It's a great feeling to finish a project! :)

It's refreshing to hear your positive take on disaster, Tracey! :)

I can't wait to read your thriller Tracey!

The ironing of course;) I loathe ironing, and since my husband retired, I haven't done ANY!!! O_O!!

Very smart. I may give it up, too. The only way I survive it is to put on some good music. Classical to begin with, then 60's and 70's as the energy flags.

I do the barest minimum: ironing's time-consuming. Like C.A., when the writing and publishing is happening, almost everything else takes second place.

Now that's clever! Have you tried the same method with cooking and cleaning?

Sometimes it awesome to be sloppy.....:)

I'm glad I'm not alone! Not that it would worry me if I was - I'm not sure I'd know what an iron was if it hit me in the face! I certainly can't remember when I last ironed - sometime last year...

I iron only for immediate use. :)

Or writing....or going out.....or playing an instrument.....or painting a picture....or walking the dog....:)

That sounds wonderful!
Ron and I love to go dancing, too: we love the music of the 60's and 70's!

Not much ironing here, only the absolutely
necessary. I even try to buy work clothes from a place that no irnong is necessary, but still look great. That's funny one of the shops of buy from is called "Motto".

These days, I don't mind sacrificing a bit of coolness for the sake of no need to iron. The pure cotton clothes are probably a bit more comfortable in the summer than their synthetic blend counterparts, but....:)

That's the one Sharon! You've just hit the nail on the head....poor ironing lady though;)

Funny you should say that Sharon. When I was an enterprising 12 year old, desperate to earn some money, I would actually take in ironing from the ladies in the neighbourhood as well as all the usual stuff like baby-sitting and cleaning. I was on a good wicket for a while there often making $20-$25 a week. Of course I blew all my money on records and clothes but it was a fun time... for a while :)

I just had to race outside to get the washing in...the rain has stopped, but it was very heavy overnight, and is meant to storm later...It's very humid as well:(

Everyone in the path of the storm stay safe :)
Sharon wrote: "Just a quick storm, but it has stopped, and yes, Brenda, still humid here."
Just enough to make me have to use the dryer:(
