September - Pick It For Me! Challenge

I'm going to read Suddenly You by Lisa Kleypas. If I have time I might also check out the Travis' series but I'd start with the first book and then read the second one you suggested. I've been meaning to read her contemporary romances since I love the historical ones so much. Thanks for the recommendations! :)

We don't have a lot of books in common, but, hopefully, you can find something on this list that interests you:
From you TBR shelf:
1. The Time Traveler's Wife - I've only read a few of the books on your TBR list, but this is one that I enjoyed.
2. High Country Bride - I see you've read some of the later books in the series.
3. Mine Till Midnight - You seem to have enjoyed some of her other books
4. Bachelor Unleashed - It looks like you've read all her others ;o).
New to you (possibly):
1. Lover Eternal - You've read the first and liked it. May as well continue ;o)...
2. Welcome to Temptation - A humorous contemporary romance.
3. What Happens in London - I don't read many historicals, but I really enjoyed this one.
4. The Fire Rose - another historical with a magical/fantasy touch - a retelling of Beauty and the Beast.

Your welcome Danielle! Hope you enjoy it!!

Wow you have an amazing list of books!! I hope I can do you justice with some recs!! I am very intimidated by your diverse reading (and think YOU should be recommending ME books) and had..."
Thank you for your recommendations, Becky. I haven't decided yet which ones I will be reading, but I am sure I will find something good among your suggestions.

Wow- I thought my lists were long. I think I saw some vampire series in there I had never heard of before- and even though I have the BDB on my e-reader I haven't read the, I need to get on it I guess.
I enjpyed goping through your list and I hoep you like at least some of my recmmendations.
TBR---
The Book Thief I loved this book. It has a very unique take on death- as death is the narrator of the story. It was nlike nothing I had ever read before.
Bitten It takes a few chapters to get into the story but as you are reading you do get sucked in. I love this story and can't wait to pick up the rest of the series.
His Dark Materials Trilogy I think this is a must read. I did't read them when I was a kid- I just picked them up about 5 or 6 years ago. I enjoyed the charachters in this book and the way it transends more than one world. If you watched the movie and hated it-- read the book anyway- you should never compare the 2!
Guilty Pleasures all those vampires and no kick a** Anita Blake. She is a Paranormal butt kicking vampire slayer/necromancer. Whats not too love. This first book of the series is a little bit slower than the rest in the series. Don't put it down right away. She gets better. Around book 10 she gets down right freaky- just warning you.
Other Rec's
I love Charlaine Harris and have not even read any of the sookie Books. Grave Sight I love this book. It is about a woman who got struck by lighting as a kid and can know "sense" dead people and where they are burried. Great series.
The Hunger Games I can not say enough about this series. I loved it. Just read the last one and it was great. I highly recommend this one and think you would love it!
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter I also loved this book. I never would have picked it up but it was recmmended to me on this sight. It is a great story and the author is so good about weaving facts and fiction together.
The Forest of Hands and Teeth THis one is a a zombie story.. It is a YA book- thats what it says andyway. Can't say to much more or I'll give it away. Very good book.
I hope that I have recommended at least something you like. I can't wait to hear what you pick!

Hope you find something you like:-)
From your TBR:
1. Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas: I saw you read the other Hathaway books, and I think this was my fave......"
Oh Melanie, great picks for me. I am really wanting to squeeze the first 2 off the TBR list, as well as 5 & 6 off the New to Me list. MMM, I am not as fast of a reader as you are, but I will do probably 2 out of the 4 of theses books.
- Thanks Melanie :O)

- Thanks Melanie ..."
Glad you found smt you like:-) Enjoy! :-)

TBR SHELF
1. Kiss of Midnight - great series - hot scenes
2. Blue-Eyed Devil - I listened to the audiobook ..."
Hi Carolyn! Thanks for the great recs! I'm going to read The Bride by Julie Garwood. I'm dying to read Garwood so, this is perfect! Thanks again!

