"You are perfect," Myra said softly. "You're perfect to me." She believed every word of what she said, and it showed. She traced her thumbs against the skin of Lucas' cheekbones, then tangled her arms around his neck, reaching out to brush her lips against his ear. "I love you," she whispered daringly, boldly. "Je t'aime." There was no way he could have misunderstood the meaning, so saturated were her words with adoration.
Sh ep ulled back to place a gentle, tender kiss against his lips, briefly. There was a sadness now, in her previously happy-go-lucky cerulean eyes, a sadness that could only through that feeling we all know so well: love.

Watching the two retreat to a secluded corner in the fields, shaded from prying eyes by a grove of young green trees, Sappho couldn't help but feel the slightest bit abashed. Cheeks high in a dull embarassed colour, Sappho rose, brushing distressed bits of grass from her jeans that she'd plucked to death with agile fingers. She cast a wary amber eye at the silhouettes, very close together, amongst the trees, blood pounding self-consciously in her ears.
Oops.
It was a very shamefaced Sappho that walked to the grounds, very shamefaced indeed.

Adrian walked lazily onto the field grounds. His position was careless, head hung low and he was slouched. His eyes were alive though and the corner of his mouth tugged at a smirk. He hummed a quiet tune staring down at a vibrant violet flower.
"Adrian!" Sappho called out, amber eyes shining. "Hey!" She waved a long arm and walked over, twiddling a daisy between her constantly fiddling fingers, hair blowing coarse strands across her angular face.
"Ink! I didn't know that you'd be here." Adrian said, looking up. His face displayed the perfect moment of happiness.
Sappho grinned widely as she reached him, throwing lanky arms around him in a hug. "I'm going to have to make up a nickname for you," she murmured, tilting her head so her sharp jawline contrasted against the tangled loops of hair.
"Of course. But no words describe me, except for a few greek ones that don't translate." Adrian said, letting more of his accent follow into his words.
((Ugh, sorry my bro wants to do FaceBook. C ya, Rose))

((Bye, Kitty. ROAWR KITTY'S BRO))
"Tell me," Sappho said, charmed as always by the husky tones of his accent. A slight warning in her ear-- careful.... that she paid no attention to.

((Ikr? I don't like him. BUT I AM BACK!))
Adrian blinked. "Tell you what exactly? I can tell you many things, the density of water, how to bind a spraines wrist, how to street fight." Adrian said cheerfully.

((YAYNESS!))
"I'd like to hear all in good time, Adrian," Sappho said softly, smiling up at Adrian's face. There were few that were taller than her or her twin, but Adrian stood two or three inches taller than she. And how could she do anything but smile? "Tell me the Greek words that describe you."

((What? I used Wiki, it means... *sigh* nvm this is more complicated then I thought.))

Adrian smiled. "μπλεγμένες, my dear Ink." He said with a sttrong Greek accent.

"Blegmenes?" Sappho asked with a puzzled smile, thrilling at the sight of seeing his grin. "Sort of like... entangled," she said, gaze flitting between Adrian's and the treetops.
Sappho didn't say anything, just took a half-step back, looking thoughtfully at the ground, absentmindedly tucking the worn daisy behind her ear. "He's a puzzle, he's a riddle, he's a broken apple rhyme/ He commits if he commits but he cannot find the time/ He's a golden boy, a god, made of a thousand sins/ Flitting from time to time to space again, where the journey still begins."
Iviana stepped onto the grassy plane. Her wounds were improving, though she still felt weak. She absently rubbed bandages around her hips.

Iviana's eyesbrows raised ever-so-slightly at the girl's semi-formal way of speaking. "eah. I'm sure."

Adrian raised his eye brows in surprise and admiration. "That was amazing, Ink." He breathed, running a hand through his hair.

Iviana stared down her hands. She sighed quietly, turning away from the strange girl. She glanced at yet another unfamilliar face.

Iviana casted her gaze to the grass around her. Was this her fate? Constantly torn apart both mentally and physically. Was that it? Both problems were her fault, of course. The 'If only...' statements raced through her mind on all-too familiar paths.

The statement fell flat. Iviana hadn't heard. Her eyes betrayed everything that her calm face didn't.

"I'll be fine," Iviana said quickly, perhaps a bit too quickly. Another idiotic flaw about her. "Honestly."

Iviana glanced up at the girl. Somethin about her... That trustworthiness.,. Iviama thought. A sigh left her. "The honest-to-gods truth? My life is pretty freaking messed up.@
"I found out that I'm in love with my best friend," Iviana muttered. "And he probably doesn't think the same way O do."
"My best friend, my only friend, rather, and I cant carry out a normal conversation anymore," Iviana sighed.
"No. You don't understand, do you," Iviana said at a whisper, her voice wavering. "How can you? No one really does. You're no different from the rest."

Avery narrowed her eyes. She was feeling slightly sympathetic, so she decided to give the girl one more chance. "I'm going to give you one opportunity to take that back," she grumbled.
"Why should I?" Something deep down, the one thing that kept Iviana the way she was, calm and 'nice', shattered into a thousand pieces. "Why should I take back the truth behind each and every damn person here?!"

Avery raised her eyebrows, and then shrugged. If the girl wanted to see her love die, then so be it. Avery focused on the girl and planted a tiny seed of fear. She spread that seed with a small grin on her face, enhancing the girl's every fear by thousands.
Iviana crumbled, not only from the visions--the nightmares--but also fr her own tower of emotion crumbling to the ground. A dead body lay before her. One body came first. Tears were brimmingher eyes as she recognized his features. She screamed in her dream.
"No," came a whisper in reality.
Melting away, a man, remarkably similar to Iviana herself, replaced the old scene with yet another slide of horror. He, her step-mother and sisters stood before her. They weren't moving. However, they stood together... Like plastic dolls all lined up in a row. And Iviana? Outside the plastic wall of the plastic world... Alone.
