Ditto what messenger 42 - JD, said, including about movies. Still, I plan to reread Justina Robson's Quantum Gravity series again, bec I found the last books confusing; same with Amy Lane's Little Goddess series except it's the first book I need to review plus I love the characters' relationships. I read LKH's Anita Blake first 12 books twice. And to be honest, I will read any book's hot sex scenes several times over the years!

Usually I get a book I like as an Audiobook and listen to it again in an audio version. So: - I listened to the 4 Twilight books for a year on a loop. It was probably about 7-8 times (yeh, I am crazy, I know)
- I am now on the 4th loop of Mortal Instruments books. As enjoyable as the first time.
- Vampire academy twice
It's the Outlander series for me, hands down! In fact, I'm re-reading Fiery Cross right now :)I added the first Tairen Soul book to my TBR--thanks to those who mentioned the series!
Really good is putting it mildly. But then I have been raving about these books for a month and can't help myself. I read a lot of really good books, but this one set a really high bar for "great".
There are several series that I have re-read and would again and again...Mortal Instruments
Night Huntress
Dark-Hunters
Black Dagger Brotherhood

LOL"LOL i'm also a re reader! I am currently re reading the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning, on DreamFever now, even though I should be reading ShadowFever I won't be able to purchase it until next weekend :'(. When Harry Potter part 1 was coming out, before that i read the whole series. So yes I am crazy as well LOL
Jennifer wrote: "I re-read all of the Harry Potter books before going to see 7.1 this summer"I did too! Even though I tried not to read too closely to the release date so when the movie did come out I wouldn't be screaming at the screen, pissed by how many scenes they left out you knw?

I should try that, I think that's why movies are always ruined for me, because they leave so much out and they are never as good as the book!
Pansy wrote: "I was reading the discussion earlier about Tairen Soul and I also added it. It seems really good."Tairen Sould will be my next read after Outlander...that's on going along with latest books coming out on several of my outstanding series. I'm waiting for Archangel Consort and This Side of the Grave (Night Hutnress). I'll keep you posted so we can read it together.
Oh nice. Can't wait to see what people think of TS. :) It really is a great love story that doesn't skimp on the action/fantasy aspect.
I Can and do reread the In Death series, Dark-Hunter series and the Black Dagger Brotherhood series at least every two years.
I can read the Twilight Series over and over and not get tired of it. Also the werecat series from Rachel Vincent.
I can read Sookie Stackhouse Series, Twilight Series and BDB Books over and oever... love them, love vampires & werewolves and shifters...
Not exactly paranormal (at all!), but I re-read the In-death series, anything by Jayne Ann Krentz in all of her personas.
I often reread favorite books. I always include Jayne Anne Krentz/Amanda Quick/Jayne Castle in my reread list. I've reread
, and
by Nora Roberts, and
and
by Linda Howard many times.

your not crazy!!! i do the exact same thing....and funny with the exact same series! twilight about 10 for me VA twice and i just added mortal instruments and listened to them once so far and ready to hit repeat o that one because book 4 comes out next month!
I could read Lover Awakened over and over again. I think I've read it at least 10 times. I'm not a huge fan of the series like I once was, but there is just something about Zsadist. If I had the time, I think I'd read it at least once a month.
It's not paranormal and not strictly a romance, but Dorothy Dunnett's Lymond series is incredibly good. I could read them a dozen times and pick up something new each time.
Rayna, what do you know, I can't get enough of Rhev either. He's my favorite of the BDB...IF I really really can only pick one. I've read LA 3x, but the 3rd time, I skipped to Rhev and Ehlena. It's called focus reading.
It's not PNR but I read any of Judith McNaught's books again and again. As a matter of fact I have...lol

Now that I have read Vampire Academy I can definitely read 2-6 over and over again, in addition to Night Huntress and Dark Hunter series!! Oh and BDB!!
HUNGER GAMESThe Hunger GamesTHE MORTAL INSTRUMENTSCity of Bones
The Summer I Turned PrettyThe Summer I Turned Pretty
I have read all four Twilight books over and over. I've also reread the Mortal Instraments, Georgina Kinkaid series, and Amanda Hockings Trylle Trilogy and the My Blood Approves series. I get a little annoyed when I can't find good books, so I go back to the one's that I love.