TBR
Moon Called by Patricia Briggs A good werewolf story, got to get the next one now.
The Good Guy by Dean Koontz I found this book really hard to put down a real page turner.
Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder Once I got into this book I really enjoyed it.
Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews I haven't read this yet, but this is on my tbr too.
New
Tithe by Holly Black Like me you seem to be a fan of young adult and supernatural books. This is about faeries, hope you like it :)
Marked by P.C. Cast Not as good as Twilight but still pretty good.
The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton One of the best YA classics in my mind. A really good read.
Retribution by Jilliane Hoffman As you had The Good Guy on your tbr, I thought you might like this thriller if it's your thing. One of the best I've read that was actually quite creepy but a brilliant read.
Hope you find something there that you like. :)

Ok since you only want new recs I will do my best! You have so many books that you've read that we have in common it's been tough, but I hope I found some you'll like.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins This book really has it all, action, thrills, moral quandries, twists and turns with a tid-bit of romance. I can't reccommend this one enough.
Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts I didn't really see any Nora Roberts in your read list and i think she is a great author. This series really covers the bases on supernatural romance. Vampires, shapeshifters, witches, and so on. I really enjoyed this series.
The Hobbit: Or There and Back Again by J.R.R. Tolkien I saw that you really liked the Fellowship. This is the prequel and it is really great. It's all about Bilbo Baggins and how he came into possession of the ring.
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan I saw you at least liked the Harry Potter books. These books are very fun, where Greek Mythology meets modern day. I've read the whole series and reguardless of the really terrible movie, these books are wonderful.
The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice I noticed that you really liked Interview with the Vampire, but you haven't read the next book in the series! This one is my favorite of the vampire chronicles so far; I've read the first four. It's all about how Lestat became a vampire and his history as a young adult human.
Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews I didn't see any V.C. Andrews in your read list. Her books are a guilty pleasure of mine. This is one of her most contreversial titles. I enjoyed the whole series. However, if you're looking for something a little less "crazy" I would suggest the first book I read of hers Willow.
The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor You enjoyed Alice's Adventure is Wonderland. This book is a very interesting take on how the book came to be. It is a trilogy, but the first book is the best by far.
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig A very fun, frisky, historical fiction novel.
I hope you can find soemthing you like!

It appears as though you read mostly PNR/UF/YA. I don't read much PNR/UF/YA so, I've picked books that I've heard great things about. I hope I've picked something you'll enjoy. If not, let ..."
I had already planned on reading Shiver and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo this month so in fairness of this challenge, I will read Lover Awakened as well. I really love the BDB books and since you said this one is one of the better ones, I will read it for this challenge.
Thanks so much for the excellent recs!

I will read Slave to Sensation and Dead Until Dark and a..."
Okay, now that you say that, I remember seeing various tbr lists and I didn't pay much attention to any but your large one! I had fun going through that, but I feel bad that I didn't pick from your September choices! I do hope you enjoy the two you picked though. I really liked both of those books!

I will read Slave to Sensation and Dead Until..."
Sue,you actually picked 2 I wanted to read in Sept. so don't worry, it worked out great. I will also try and read one of your new picks for me too this month- probably Once Bitten, Twice Shy- looks great!

From TBR:
1.Daughter of the Blood Anne Bishop is one of my favorites
2. Beyond the Night One of my favorite recent books
3.Gabriel's Ghost Loved this book, you've got to try it!
4. Divine By Mistake Loved this book
New:
1. Goddess of the Rose I saw you loved Goddess of Spring and thought you might want to give this one a try. Both of these are my favorite P.C. Cast books
2. Red Roses Mean Love I loved this book when I read it (about 10 yrs ago). Plan on re-reading it this year sometime.
3.Daughter of the Forest Give this author a try. One of the best books I've read.
4. Star of the Morning Enjoyed this book

Thanks for the recs! :3
They all look really good.. hard choices :P
I think I'll try and get my hands on Tithe.. I've actually been meaning to read it for ages, but it hasn't worked out so yet.. :/
Retribution sounds rather interesting too - and so do the ones from my TBR list :D But yea, I'll try and read Tithe!
Thanks (:
Buggy, I'll try and get on top of your bookshelves tomorrow morning.. and I'll have your recs up as soon as possible :3

