Have to say i enjoyed the hell out of this book. The characters especially Mia was remarkable she was so storng and brave fighting her problems head on.. and then there was Fox, the beautiful, strong and hot Fox ;) new book boyfriend alert. The story, the passion and the chemistry was out of this world.

I finished and unlike Irina, it was not that enjoyable for me. I've read other Cari Quinn novels and loved them but this story fell a little flat for me. I think I'm a rocker chick as opposed to an MMA chick.

Finished last July 27. I thought it was an easy read with some really funny moments. Nothing exceptional. Conflict was a little unusual but overall, it was okay. 4 stars.

Fun, easy and quick (if not very deep) read. My only complaint is that the romance was too instant for my taste.

I didn't think I would really, really like it as much as I did. Who knew one could grow fond of a gigolo? I did skim through the scenes where he was servicing all of his various clients. Who cares about them?? But, still a good read.

Random Book List #246

I finished reading One Summer: America, 1927 by Bill Bryson and it surprised me! I don't read a lot of history books and normally I find them really boring. The writing of this book was entertaining and it kept me engaged in the story and the history of this one summer in 1927 where so many amazing things happened! I gave it 4 stars.

I've read Daughter of Smoke & Bone and I really really wanted to like it, but this just wasn't for me. I enjoyed the first half (view spoiler)[ the idea with those collected teeth in exchange for wishes was brilliant and exciting (hide spoiler)], but when the romance part started (view spoiler)[ and the whole angels/demons war thing (hide spoiler)] I found myself bored. Usually I give a book, that bores me, two stars (one is for those really bad stories), I'll add another for beautiful prose and the first half.

The same one was with me Ty. Stayed up until I didn't finish it. :) The Mistake (book #2) is different but I liked it too.

I finished last Sept 3. Lovely prose as usual, and although I enjoyed it quite much, I felt the author was more focused on setting up a sequel rather than giving this book a real ending. Still a good read though. 4 stars

I finished Weird Things Customers Say in Bookstores yesterday, 9/25.

This was a cute book filled with funny happenings between booksellers and customers. Nothing outrageous, just smile-worthy. 3*

Finished yesterday. There are 4 novellas and I enjoyed almost all of them. Charlaine Harris' novella was just okay to me. I enjoyed Meljean Brooks, though she is a new author to me. But I loved Ilona Andrews' novella (didn't realize I miss this one..where Rafael and Andrea started being together) and the Nalini Singh's one (Deacon and Sara's story). Overall, an enjoyable collection of stories. 4 stars
