@Zeenat - sorry, it's been a hectic week - feel free to ping it over!At dinner my hubbie announced mysteriously 'It's the last day of the two goat month' ?!?!
So what picture on your calender are you saying goodbye to today? :D
I have a calendar with scenic pictures from the Isle of Skye. I absolutely love Skye, cos it's such a beautiful place, so I've got different pics to look at all year round.
Aw, I'll send Pritkin round to give you words of encouragement ... actually, maybe not. He'll just yell a lot!Good luck with the exams!
Sent Anna! And if anyone wants to read it, I can send it over :)Claire good luck on your midterms!! Think of finishing Dresden Files as a reward ;) LOL!
Hahah thanks guys!!And Lannister, by all means send Pritkin over!
I ended up reading Dresden Files 11 and loved it.
I had to buy a new kitchen knife because I felt my old favourite was getting a little blunt. So, naturally, today I nearly sliced my damned finger off because I'm not used to the sharpness of the new one.You can't beat a gorefest at breakfast time. There was enough blood to attract every vampire in a five mile radius!
Random thought of the day (Also posted in the Karen Marie Moning thread): Jericho Barrons is the overhumanClearly, midterms have addled my mind
I'm excited for you to finish dresden files... slightly less about midterms ;) J/K! enjoy spring break! Are you going anywhere?
Who woulda thunk one could become so dependent on a website?? LOL@ Lannister - Thanks for re-assuring me it wasn't only me!! :D
No worries, I use this site if I don't know if it's my PC or not:http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
It checks if a site is, well, down for everyone or just you! :)
@Zeenat Nope, I'm not going anywhereBut I got to celebrate my dad's, nana's, and little sister's birthdays. And I'm getting to see my best friends.
I'm very excited for girls' day- manicures, pedicures, shopping...etc
that's a great site Lannister! goodreads twitter account told me it was down for everyone. I don't know how I survived it :PClaire, girls' day sounds like fun!
@Claire - That sounds awesome!! Have fun :) @Lannister - Thanks for the site :) It'll be so useful to check stuff.

Lannister could you put that in the info thread - I'm sure I won't remember where I saw it when I need it.
Anna, no problem. I've added it to the bottom of the first post in the 'Information for new members' thread.
Jax wrote: "Arushi - I believe they're looking for you over in the "Who am I" thread... :)"I don't think I ever thanked you for that one, Jax :) You got me there before I was killed or worse, I lost my chance.
Btw, I rewrote a story I had written a few years ago and posted it on my blog. Now I feel nervous coz well it IS from a few years ago!
People go see! People go see!! http://inkedblack.wordpress.com/2013/...
I need honest opinions!!!!

It was sweet! :) - And very well written.
I had no problem visualizing every scene!
Definitely one of those stories that you get to the end, and go - Aww! I want more!! :D
Arushi, that was great! My only comment is that there is a lot of back and forth with the past and present and it get's confusing. For a short, I would try to condense the jumping around. But otherwise, love it!
Ooooh, my kindle touch just updated, and it's WAY better than it used to be. Now they have book covers! so you will see book covers if you want. It looks cleaner, too.It calculates reading speed. Then it can tell you how long it will take you to finish a book approximately. LOL! I wonder what my average reading speed will be...
@Jax- Thank you so much :D I am so glad you liked it and now I am the one going 'awww!! @Zeenat - Thanks :) I will keep that in mind when I write another short. Also, thank you for the comment! Also the new kindle touch update seems to have made it pretty cool.
Hi Arushi will check it out over the weekend. Just found this quote...
"Words can only hurt you if you try to read them. Don't play their game." Derek Zoolander

Zoolander was a super funny movie.
More from my favourite Dinosaur Comics ... "Are you a Dracula? A handy flow chart to find out."http://www.qwantz.com/index.php?comic...
Let's all meet up in Panel Five!! ;)
LOL!!! It was good seeing you in panel 5 Lannister :) Next time we meet there, lets go for some coffee.
Hello ladies and gents! It is always hilarious to read your posts and very thought provoking too! I didn't really know where to put my question but here it is:
I'm tired of weak females (power-wise) trying to get better than the powerful male, who teaches her and mentors her (Ill never get tired of Cassie nor Pritkin!), so, I want a book or series where the female is already the alpha (and the book is from her POV) and she meets a weaker (power wise) male. She mentors him or something like and They slowly fall in love yada yada I just want a book with a female as an alpha already.