Yikes. Our tastes are significantly dissimilar. I hope my selections work for you.
Your TBR:
1. A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught. This is one of my favorites. I also love Whitney, My Love which you have on your TBR as well but I think AKoD is better to start with and it doesn’t have the controversial scenes that WML does.
2. Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols. Haven’t read it yet but this was the first book to tempt me back into reading YA.
3. The Help by Kathryn Stockett. If you like it you may want to check out The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom which is also really good and kind of similar in content and tone.
4. The Returners by Gemma Malley. I was intrigued by the blurb.
My Picks:
1. Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. You gave 5 stars to The Lost Symbol which I haven’t read yet but I enjoyed the first book in the series quite a bit. Definitely better than The Da Vinci Code.
2. Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella. You rated Remember Me? 5 stars which I also really liked. The relationship that Lara develops with her great-aunt Sadie was really nice. This is one of the few books that made me cry at the end but don’t tell anyone.
3. Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married by Marian Keyes. You have Watermelon and The Brightest Star in the Sky on your TBR but this is my favorite by the author. Don’t be fooled by the title or cover. This book has some great depth and exploration to it while retaining Keyes’s trademark humor. I also really like Sushi for Beginners by her.
4. Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. You might like this since you liked The Hunger Games.

It appears as though you read mostly PNR/UF/YA. I don't read much PNR/UF/YA so, I've picked books that I've heard great things about. I hope I've picked something you'll enjoy..."
Oh good! I can't wait to hear what you think!!!

I really enjoyed looking through your TBR list. I actually found a couple of really promising books although our lists don’t have a lot of books in common. I really tried to balance what I thought were you preferences so I mixed paranormal and contemporary. ^^
TBR
I had a hard time picking these ones since I don't know most of them but since you pick them it shouldn’t be a big problem I suppose…
1. Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer – Well since you read the previous two I guess it would be nice to finish and, for me, it was actually the best one out of the four.
2. Just Breathe by Susan Wiggs - I'm really interested in reading this one too so :D
3. Blood Song – Cat Adams – It look like you’re really into this type of books and btw it has a nice cover xD
4. Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles – A perfect example of a book that I had never heard about now I can’t wait to read it.
New Recs
1. Taming Natasha by Nora Roberts – I noticed that have a lot of books of actually one of my favourite writers. This is a collection of seven books about the Stanislaski family and I loved every single one of them. If you are a fan it’s a must read.
2. Talk Me Down by Victoria Dahl – Another book that I think might suit you. It’s the first book of trilogy and by your list you have a lot of series :)
3. Eldest by Christopher Paolini – Again you read the previous one and in my opinion this cycle only gets better by the second book so I’d recommend you give this a try too.
4. The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks – I’m not a fan of Nicholas Sparks because I hate the whole idea of every single book having some kind of disaster or death of a character but after seeing the movie I decided to give this a try and let me tell you it was one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time.

unbelivably I have not read very many books from your TBR List but the few I have read were Very good ones! so... here you go!
1.Odd Thomas, by Dean Koontz I read this one recently and really liked it,dean koontz is one of the authors whom I never know if I will love the book or really not like it until the very end!

3.Kiss The Girls, by James Patterson this is one of the great alex cross novels and I ADORE them!
4.Dead Witch Walking, by Kim Harrison I think you will enjoy this one it has just the right amount of humor, adventure and magic to be Great!
And Some new for you!
1.Once Bitten Twice Shy, by Jennifer Rardin this is the first in the Jaz Parks Series and I really enjoyed all of them
2.You Slay me, by Katie Macalister I Had a hard time picking which Book By this author to suggest to you, I have read every book of hers and have liked them all to certain degrees, however the Aisling Grey books are my personal Favorites.
3.Intensity,By Dean Koontz This is My favorite Koontz book
4.One Scream Away by Kate Brady This is her First Book and I read it Start to finish in less than a day I could not put it down!

