Oh goodness - hope that's the end of it. As Brenda say - try to stay safe.

I just got to here by the circuitous route on the off chance of finding posts and what do you ..."
It seems to be site wide Jools..the feedback group is discussing it too..

Still the same here Marianne, I've had one notification since yesterday morning, though I think they are aware of it now and trying to sort it.
I just received my first notifications in 30 hours :D The review likes and emails have been coming through Marianne..just not the ones for all new posts.

I feel so sorry for you. I presume you've reported it to the police. They will canvas your street etc and see if anyone saw anything.

How strange you got some notifications, Bette. I got absolutely nothing all day! But it's working now!

Last Tuesday's earthquake held my guide hostage in Kathmandu for a week. Blocked roads, landslides and continuing tremors settled yesterday.
Now on five day walk home with Aussie donated supplies for his Himalayan village.
Yay!

I saw that last night - my worst nightmare as well!"

Put them on your wish list with Amazon - they may go down in price by the time you're ready to read them Rita:) It's often the way that you'll outlay the money, and they go on special the following week (or something!)

I think they plan it lol - as soon as you by that book you really wanted, they put it on sale after. :p

I dither over some and others I just purchase straight away and then I get annoyed with myself when I see it cheaper later. But it's nice to just buy sometimes if you reeeaaaalllly want it. :)

I am currently in between the overspending part and actually receiving the books, but the guilt has already kicked in.

That's why I stick with Book Depository - they have a wish list option. And I have now started to use my Goodreads Wishlist shelf that I created :)

It just depends how you want to use it personally Rita. I know we all use it a little differently. For myself, I have a wish list as I know it means I don't own it yet and wish to. It will still be on my TBR as I still want to read it. Whereas if I own a book it'll be on my TBR only (plus the other shelves I use) Does that make sense?

I have a few BD bookmarks now and they are gorgeous.

That is where books come in handy - no notifications? Read a book! Internet dodgy? Read a book.
I love books :)
I needed to share this beautiful story about 5 year old Josiah - there are so many bad stories out there; this is not one!

Whereas my TBR usually won't be books I own, as once I have them I read them. So my TBR consists of books I want to get from the library or buy.I don't use the wish list.
