To make you feel better, over this side of the ditch we have to get our cars warrant of fitness tested every 6 months - it is always really stressful whether it'll just be the warrant check you have to pay for or fork out hundreds for other bits and pieces. Tires always make me grumpy - they are so expensive. My brother just had to do all his tires and his seatbelt springs and something in his engine too - ouch.

Wow! Every 6 months is fairly often...we only register our vehicles every 12 months, so that's usually when things have to be replaced before they'll reregister it..Your brother's bill would have been enormous!! >.<

Dee-Ann mentioned yesterday she couldn't review either Michael!!

I'm almost about half way through Sarah's Last Wish and I'm so annoyed, cranky, with the doctors, the system....I can't believe how poor Sarah and her family were treated!!!

My daughter is about to have all 4 of her wisdom teeth out next month. Not sure how she'll fair. My older daughter had the same thing done a couple of years ago and wasnt pretty for a few days. Having 5 wisdom teeth?? I guess you've got two on the one side then? Does that mean they'll charge you for the extra tooth?

Disagree with the list. Not enough modern literature, full of 'classics' which aren't necessarily enjoyable reading.

I really should be in Lab, doing chemistry but today is SO NICE outside (Syd, NSW). I am not even outside, just knowing that it is nice outside is enough to demotivate me.

Lame!

★ Jess | 3071 comments In other news, On September 5 I have my Personal Project due, which is a giant assignment that year 10's in IB schools have to do. If we dont pass, we technically fail the MYP-middle school, and years 6-10 will have been for nothing.
Anyway, the whole year level is freaking out, some people haven't even started their report or final product, which is a worry. Ive dont my product, and am 2,700 words into the report which has to be 4000 max.
Ugh, stressing out. I still need to have it edited and everything :s

message 3777: by [deleted user] (new)

ahh good luck Jess..souds like my yr 12 12.7 however wasnt as stressed as we had other ways of making up the grade for our op (QSC and the like)

I'm sure you will do fine

Jess, well done for being organised, takes alot of the pressure off and the final product is likely to be so much better!"

That's what I said to her....."you shouldn't be here"!!!!

message 3780: by Amber (new)

Amber (elfkingdom) | 366 comments Good luck Michael - I'm sure you'll be fine. I had all four wisdom teeth removed at once eight years ago, and to be honest I didn't find it all that noticeable. Of course, that might have something to do with them lengthening my jaw and shortening my chin in the same operation; but for the whole lot I was on Panadol Forte from Friday night til Monday morning, so I guess it really wasn't that bad.

sounds like a fun day Jess :/

news on my end...I am working a 7 day week this week...and I think I just might not make it!

Melanie, when you work a 7 day week, it means a lot more days, cos you immediately go into the 2nd week....how many days straight, or do you have one off after the 7th, going into the 2nd week? Good luck with it, you'll be exhausted!!! I remember working 13 days straight once....oh boy!!

A couple of years ago I worked two jobs for a year which meant a 7 day week - it was pretty horrible. I did get used to it but I wouldn't recommend it.