1. Villette is a romantic classic with a bit of mystery and intrique.
2. Vampire Academy is the beginning of the best vampire series I've read recently.
3. Silent in the Grave fabulous murder mystery. I remember wishing there was another book to follow this one.
4. The Thorn Birds was a controversial romance in its time. Beautiful setting and wonderful characters.
5. The Historian mystery novel with a twist on the Dracula legend. This one kept me guessing.
6. Sex, Murder And A Double Latte I read the fourth book of this series, Lust, Loathing and a Little Lip Gloss. The main character is the same in them all and she is fabulous and funny. Start with the first one, though, b/c I don't know if the love interest is always the same. I think I missed out.

8. Devoured This one is a paranormal romance and continues the Snow White fairy tale into the modern day and an amusement park.

4.Naked in Death by J D Robb - the beginning of the In Death Series and top of my auto buy list. This series is romantic suspense/futuristic mystery and extermely addictive.

I had a great time looking at your shelf, although it was really tough to find something new to recommend to you that you didn't have on your TBR list. ;-) Although I did manage to find a few!!
From your TBR
The Duke of Shadows by Meredith Duran - loved this romance set in India
Long Hard Ride by Lorelei James - Hot nekkid cowboys, very steamy!
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson - Love Lizbeth. What a character.
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig - historical/contemporary love story with a spy twist
Moon Called by Patricia Briggs - the start of a great UF (not to much romance though)
New to You
Cast in Shadow by Michelle Sagara West - love this fantasy selection

Hopefully, you will like some of the choices.

LethalLovely[/b:], here are my picks for you:
From your TBR:
1. Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver ~ This has been recommended to me on another Goodreads Group by several people. Sounds interesting!
2. Honk If You Love Real Men: Four Tales of Erotic Romance by Carrie Alexander, because I have a thing for romance books starring SEALs. . .
3. Glutton For Pleasure by Alisha Rai because, frankly, it seems *right* up your alley, if your "Read" shelf is any indication!
4. Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean. Again, I've heard great things, and it is different than the others I've put down.
Four You Might Not Have Thought Of:
1. Naked in Death by JD Robb. This book is the first in the long-running "In Death" series (30 or 31 and counting!!). This series is tremendous fun: urban romance/ cop thriller/ slightly in the future/ etc.
2. The Duke And I by Julia Quinn. The first in the Bridgerton Regency romance series -- totally classic!
3. Gotta Have It by Lori Wilde. The main guy's name is Durango Creed. 'Nough said!
4. Dead Sexy by Kimberly Raye. Vampire-cowboy-motorcyle guy = grrrwlllll
Have fun!

Yikes. Our tastes are significantly dissimilar. I hope my selections work for you.
Your TBR:
1. A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught. This is one of..."
Haha. Thanks for the picks, sorry it was so challenging. D= I'll try
Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married.

Anja- You're very welcome and I hope you enjoy Some Girls Bite. I think you will really like it and the series just gets better!

I feel privileged to pick for the person who paired us up. :)
TBR
1. The Fairy Godmother by Mercedes Lackey. I'm not a big fan of her earlier work (Diane Tregarde excepted), but I really enjoyed this book. It is a different spin on fairy tales.
2. Dance Upon the Air by Nora Roberts. This starts my favorite trilogy of hers, and Nell is probably one of my all-time favorite characters.
3. Dangerous by Amanda Quick. This was the first historical I read by JAK and I still love it.
4. Tempting Danger by Eileen Wilks. Start of a great shape-shifter series. I really like Lily and Rule and love Cullen and Lily's grandmother.

New to You
5. Truly, Madly by Heather Webber. A good way to start into mystery as it is as much romance and paranormal as mystery. Lucy's family has a gift to match auras and as such have a successful matchmaking business. But Lucy's gift was changed after an accident when she was a kid, now she can find things. Lucy is a great character and the supporting characters are a blast.
6. What Looks Like Crazy by Charlotte Hughes. Kate is a psychologist who is having some interesting personal problems. A fun book that you might enjoy based on your studying of psychology.
7. Phule's Company by Robert Asprin. A bit different. The dregs of the dregs of the Space Legion get a new commander who makes them believe in themselves. A great read!
8. My Big Fat Supernatural Honeymoon anthology. You seem to be dipping your toe into paranormal and this is my favorite anthology in the genre. If you OCD, you can read My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding first, although it isn't as good.
I hope you find something you enjoy!

