Thank you :) This sadly happens every year because I don't have permanency in the Education system (don't get me ranting)..However, I try not to think about it too much and only hear about if I got my job again when school resumes (this is the normal affair for non perms as terrible as it sounds and it is).

But I cannot let it consume me so best way is to just think about the holidays and I've got work friends in the same situation too..We all try to take the same thought and just enjoy the holidays with friends/family/etc. And the worry comes much later on! Hahaha :s

Know how you feel Laura, fortunately I just received a 12 month contract but things are tight in education at the moment. Enjoy your holiday, I am sure you will be back in Education soon.

Ah, I see. It's a similar story for many in government departments here in Queensland as well. Hope you have a wonderful time off, at any rate! Am jealous of your time in Italy!

Make that two reserves now Marianne- thanks for the heads up! I am waiting for Landline by Rainbow Rowell. I requested it as soon as it was released, it won the Goodreads Fiction Book of the Year and still nothing from Wollongong library! I know they pay attention to Goodreads as they had a display...

Goodreads has informed me I have read 150 books this year. thought it might have been more than that. But I think sometimes I forget to post them all.
