I'm going to write a full review of it tomorrow but if I had to briefly describe it I'd say slow moving, well written, strong ending.

Finally read a book! :) It's been a struggle to get motivated enough to open one, which makes me sad, but hopefully I'm better now. Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves
First R, GR Author, Kellee's challenge (I'm assuming this is subjective...) Genre points for Fantasy/Supernatural.
Favorite funny part- Kind of a spoiler, so I'll be annoyingly vague. But, the 2 MCs are the daughters of a serial killer. Someone makes a deal with them, and they use the vagueness of the wording to make it work how they want it to. Very indignant, the character (a bad guy) says something to the effect of HEY! That isn't how this was supposed to work! And Fancy says, I'm the Bonesaw Killer's daughter. How did you think this was going to work?
It's a lot funnier in context, promise. But this whole book is morbidly funny, which probably reflects on me... Hehehe...

Alright, I've got some issues with just really Lydia's points, you added 10 randomly.. unless I missed something and then 2 points each for second books read - one of the Rick Riordan, and you had a second V book that I'm not sure you realized. (but please, double check and let me know..)Oh and Cheryl, Cynthia Leitich Smith would be under the letter S.
Okay.. Leaderboard time!

Just checking in case I missed something, because I haven't been on GR much lately...
Thanks!
Amy wrote: "Sorry. I thought it was said a few posts ago if the author has two names, we go by the first one."I thought I'd read that too. It'd make sense IMO if we went by whatever GR uses as the last name.

Official rules said 3 points per additional books for each letter.
Wait, now I'm confused. Like Cinda Williams Chima would be C for Chima, right? Not W for Williams?
Elle wrote: "Wait, now I'm confused. Like Cinda Williams Chima would be C for Chima, right? Not W for Williams?"It's up to Kristen! I'm just stating what she'd said in message #7 of the tasks and discussion topic. Wait for Kristen to give a response before you change your gameplan!

Sorry, I was.. writing it the wrong way.. I meant she had added two extra points per book.. cause it's three and she was claiming five.. I know.. only makes sense in my head now that I think about it! lol. :)As for last names, I was going by what goodreads lists as the last name. That's also how you'd find it in the bookstore and library.. is that okay with everyone? (I did say the first one in the discussion, but methinks it will be easier to do it library/bookstore style).
I have been going by what GoodReads uses as the last name which seems to make the most sense. But that is me.
I'll go with whatever is easiest. Just need to know which way we're doing this so I can either mark L or S on sheet. Kristen? Also, are the ALA lists awards or just a top ten list? The book I read was an ALA top ten.

I wasn't sure, that's why I was asking. If top tens aren't awards, then I get five points for the book.Still confused as to the other book: L or S? How do I find out how goodreads classifies the author?

If I have a book in my read or to read pile and order it by author it will immediately show me if it did it by which name.

Welcome Mandy to the challenge! :) And wow, I need to get on here more to update, you all are crazy readers so far!Jenn, Disney after Dark won an award, so I'm adding 5 points to your score.
AngelaSunshine - I actually got 240 for the page count of A Deadly Game of Magic.. which I double checked twice, so adjust your spreadsheet accordingly.
Karis - A Tale Dark and Grimm and Zombies v. Unicorns were both lists, not awards.
Beth - Wake was a top ten book, so we're not counting that as an award, I'm surprised Wake hasn't yet won an actual award - I looked but didn't see anything besides lists and nominations.
I think that's it... if something changed for you let me know and I'll see why or if I miscalculated, etc. :)