Yay! I'm so happy I did good! I hope you enjoy Pleasure Unbound & Unholy Ghosts!

LethalLovely[/b:], here are my picks for you:
From your TBR:
1. Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver ~ Th..."
LMAO! Nice way of connecting "Glutton For Pleasure" with my massive read shelf! Thank you so very very much for the recs, Ashley FL!
Due to the availability of books at the library, I'm only able to choose from 4 of your rec's. I'm thinking about reading either Before I Fall (because I've been putting it off for forever) or Naked in Death (because it is completely out of my comfort zone). I might end up reading both. I'll keep ya updated.

Sorry I'm late, I really don't know where my head is lately. I have some picks for you, but since there were only 3 on your TBR that I know and have read, I'll give you 5 new ones to make up for it. Here it goes...
TBR
1. Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen
2. Dark Lover by J.R. Ward
3. Covet by J.R. Ward
All three of these books I enjoyed and I'm confident recommending all of them.
NEW
1. Naked in Death by J.D. Robb - I noticed you're a fan of both Nora Roberts and mystery/thriller novels, so here they are combined. It's a great series that just keeps getting better and better
2. Secrets of a Summer Night by Lisa Kleypas - since you enjoyed her "Hathaways" series I know you'll also enjoy her "Wallflower" series. I think I actually liked it more.
3. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden - As a lover of The Classics I think you'll really enjoy what I consider a New Classic. Like Gabaldon, Arthur Golden does a beautiful job of transporting the reader to another time and culture.
4. It Had to Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips - If you like contemporary romance you'll like this. It's a fun and funny read.
5. Eragon by Christopher Paolini - A YA novel in the spirit of Harry Potter. A great, exciting read!
It was fun making choices for you, I hope you find something among these recommendations you like.

Thanks for the recommendations - its kind of hard to choose one when almost all of them seem great reads:)You probably noticed that i like reading about vampires so thats why i chose to read..."
Hi hope that you like it..let me know

Thanks for the pick!

From your to-be-read shelves:
1. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
I saw you rated Hunger Games with 5 stars, and this is definitely one of my favorite series... Couldn't resist recommending you continue it!
2. The Bride by Julie Garwood
I only discovered Julie Garwood's Scottish hero books this year, and they are some of my favorites. I especially loved the audiobooks for them because the narrator did brogue ;)
3. Jane Eyre By Charlotte Brontë
I've been trying to read more classics this year and really enjoyed this one. Plus, you could watch the various BBC versions after you finish the book for comparison :)
4. Undead and Unwed by Maryjanice Davidson
Thought I'd recommend a funny book since I like humor :)
4 Random Recommendations:
5. Poison Study by Marie Snyder
Since you enjoyed the Hunger Games, I thought you might enjoy this book. I love dystopian books, and this was another young-adult that reminded me of the feelings I got from the Hunger Games.
6. Private Arrangements by Sherry Thomas
This is an author who I discovered last year and have come to love. She writes historicals, but they tend to be a little darker in nature than some.
7. Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
This is probably a completely random pick for you since you don't have that many contemporary books on your shelves. I thought I would hate this book, because I typically like historials more than contemporaries, but this book really stuck with me :)
8. Soulless
Finally, for a little fun, I picked a historical-paranormal. Well, it's kind of steampunk-light. It's an entertaining series, and the third book is coming out very soon!

Hopefully I suggested something that you will enjoy!

