Ally I just finished Shadow and Bone (The Grisha Trilogy, #1) by Leigh Bardugo a few minutes ago. SUCH a good book! Now I have to decide what to read next and hope that it doesn't pale in comparison to such an amazing book *__*

I started that book, but didn't finish it. I had borrowed it and didn't have enough time. But what I read seemed really interesting and very original in concept.

You should check out The Moon Dwellers (The Dwellers, #1) by David Estes It just came out and its written by a member of our group here so it's kinda special. Plus it sounds amazing. I just downloaded it on kindle and it's only $2.99. (Shout out to David!) I'm gonna embarrass him, but that's okay :)

Ally Bethany wrote: "I started that book, but didn't finish it. I had borrowed it and didn't have enough time. But what I read seemed really interesting and very original in concept."

Oh, really? That's such a shame. The second half of the book is where the story really picks up pace and sheds light on the confusing minutia of the first. You should try to finish it some time!

And I'd be happy to support a member of the group! I'll definitely add it to my list and give it a go, the concept is really cool!

Danielle (meimei42) On deck I have:

Once (Eve, #2) by Anna Carey
City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5) by Cassandra Clare
Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2) by Richelle Mead
My Soul to Save (Soul Screamers, #2) by Rachel Vincent

All books in which I have started the series. I don't know which to read though. It has been almost a year since I read The Mortal Instruments. I don't even remember what is even happening.

Eve was okay as a book, not sure if I will love Once.

Frostbite...eh, not sure how I feel about Vampire Academy. I didn't really like Dimetri, though Rose is okay.

My Soul to Save...Not sure I love the series yes. Maybe book two will be awesome.

YOU DIDN'T LIKE DIMITRI!?!? how is that possible. craziness...

Frostbite was probably my least favorite of the 6 books, but it was still good. And that series gets so good, it's not even funny. You should really keep reading. A LOT happens. You might change your mind about Mr. Belikov :)

I just finished City of Lost Souls...like an hour ago. And I'm reeling. It blew my pants off. It was awesome, but heartwrenching at the same time.

I agree about Eve. I liked it as a book, but don't know if I loved it enough to continue the series.

Amanda (amonika) Bethany wrote: "YOU DIDN'T LIKE DIMITRI!?!? how is that possible. craziness...

lol - that seems a bit crazy to me as well. I read the Vampire Academy series right after Twilight though and Dimitri was a much better hero for me than Edward. Anyway, keep with it, I think Dimitri gets better as the series advances.

I'm reading Song to Wake to by J.D. Field that is supposed to be a YA King Aurthur type of book. I'm about half way into it and so far it is OK. I'm actually still waiting for the big reveal that tells me exactly what is going on with the story. Right now it is just a YA Romance about a girl meeting a boy.
