EEEK! I just read my own review and...oooh.. the Typoes... the Humanity!.... (there will be revisions!)
I am currently readingHarry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Next up will be The Truth About Forever :)
Ok, I finally caved in and bought a copy of The Hunger Games (it was only £4 in the supermarket and I have trouble saying no to bargains. Wanted a nice easy read to chill out with and actually surprised myself by really enjoying it! I wouldn't say its the best thing I've ever read but I did get sucked into the story and I definately want to find out what happens next, although the unromantic anarchist in me has to admit that I'm more interested in finding out if Katniss's act of defiance starts something moving against the Capitol than in how the love story pans out.
I am just finished 'Before I go to sleep' and loved it was amazing but now I can not decide what to read next :'( suggestions welcome!
Desperation and the love of a challenge has driven me to re-read 'Finnegans Wake' by James Joyce. My new blog post discusses neologisms, of which he was a master. I expect my own writing to be absolute gibberish for a few weeks, as a result.

I am, but those two books are from my schools library, so I need to finish them before continuing to re-read the series! :)
I am currently reading One Corpse Too Many by Ellis Peters. The Second Chronicle of Brother Cadfael. A fun medieval mystery series.
Adriana wrote: "I am currently readingHarry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Next up will be The Truth About Forever :)"Loved HP! And I am not even a fantasy reader.
Rachel wrote: "I am just finished 'Before I go to sleep' and loved it was amazing but now I can not decide what to read next :'( suggestions welcome!"My suggestions would be:
The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón
The Kite Runner
The Green Mile by Stephen King
The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
Here on Earth by Alice Hoffman
Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers

I taugfht with frank McCourt when I was a first year teacher in new York City. he used to regale us with his Irish tales and we would tell him to write a book. I later told him about this when I saw him again at a book signing.
I'm about to begin the new book by Anna Quindlen, Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake. I am also listening to a book I read 20 years ago, The Gold Coast by Nelson DeMille. And finally I'm about to read a book on my I PAD, The Good Father by Diane Chamberlain which was just published. I have read this author for the past 20 years and I have never read a book of hers I didn't love.

I'm reading:
: Or, well, was reading it, then stopped. I'll have to pick it up again.
: I read the first book at the urging of my cousin, then found I couldn't put it down. The romance didn't really interest me, but the survival aspect did. I don't even think I could put this in the same catergory as the Twilight series; while it is a bit over-boasted to a point and fan-ridden to heck, it was still a rather enjoyable read.
[bookcover:No Return: A Contemporary Phantom Tale]: This is the one I'm currently on, and I have some mixed feelings for it. While it doesn't exactly given off that fanfiction feel, with an enjoyable consistency, I still find myself irritated with this modern "Phantom", and rooting for him at the same time. Still, it is pretty good.

Every now and then you come across a book that you've seen a million times and thought "hmm, maybe I should read that" but never get to it. This is one of them. Why? I don't know, but I am glad I picked it up. :)

It's a pity that McCourt died recently but he had more than achieved his dream of becoming well known as a writer. In addition to teaching thousands of students about the beauty of reading and writing as a high school English teacher.
I'm currently reading Anna Quindlen's new book, Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake: A Memoir, listening to The Gold Coast by Nelson DeMille and reading from my I PAD, The good Father, a new book by one of my very fave writers, Diane Chmaberlain.
I just finished Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin I enjoyed this one, even though I generally stay away from Chick Lit. I read it because I liked the movie. I gave it 3 stars.

I'm reading Dear John by Nicholas Sparks....it's just ok. I really loved The Lucky One though, and thought I might get back to back winners...but TLO is definitely the superior story!

lol I wanna slap someone's face each time they ask me "what is it about?" when a book like Game of thrones is in question but nevermind :D... I would say in a lighter tone - nobility, its families and their power struggles, how it all affects the common ppl, then some underlying threats... power games, evil things, conspiracies... well it is very gritty I would say
I am reading
and it is really awesome :P

Have you finished Frankenstein yet? I wa..."
I am almost done with Frankenstein :). I wouldn't say I am a huge fan but I can understand why it is so popular too. There were some parts where I was kind of struggling to get through but I'm towards the end now and I'm beginning to like it a bit more. I definatly have an appreciation for Mary Shelley though. It is amazing to think she was the same age as me when she wrote this.
Also, I've stopped reading Cold Mountain but I am reading Cloud Atlas now. I'm only in the second part of the book (Letters From Zedelghem) but I am really enjoying it :)
