Chattykat here... this looks like a fun group to be a part of... especially since paranormal is my favorite genre! I will read any genre if it holds my interest, however. I have many favorite authors and I'm always looking for suggestions. My newest discovery is J.T. Geissinger's Night Prowler series. Hoping this group will lead me to something I haven't discovered yet. Looking forward to joining in on the fun!

Hi, Everyone!I'm Marcia, from Florida, and while I read just about every genre, I'm currently enjoying the wild popularity of Urban Fantasy everywhere. I've been reading for over 60 years, so spooky stuff isn't new to me, but this is the first time in my life when it has been so popular. I was weaned on Poe and Lovecraft, and it was lean pickings for a long time. So glad that I can get my vampity fix now whenever I want. I still leave room for other genres, of course, but The Dresden Files, Toby Daye, Rachel Morgan, The Weather Wardens, Jane Yellowrock, and so many more are filling my bookshelves now. Can't wait to get to know more of you. Thanks for letting me join the group.
Welcome Marcia! We're very pleased you found us ;) I totally agree about the scarcity of UF until say the last 10-15 years. My hubby keeps calling it a fad, and says what am I gonna do when the trend is over. LOL.
