Samantha walked onto the field not knowing what to make of this camp.

Samantha saw another girl and waved. She wanted to make friends, but not rush.

Lucas sat in the fields, looking over the lush expanse of greenery and rolling hills of strawberries. There was nothing to be afraid of here, but that didn't stop the terror gnawing at his heart, diminishing his confidence. All because of Evander, he thought bitterly.
Diona leaned on a crutch, almost up to her knees in grass and an occasional strawberry. She noticed a few people but didn't neccesarily recognize any of them. Hoping she wouldn't find any foul-smelling beasts here like Nick, she sat down.
"There's a hole in the ladder, a fence we can climb. Mad as a hatter, you're thin as a dime-- go out to the meadow, the hills are a-green, sing me a rainbow, steal me a dream." Sappho soft and soothing voice eased her anxious thoughts, the simple rhyme scheme she'd made up on the spot calming her immediately. Finishing the little poem, she sat down beside Lucas, her profile to his left, the sun casting little shadows in her angular face. "Hey," she said quietly. Her conversation voice sounded pale in contrast to the voice she'd used while half-singing out her earlier poem.
Diona slowly turned her head to Sappho. She was a few yards away, she hadn't noticed Lucas. Diona could see past the grass but was pretty hidden except for the bright blue of her t-shirt. She bit her lip at some of the words in the song. She absoloutely adored it from the first syllabel. But some of it brought back her life. Something she wanted to momentarily forget.
Lucas gave her a sidelong glance, forcing a half-smile. "Sup, Sappho," he replied quietly, glancing at the ground where a daisy grew. Daisy chain.
Diona akwardly shifted her position, so she was leaning on her elbows and her legs were straight out behind her. She was laying on her stomach, cutting the grass with her sword absentmindedly. The crutches beside her clinked a little when she moved.
"Not much," Sappho replied after a moment's thoughtful pause. "But you... you look slightly drawn, Lucas," she observed, voice pleasantly understanding without a trace of sympathy. "Penny for your thoughts?"
((He's remembering Myr-Myr, dear dear.....FAIL.))
((If ADrian were here...
Heheheh))
Diona tried not to listen to their words. She shivered a little, and untied a sweatshirt from her waist and put it on.

((...I am so ashamed.))
"Phobos' kid," Lucas answered with a blunt scathing. "If you've had the misfortune of meeting him, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about."

Diona frowned, catching a few words. She tried not to sputter a laugh out loud. He's talking about a misfortune of meeting someone?

"Evander," Sappho said, shaking her head, long wild locks bouncing on the small of her back. Memories danced in her head and were pushed out almost immediately. "He's a bully. It's hard not to mind him, but we should remember that fear only exists of the unknown." Sappho's voice faded out, broke away, and she reached over and plucked the daisy, long finger, inkstained as usual, stroking the silky petals. "Sometimes I wonder what went wrong with him. What his greatest fear is. And why he takes such enjoyment in tormenting others."
((I know, I read her profile.))
Diona frowned. Who? Hmmm it'd be entertaining to meet this dude who could uproot an Ares... She thought. Then she cursed herself. She was spying.

"Those are some pretty deep thoughts," Lucas remarked with a sigh. He almost envied it, the way she thought, because he rarely thought at all. "But wouldn't we all like to know what happened to mess him up so much. And that's coming from me."
Denisa landed her pegasus to land on a low depression and she left it to graze around. Duncan, the pegasus cantered around her as she willed it to stop and the pegasus nuzzled her. Then it ran towards Sappho as Denisa looked into Diona's eyes.
((
1. Bring her to the stables if you want her to be riding her pegasus.
2. Evander isn't there.

That brought a smile to Sappho's face, and she looked at Lucas, her fingers absentmindedly tearing the daisy petals apart. "Truthfully," she said, raising and lowering a shoulder, "I doubt any of us will find out. Better content ourselves with not knowing."
((Should she tell Lukie about Myra's dilemma, oblivious to the fact that they're going out? >:D))

((Ohoho, you know it bzatch.))
Lucas nodded, though he would never be content with not knowing. "Yeah," he agreed lamely.

Diona sighed, deciding to go climb a tree. Then she realized her leg and cursed herself again. She stood up akwardly anyways. Getting on her knees, she dragged her self up with the crutches and began to walk/limp to go pick some strawberries.
"Well," Sappho said, trying to lighten Lucas' mood with gossip, "have you heard about the love issue we've got in camp?" Her voice was light, playful, slightly teasing.

((the intro says ride your pegasus!))
Denisa muttered to Duncan to ride back. Duncan left, a little annoyed.
"Hi" she said to Diona.

((Is she a posiden?))
Diona mumbled something like 'Hey' she said, but didn't feel like socializing with anyone.
That was a lie. She did feel like socializing with someone. Someone who was half-insane. Someone who she pretended to be bantering with. Soemone that could always make her smile.

((:DDD))
"What love issue?" Lucas asked, glancing up with an amused grin. Probably some Aphrodite or whatever, he assumed instantly.

"This guy from the Apollo cabin, Andrew or something, had a huge crush on a girl from..." Sappho paused, her memory failing her. "Er... I can never remember the name. Anyway, rumour has it that she was shot with a love arrow he'd stolen from Eros, and now she's completely in love with him. But it's weird, it's almost like it's not working properly on her. Like she was already truthfully in love with someone. Now Cullen from Hermes-- great guy, by the way-- offered to get the girl the cure. She's heartbroken, strangely enough. Apparently she was sobbing her eyes out in the forest." Sappho took a deep breath, the amused grin on Lucas' face spurring her on for more information.
The dryad had told her... what was the girl's name again? "Pheobe or something, she was called," Sappho said, trying to remember. "Or... Yes, I'm almost sure it was Marie."
((Just wait, she'll blurt it out xD))

"Marie?" Lucas sounded more skeptical and puzzled than anything else, but the name brought back a few memories. He waved them away, getting back to the point of conversation. "Huh, didn't know there was a Marie here. But that's sad and hilarious at the same time," he amended with a snort.

Diona leaned down to pop a strawberry in her mouth. "Hmmm, too mushy for vinegret but would be good with a soft italian aged wine with cheese cake." She muttered to herself quietly.
((Sorry if that didn't make sense I don't know anything bout wine so...))

"Oh! Not Marie," Sappho said brightly. "That girl from the Hebe cabin. Myra. Sory, the two names sound awfully similar." She shrugged, glancing at Lucas, glad to have made his day a little better "Love. Pfft." She flapped a long hand in the air dismissively. "Who needs that bullshit."
((xD LOL, Kat. I kindof like wine, a bit. O.o Shhhhh...))
Lucas was silent at first, his initial reaction to the shock. "Yeah, that bull," he said in a neutral tone, just when he was deciding rather to be hurt or enraged.

Diona heard 'Myra'. She cursed again and started to walk away but then stopped. Adrian's sister? She didn't know her that well, but she knew Adrian well enough. She hadn't caught their conversation so she kept wlaking.
Denisa heard her half-sister’s name mentioned.
“Myra? Oh, Myra.”