Wow we have a lot of books in common! I have a pretty good idea of what you like however because you didn't have very many books (that haven't been released yet) on your TBR shelf so I've given you more "New" picks.
I hope you find a great new series here as for the most part I've chosen the 1st book from a series I think you'll enjoy based on what you've already read. Cheers
From your TBR
1.Mockingjay-Yay it's finally been released!
New For You
1.Corralled- I saw that you were a Lorelei James Roughrider fan so you should enjoy this new series
2.Faith & FidelityI also noticed that you'd read Love/Loyalty so You've just got to read this 1st book in the series. I loved it.
3.Covet- If you're a fan of Ward's BDB then this is a must read series
4.Kiss of MidnightThe Midnight Breed series, Its great, very similar to Wards BDB world
5.The Darkest Night -This is another great series(Lords Of The Underworld) A group of Demons find their true love and search for Pandora's box. Lots of tortured heroes and again similar to Ward in that the storlines continue throughout the following books.
6.Pleasure Unbound-Another series (Demonica) With demons and other sexy paranormal creatures finding love in a paranormal hospital
7.Dead After Dark (Includes: Dark-Hunter Novella #17.1)- Contains 4 short paranormal romance stories. I'm recommending this exclusively for JR Ward's The Story Of Son. It's awesome.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - sounds interesting and is very popular right now. I guess if I want to hang out with the cool kids I should probably read this at some point in time. A distinct possibility.
Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts - not including the JD Robb books, I've only read one Nora Roberts book. I liked it but haven't gone back for more yet. Not sure I'm up for a PNR right now though.
The Hobbit: Or There and Back Again by J.R.R. Tolkien I explained to someone before about books like this. I read a few hundred books a year for more than a couple decades now. I haven't gone back through and listed all the books I've read, even the ones I've read and loved several times.
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan I saw you at least liked the Harry Potter books. Not feeling this. Maybe it was the horrible movie trailer that had me edging away from it from the start.
The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice See my description of The Hobbit. Read it. Loved it.
Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews I've never read anything by her. I've seen this title for years and just haven't picked it up. Maybe this month will be the month.
The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor You enjoyed Alice's Adventure is Wonderland. a possibility but trailing the other two.
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig It would have to be VERY FRISKY to overcome the fact that it's a historical. I just don't do historicals well.
Thanks again for the recs. Not sure which one I'll end up reading yet.

I had a great time looking at your shelf, although it was really tough to find something new to recommend to you that you didn't have on your TBR list. ;-) Although I did manage to fi..."
Thanks for the recs, Sherri! I think I'm going to go with either "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," "If You Dare," or "Three Days to Dead."

TBR
1. Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead - This is an excellent series and I highly recommend reading it.
2. Seduce Me at Sunrise by Lisa Kleypas - I noticed that you gave Mine Till Morning only three stars, but I recommend continuing with The Hathaways series. Seduce Me at Sunrise is a wonderful second book to the series.
3. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater - This is a young adult novel, but it is a sweet romance between two teenagers.
4. The Luxe by Anna Godbersen - Another young adult romance. It's a great first novel to the series, and it's a wonderful, young adult historical romance.
NEW
1. Born of Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon - This is more of a Sci-Fi/Urban Fantasy type book, but it's a great read and the first of a great series.
2. Can't Stand The Heat by Louisa Edwards - This is a great contemporary romance by one of my favorite authors.
3. The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter - This is a great paranormal romance series and Gena Showalter is a superb writer.
4. Under Her Skin by Susan Mallery - This is another great contemporary romance, and Susan Mallery is a great author.
5. If You Dare by Kresley Cole - This is a fantastic historical romance. The third book is the best of the series, but I recommend starting from the first so that you get everything that's going on because the three books overlap at certain points.
I hope there is something here that you can find and enjoy! Happy reading,
Leah :D

Let's start with the TBR recs shall we?
1. Naked in Death by J.D. Robb - Yes there are a crap ton of these 'In Death' series. No, the first one is far from my favorite to date (I'm only on number #15). However, Eve and her supporting caste are such cool characters that you just can't help but like them. I keep reading just to see what will happen to the characters. Great stuff here.
2.Chasing Perfect by Susan Mallery. I just started this about an hour or two ago. So far it is interesting and I haven't come across anyone I want to beat to death (that's a good sign for me). I can't stand a stupid heroine and so far I'm not disappointed.
3. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. No, I haven't read it yet. But it was recommended to me and I'll probably read it this month as my book. It would be cool if someone else was reading it at the same time.
4. Sin Undone by Larissa Ione Hot new read. You know you want it. Go ahead. I just got book #2 today but have 3 & 4 waiting on the shelf.
* Bonus - anti recommendation. I see that you have Unearthed on your TBR shelf. Do yourself a favor and forget this ever existed. One of the worst I've ever read.
New Recs will be coming soon.

