Jayson shrugged. "Guess so." He then realized how pessemistic he must sound and gave a sheepish smile. "Thanks, though, for helping," he added.
Vanessa smiled. The biggest smile she'd had all day. "Anytime." She said. Then, she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Jayson gave her a quick hug. "Looks like we have a mystery on our hands," he chuckled. "What do you think we should do, now?"
Vanessa smiled back at him. Their hug made her heart thump loudly. She was also lightheadrd, and her breathe was hard to come by. "Um... Keep looking for answers? Or do you want to take a brake. Maybe to one of our cabins?" She looked at him, again letting him decide.
"um. I don't know about you, but I'm so tired. I think it's just cause I'm a wimpy Aphorodite." Her eyes suddenly felt heavier.
Jayson raised a brow. "Wimpy? Don't believe it. Maybe some of those perfume infested kids....but not you."
Vanessa looked up at her, her eyes shining with graditude. Thinking again, they dimmed immediatly. "Jayson, I am a perfume infested kid. I'm a daughter of Aphrodite for Hades sake!" She sighed angrily, holding his hand tighter. "Sometimes, I hate being a child of goddess of love. No one takes me seriously."
"Seriously? Then how could you've been me in the race? Besides the fact that I might be a wimp." At that he held up his hand. "And if I really am, please lie and say I'm not. It helps my pride," he added with a grin.
Vanessa grinned up at him, her face glowing. "Aw. No, you aren't wimpy. And I'm not lying. Well, I guess you're right about the race thing. Unless you were going easy on me?" She raised her eyebrow at him sceptically.
Bennett strolled down to the fields, his bright orange hair standing out like a fire against the lush green.
Avery raised her eyebrows at the redhead walking up but shrugged and began slicing the grass with her small dagger out o boredom.
((*gasp* so am I!))Avery waved her hand with the dagger, the silver of it gleaming in the sunlight and reflecting small specks of silver in her cold green eyes.
Avery chuckled. "Good luck with that," she said with a smirk as she slid her dagger back into her pocket.
Avery rolled her eyes. "No one said I wasn't still bored. You're just more interesting than the grass." And it was true. She paced through his mind, searching for fears and other things to use against him if (doubtfully) needed.
"I would hope so," Bennett snorted. "If I wasn't I think my siblings would've thrown me out by now."
Avery shrugged, slightly sober again. "Well, you see a lot of secrets when you're one of my family."

Phobos... Phobos... Where had he heard that name before? Bennett shrugged. "Well, nice to meet you. Bennett Park."
Avery chuckled. "Well then, noble son of Hermes, take it if you must." She grinned and pulled her knees up to her chest.
"I have succeded in making your life unboring at the moment," Bennett said, plopping down. "I've met my goal."
Avery grinned. "Yes, it's such a beautiful day, what with the sun blazin down and possibly burning us."
