Yeah, as long as we beat the Crows I will be content :) I went to both showdowns last year, and seeing Port win was awesome.
I go to a few each year (4 or 5). In 2007 I saw the grand final. Against Geelong. *shudder*
But oh well. I also saw the preliminary final (vs. Kangaroos, won by over ten goals) and the qualifying final (vs. West Coast, won by 3 points). Both outstanding games :D
Anyone see the Saint Kilda vs Richmond draw? 95-95. Amazing to watch, ball was I. The saints forward 50 for the last two mi urea of the game,and you could see how desperate both teams were. Great to watch :)

I was amused that the Eagles one. My husband's a big fan of the Eagles (they're my second favourite, after the Cats), and we're also in a tipping competition together. He didn't tip them, though, whereas I did. He got looots of ribbing about that :DGood game from the Cats. Was really pleased Chapman's 200th could be a win.

Round 3 teams have been announced. Exciting to see that Motlop, Hartlett, Salopek and Surjan are all back for the Power :) Especially looking forward to seeing Gray, Hartlett, Chad Cornes and Motlop play together, for the first time in YEARS.
Cats will win by a mile :/ However, we might just have a chance against the crows...what team better to beat for the first win of the season?

They played terribly today..Port might surprise you tomorrow you guys..fingers crossed..

Nah, they play the cats in round 22, the final round. By that stage Collingwood will have first place in the bag, so they will rest most of their great players (to avoid injury and be fresh for finals). Cats wont rest any players, they'll still be playing for a high ranking, and will be trying harder to win.
Geelong will be the only team to beat Collingwood this season. Just my thoughts :)

Ive been to four showdowns before: seen 2 wins and 2 losses.

Cats had an awesome win again!!! :)
Again...hahaha :) Yep, had a ball at the game (pardon the pun.)
I was sitting in the middle of a whole bunch of crows supporters, and they were getting really loud and in-your-face in the first quarter.
They lead by six goals at quarter time, and were being all loud and cocky and offensive.
They didnt make a sound after quarter time :D

I dont care who wins, as long as its REALLY close the whole way through. No more than a couple of points at any change...though I think Collingwood will score the last (and winning) goal. I will definitely be watching :)
Dont hate me, but I quite like Collingwood and Travis Cloke :D
You'll be doing a lot more of tipping Collingwood this year...and next. They're sooooo good. I actually dont mind them. After Port & Freo & Hawthorn & Saint Kila, they're my favorite team :)
