Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 3737 comments I could see how Devil in Winter could make you a LK fan, Sydnee. It's my favorite by her as well!

Priscilla (Priscilly29) | 1 comments I'm in the middle of Smooth Talking Stranger and am totally engrossed! I love Jack Travis' character being the sexy Alpha Male that he is. And I totally connected with Ella's character - smart, feisty yet vulnerable. I can't wait to read Sugar Daddy & Blue Eyed Devil!

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 4782 comments I ♥ Jack Travis. He's my fav, even though I love historicals. I figure, we'll take a time machine back a century.

tytti | 58 comments Jack Travis is my favourite too =)

Ellie | 4 comments Devil In Winter! - Immediate LK fan :)

message 106: by Gwen (new)

Gwen (gwenk) | 89 comments Dreaming of You was my first LK read. I found a recommendation about it on a Blog. I was totally hooked.

I haven't read all of her books yet ... but I will. LOL! Right now I'm reading The Hathaways and Kev Merripen is the man of the hour for me. He's dark, brooding and when he loves, it's forever. Love those kind of heroes! :)

Marilyn (mbk1857) I think Dreaming of You was my first read by Kleypas. From the very first paragraph I was lost in that world of Sara and Derek Craven. I know this book was my favorite.

message 108: by chillygarlic (new)

chillygarlic My first was Again The Magic (Wallflowers, #0.5) by Lisa Kleypas
After I read it LK was the author I looked up to.

S (booksstarsmoon) | 250 comments My first was Devil in Winter (Wallflowers, #3) by Lisa Kleypas but I didn't get hooked on LK until my next one Secrets of a Summer Night (Wallflowers, #1) by Lisa Kleypas . I fell in love with Simon and Annabelle and since then I have loved all LK books I've tried. I think I would have liked DiW so much more if I had read the series in order from the beginning - as it was I felt a bit "thrown in" and lacked background the first time. Now I've learned my lesson and try to always read the first book in a series first. I still have some unread LK books left and I want to savor them for as long as I can :-)

message 110: by Shelly (new)

Shelly (shellye77) Annabelle and Simon's story were my first LK read, and still my favorite LK couple, so far!

message 111: by Lisa Kay (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 4782 comments Yes, ♥ Annabelle & Simon. While I know tons of people love DiW (and rightfully so!), SoaSN is my fav from that series.

E. (dilawrosas) | 507 comments My first foray to the LK world was probably this Suddenly You by Lisa Kleypas , which I had bought because it grabbed my pique. However, the book didn't held on to my pique so I donated it. I'm not sure about my next foray to the LK world. But I do know that I stayed in the LK world after registering in GR and learning about this group. The Wallflower series worn me down, that's for sure.
