tairen Soul books are fantasy. It is a world with humans, the Fey, and Mage's (they are the evil ones). There is no way to describe how incredible the Fey are in this book. But these books are the story of Rain and Ellie. Rain is beyond my being able to describe, but he is over a thousand years old and King of the Fey - beautiful in the masculine way, magical - you just need to read them! The development of Ellysetta from an ordinary woodcarver's daughter who is claimed by this legendary King who literally swoops down from the sky, is masterfully done by this great author. The love between these two sizzles and is just beautiful. Where Outlander is very graphic, these books are definitely not YA but although graphic the romance is truly magical/beautiful/breathtaking. Gosh, I don't know how else to describe it. You can read my reviews but they don't do justice to the amazing story and romance. Lots of action, intrigue and just plain beauty to the story. They aren't LIKE Outlander, but they rank up there with the quality of the two main characters. Yes, I am raving. I read them in December and am half way through the series again. Five books.Oh, I forgot the Tairen. They are huge winged felines who breathe fire. Rain is the only living Tairen soul and can shape-shift from Fey into a Tairen. Minor detail there. LOL

I can NEVER get tired of any of those books. They are perfect. <3
Thank Terry, so much. I will definitely read them. I do love the romance btwn Jamie and Claire but I also need that fantasy/paranormal side too. It's too wrenching knowing they've died. I'm on the 5th book. Thanks again.
The Tairen soul series has a good ending although I didn't want them to ever end. The author is going to do a spinoff to go on with two other great characters' stories and I will be in line. I love these books so much I just bought the "very hard to find" hardbacks of the first two books and today found one of the fourth book. These will go faster than the Outlander books. The Outlander books are a pretty big project although well worth it.

For a moment there, I was like 'What is she on about?!' but then I realised you meant Jeaniene Frost.

Same here. Tairen Soul is the best fantasy romance I've ever read. The love story is completely comparable to Jamie and Claire's in Outlander because it's so very wonderful, but it's definitely not a historical romance. The books are epic fantasy with a bit of a PNR twist (main character is part fey/part shapeshifter).
I will be re-reading Night Huntress before book 5 comes out next month for sure, and re-reading Mortal Instruments before CoFA comes out in April.
I almost feel guilty that I didn't end up re-reading Fever as intended before Shadowfever came out, but it was either that or reading the Highlander companions and I wanted to get those extra details in.
Hum, I'd have to include a number of non-PNR books in the "re-read" category. Andre Norton's Witch World series (all, um 30 or so books) The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress (first book where I fell in love with a character--and cried my eyes out when he "died". It was Mike the computer.) The Kate Daniels books, Shelly Laurenston's Magnus Pack and her Pride books. The Argeneau Vamps series. The Vegas Vamps series. Victoria Laurie's various series. And, well, there's probably another 2 or 3 dozen books that I would love to re-read. But I need to get some of my TBR pile down.
Twilight series, Sookie Series and BDB....but like one of the previous posters have said...I have too many books on my to read list to allow me time to re-read more than I already have...

OH girl, I can only re-read the second half of Archeron's book. I love him too much and the beginning is so painful!
If I may jump into your discussion...If I were to grab a book to reread, it would either be
or
Then I would go on to reread the entire series. In fact, I just might do that... :)
I read the Anita Blake series from start to end several times a year.I've read BDB series four or five times.
I've read Twilight series four or five times (including Midnight Sun).
I've read the Dark series by Christine Feehan twice, but I doubt I'll ever do that again.
I've read Southern Vampires (Sookie Stackhouse) four or five times.
I reread Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series over and over throughout the years.
I reread Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein quite often over many years, several others of his - most of them having to do with Lazarus Long.
I reread Spider Robinson's Callahan's Crosstime Saloon books on occasion.
Sometimes I reread various poetry by Rumi.
I've read some Jane Austen several times, as well as Shakespeare (Taming of the Shrew, Romeo & Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing).
I'm sure there's others that have slipped my mind.
I don't generally re-read books or even re-watch movies. I always prefer to move onto something new instead of reading or watching something I already know what's going to happen or how it ends. But, I have to say that the Outlander series will be on my shelf forever and I will re-read it multiple times during my life. I can't help it. Jamie and Claire undo me. As far as the Tairen Soul series....it is fantasy with an epic love story. Rain and Elly are up there on the best couples ever list!
Harry Potter by JK Rowling ofcourseFever Series by Karen Marie Moning
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
I have re-read the sookie stackhouse series three times and tue twilight saga twice. I finished Shadowfever last night and am considerimg reading it again since it was so good!
I am a re reader. If a series has a new book being released then I will re read that series before reading the new release. I know ......crazy. LOL
That's not crazy. I re-read a series before starting the newest one. At the very least I re-read the one before it. Or maybe we are both crazy. LOL
Most of my re-reads aren't in the PNR category, but I would read Harry Potter over and over again, all the books, in order (though the third one is by far my favorite). I would read Twilight sparingly, it gets more annoying the more I read it.
- awesome non-fiction book, and I love the writing, it's been 10 years since I read it so I probably will again soon.
- This story is so beautiful, and a very fast read, I think every little girl should read this book but it's also good for adults.
- I love this story, but every time I read it I always forget what it's about, so each time I read it is like the first time. So it never gets old for me. I've already read it 3 times and couldn't tell you that much about it. I don't seem to have that with other books, not sure why this one refuses to be remembered.
- My mom gave me this book to read and I loved it. It's a Historical Romance, and I love the characters and would love reading about them again.I know that's kind of a long list of non-PNR but all books that I love. As I read more PNR I'm sure I will find more series that I would love to read again and again. Always looking for recommendations =)

Oh and I forgot, I will probably re-read Vampire Diaries after a few more come out, the first 3 were okay but after that they went way down hill. However I'd like to see what happens, and since it's been a long time I would start from the beginning before reading future editions. Also from watching the show I tend to forget the differences in the books, so I would definitely have to re-read just to know what's going on.
