Oh you lucky devil you!! Very jealous! I so wanted to see Michael Connelly! And Michael Robotham is a great speaker - what a wonderful day you had!!! Michael Connelly's next one is due out in October and it has Lucy Soto in it with Harry - he's left the force! Can't wait!!!

Just bought the vegemite chocolate and waiting for daughter to come so we can taste together. Teenage son has already said won't be tasting it at all.On another topic, not being a member of a library. Would love to be but up until a few years ago our shire did not have a library at all and we had to pay close to $90 a year per person to be a member of the closest library. Now all that is really stopping me is distance and time. After amalgamation it became free but after coping without a library for over 30 years I have learnt how to get around it.

I've started re-reading the Harry Bosch books from the beggining as I've only read a handful in random order so it will be a while until I get to the latest ones!
Michael Connelly said he'd also like to write more about Harry's daughter following him into the force but he likes to age his characters in real time so it will be a few years before she's a cop!

LOL!! Not so sure about Jack Russells now;)
They can go either way. I'm usually more wary about a jack russell than I am about a german shepherd or bull terrier. Also I wish my cat cared enough to make this much noise.

Have just got home from doing the weekly supermarket shop and unpacked the vegemite chocolate. Have to say I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I wasn't expecting it to have a liquid vegemite/caramel centre rather than being mixed through the chocolate. I kind of let the chocolate melt in my mouth before biting into the centre so I think that helped reduce the shock of the vegemite taste.
