I try to read books from the library whenever possible, since my book collection has gotten rather large, but...I found and at my local HPB store and
was $4.98 at Sam's Club.
I am trying to be good, but they've been on my "wish list" forever.

I've been trying to lay off buying recently since I have a reading challenge that involves my library. But....I've found some pretty good deals in the past few weeks and couldn't resist. Plus if I can't find a certain book in the library, I go shopping :P....

Nice haul, Melody :) I really want to read the Sentinel Wars - I read the first in the series, but from then until I bought the others, I've forgotten it! So as soon as I have a free weekend, that's what I'll be doing :) And Acheron is great - long, but great, especially the second half! Enjoy!

Thanks! I just started getting back into the Sentinal Wars. I'm only continuing for 2 pairings right now. lol I actually scored Acheron at Goodwill, it was a hardcover I immediately grabbed it. lol I haven't really read much of the Dark-Hunter series, I've only read 2 other books but he stood out big time.

I loved the first dozen in the DH series, but it got a little complex after Acheron, lol :) Which doesn't mean I'm gonna stop reading the series, lol (clearly!):

Styxx is the other book I want to read Melanie. Haven't really 'met' the character yet though. Just heard about him. ...and a 'little' complex?? I read Book 5 and I was completely LOST. I know my fault for not starting from the beginning but the world building and ensemble cast is so dense and confusing. I'm still kinda lost with all the different demon races and terminology. She needs a glossary. I'm scared to know how much more complex...

I'm insane. I really am. That or I have a serious book hoarding problem. This past year I've been slowly going through the piles of unread books I bought/freebies only to keep getting more.

These technically weren't purchases since I got them off the 'free book' carts at my library, but I ended up grabbing quite a few so I thought I'd share my finds. They kept putting out a lot yesterday so I couldn't resist.

I would lose the Sparks books. The Best of Me wrecked me - so depressing. The Last Song not much better.
