Are the bins located by the books? Or registers? I just might go and check it out, but would like to have some idea of where to look for them:-)

Good luck! :)

LOL! Definitely sounds worth it, if the selection is good. Hope you found some great buys/sales! :D

Also picked up some movies:
Bubba Ho-Tep My brother just informed me that this is one of the BAD Bruce Campbell cheesy movies, not one of the good cheesy ones. Oh well!
Pathfinder
Windtalkers
Sliding Doors
Wide Awake

Welcome to the group, Grace! Hope you enjoy your recent buys.
While running errands yesterday, some on base, I popped into the book store for a book for Mom. Turns out they had piles of

And BWB now has free shipping (as long as you don't use marketplace) so it makes it more viable. Sometimes they are cheaper than BD sometimes not. Just gotta check each book.

I've bookmarked the site, I'll try to remember to check their price before BD. I may also use them in the future for donations.

Seems to be. Thanks for sharing it.

Kindle Freebies

Saying "no" to anything free is a Herculean task. I can't believe I've acquired so many books in a month. *blushes* At least I've read 17 of these all ready.

Ditto. I am so taking a closer look at that website after noticing books under £2.50 = $3.98 (exchange rate atm).
For anyone in the UK, surrounding islands and Ireland, I present to you The Book People. The bargains I've found:
True Blood / Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris - 10 books - £9.99
The Immortals by Alyson Noel - 4 books - £6.00
Kitty Norville by Carrie Vaughn - 3 books - £4.99
The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare - 3 books - £7.99

Picked up form Ellora Cave and Samhain

LOL and I can't tell from all that I have picked up,freebies, over the last couple weeks which one I bought last week.
When it was eweek, I picked up almost 80 books, then downloaded another 50 in the past couple days, mostly books for the grandkids who we will be keeping for most of the summer.
LOL The third book I bought from Amazon was

I don't know if that counts, however, VBG

I bought that preserving book. It has a very good roasted red pepper sauce that I make every year. Delicious!

There were a few re-buys (needed/wanted the book again).
The books:

You have some other great books there too. I was planning on going book shopping this weekend until I broke my glasses earlier this week. I can't believe how much frames have gone up in the past few years, left my checkbook gasping for mercy. LOL. I'm seriously going to have to figure out how to squeeze in a few new releases. PB & J anyone?

The back blurb. Steph was rounding up the Dark UF/PNR books and this was one of them.
I went through B&N with one of those little baskets. Filled it right up. The Julie Kenner series and Liu's Tiger Eye were re-buys (I like the reissue covers better).
Since it's only me, I'm a soup/sandwich person anyway. ;-) If I hadn't had the money put aside already, I probably wouldn't have spent half as much.

I haven't started the Dirk&Steele either, but I played the game based on Tiger Eye...it made me want to read the book.
I hope to read the Touch by an Alien soon. :-)

I've very interested in Deadworld, so I'll be lookin' forward to your reviews, ladies. :)

Thanks! :)

along with Night Huntress series, I think I'm really going to enjoy my Easter holidays this year!!

Glad to see you're movin' along with Kate Daniels, fantastic series!
And, seeing your Song of Scarabaeus has reminded me that I'm anxiously awaiting my copy of #2, Children of Scarabaeus.
ENJOY!

I loved the Kate Daniels world and setting, and she's fun! And I'm anxious to read more Curran. He's not my favourite male hero but since it seems everybody like him so much, I suppose I'm still missing something. Makes me want to read more.
I'm also very curious about Fever. I've only read good things about it from you guys. Same goes for Song of Scarabaeus.

These are the ones I bought:

Some others that are available:

BTW - Declaration sounds interesting, I'll have to check that one out. Seems dystopia is the new YA trend. I'm diggin' it, since I enjoy them, but hope they don't wear it out.
ETA: Got Deadworld! Yay! Thanks!
ETA2: Ok, never mind my "dystopia is the new YA thing" as I see Declaration was originally published in 2007. :)