I have come to appreciate them as their own entities. It makes it more enjoyable for me. Not that it's easy, but I try, lol
Love Night Huntress too and can totally read that series over again...once I can find the time. I'm very very frugal, we just moved and just got rid of tons of books, so collecting books is not high on my list. These are the only sets I owned, can you believe it?Twilight Saga
BDB set
Sookie set (only read book 1, wonder why????)
I'm thinking of getting these:
Mortal Instruments
Night Huntress
Guild Hunter
Outlander
Archeron
Loving lots and lots of series but these are the ones, so far, I would read again bc of the intriguing storylines, fun-strong-smart&sexy characters, humor and of course the passion & heartwrenching plots.
@ Crazy for more... Is the Night HUntress series by Jeannine Frost? I have been thinking about reading those books. How good are they?
Jeanine wrote: "@ Crazy for more... Is the Night HUntress series by Jeannine Frost? I have been thinking about reading those books. How good are they?"Yes and YES!!! They are the BEST series!!
Jeanine wrote: "@ Crazy for more... Is the Night HUntress series by Jeannine Frost? I have been thinking about reading those books. How good are they?"Yes, NH is by Jeaniene Frost. Hmmm, how good is it? let's put it this way, I didn't think anything can beat BDB series. NH is in the running with BDB bc it's so fun to read and the plots are to die for. That being said, BDB is still holding its 1st or barely 2nd bc of its volume, depths, passion and unique storyline in each book. So I would said in term of fun & exciting plots, NH is #1 and in term of intrigue & passionate plots, BDB is #1. Both has some of the best characterization!
The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are books ive read a few times. Books that i absolutly loved and that i will re read are Son of Ereubus: Guardians of Legend, Book One, The Hunger Games,Blood Promise and Crescendo
I can go back and read any and all of Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson Series. I just love the stories and characters and each book.
Melissa and Crazy4More, thanks for the response. So, when you guys say the Night Huntress Series is tied with BDB, are you talking Black Dagger Brotherhood? If so, that's pretty impresive. I'm definitely going to start reading the series now.
Jeanine wrote: "Melissa and Crazy4More, thanks for the response. So, when you guys say the Night Huntress Series is tied with BDB, are you talking Black Dagger Brotherhood? I can read NH over and over as well as:The Mortal Instruments
Sookie Stackhouse
Dark-Hunter
The VA
And now that I've read The Fever series...I know I can read it over and over! Barrons **sigh**
Black Dagger Brotherhood is the only series that I haven"t fallen out of from it being too long and consisiting of way too many books. I love it!!!
Jeanine wrote: "Melissa and Crazy4More, thanks for the response. So, when you guys say the Night Huntress Series is tied with BDB, are you talking Black Dagger Brotherhood? But then again, when you hear so much about it and how great it is measured against...sometimes it just doesn't measure up. I tried to compare it in different facets, bottom line both are great reads, neck-to-neck, IMO.
I wouldn't say it's paranormal romance, but the Sevenwaters trilogy by Juliet Marillier. In the PR genre, the Sookie Stackhouse books. And as a single books, the Mists of Avalon.
Jennifer wrote: "I re-read all of the Harry Potter books before going to see 7.1 this summer"Count me as a Harry Potter re-reader. They're just so delicious, and I catch some new subtlety every time I go back to them.
On the haven't re-read yet, but sure I'm going to list - Georgia Evans's Bloody series: Bloody Good, Bloody Awful, Bloody Right (Nazi vampires invade an English coastal village) Total fun.
I tend to re-read things very much but if I had to pick a series to reread, the following would be candidates I would really enjoy reading through again. I have too many new series to read to actually read stuff I have already been through.Immortals After Dark
Atlantis series by Gena Showalter
Demonica series
I've read the twilight series a couple of times and for sure I could prob read the Black Dagger Brotherhood books by JR Ward more than once too! I also love love love the Hunger Games series and will for sure be reading them again!
I love Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series, especially the books with Elena and Clay. I've re-read Bitten several times. Love it. I also have re-read JFrost's first Nighthuntress book. And, I love Keri Arthur's Riley Jenson series. I don't think there is a bad book in the series.
Mary: I re-read Bitten all the time too! :) It's probably my favorite UF book of all time, I mark all my favorite parts and just skim through them all the time. I just got the new edition (with the new cover) so I have 2 copies of it (in case my original copy falls apart from all the re-reading, which it probably will, lol) :)Other books I re-read a lot are the Vampire Academy series and the Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead, the Kitty Norville series by Carrie Vaughn, and the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs.