LOL!!
Loved the bonus anti rec!!

I went through your shelves and picked a bunch of books for my TBR, I see we both like historical and PNR so it was easy to get a good list for you, I loved each and every one of this books and I really hope you find something you like, if not, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
FROM YOUR TBR
Lover Eternal by J.R. Ward. Oh my!, BDB is one of my very favorite series and this book is where you get to meet my darling Rhage… he’s mine, you know?, but I’ll let you read his story… *sighs…*
Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian. First book of the Midnight Breed series, you’ll meet Lucan and Gabrielle, great great series!, big sexy vamps and witty heroines.
Love Only Once by Johanna Lindsey. I noticed you like historical romance so you have to meet the Malory family, this first book is about Reggie and Nicholas and how they get together, and also, you get to know some of the family.
Then Came You by Lisa Kleypas. I noticed you like Kleypas’ books so I decided to include this one… it's very very funny! and the main female character is very complex and troubled, it was interesting to read about a women so strong.
NEW TO YOU
A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole. Another of my favorite series… ooohh you’re gonna LOVE this one, you have lovely Emmaline, half vampire, half valkyre and Lachlain, leader of the Lykae…
Just the Sexiest Man Alive by Julie James. A contemporary romance about an actor and a lawyer, very funny and witty. I think you’ll enjoy it.
Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Aaawww, this is a very very sweet story… I’ll just say this: it takes place in a circus… now don’t get me wrong, the story is great!, it’s just… I don’t know, I’ve never read another book with a circus as a background.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. This is the story of a little girl who lived in Germany when the war was just getting started, it’s told by Death (you know, the “guy” who takes you when you die) and it’s a little bittersweet, but very good.
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Oh my gosh!, you’ve got to read this one, Claire is this woman who suddenly finds herself two hundred years in the past where (or when) she meets Jamie, it’s a big book but you won’t be able to put it down!
Happy reading!

From TBR:
1.Daughter of the Blood Anne Bishop is one of my favorites
2. Beyond the Night One of my favorite recent books
3.[book:Gabriel's Ghost|352726..."
Wow Rachel... you know, for the first time I have no idea what I'll be reading.
I just don’t know which one to pick!!
Ummm… I was just thinking I was in the mood for some historical so Red roses mean love looks good but I also want to try Daughter of the forest… and Daughter of the blood… and last month I was thinking of reading Gabriel’s ghost…
*sighs…*
Oh Rachel, what have you done?
All right, I’ll let you know which one(s) after a little trip to the bookstore.

From yout TBR:
Savor the Moment by Nora Roberts -- read it a month ago and loved it! The first in the series is still my favorite but this one takes 2nd place.
Covet by J.R. Ward -- this is my 2nd book ive read by Ward and I really really enjoyed it. Im a fan of the supernatural so this book was good.
To Desire A Devil by Elizabeth Hoyt -- i haven't read this but it keeps getting recommended to me and Ive heard good things.
Welcome to Temptation by Jennifer Crusie -- I havent read this one either but Jennifer Crusie is usually an instant read for me.
New to You
Hearts Aflame by Johanna Lindsey. -- I saw that you liked "fires of Winter" by Johanna Lindsey and this is another viking tale that i really enjoyed. The heroine is amazing.
Strange Bedpersons by Jennifer Crusie. -- You read "The Cinderella Deal" by Jennifer Crusie and this is another case of "playing wife" turning into the real deal.
Ain't She Sweet? by Susan Elizabeth Phillips -- Another great Heroine. Sugar Beth is gets kicked when she's down plenty of times during this book and just lifts up her chin and moves on.
Temptation is probably my second favorite Jude Deveraux novel. My first being Secrets. If you liked Secrets this is just another story with lots of cover ups and misunderstandings.
