September's Build Your Own Challenge

I think I'll read Naked Edge next so my HRs aren't running together. I have to decide though.. I need something else to read now.

Read 11 Books
- At least 10 from my TBR (8/10)
- At least 2 must have 400+ pgs. (2/2)
- At least 1 book from 5 different series (5/5)

Would you recommend The Duke? I've heard many good comments about Gaelen Foley's Knight series so I've got all 7 on my wish list.

"
ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!! You and me both!!!
Believe it or not, the Twilight Saga books had me blushing and ***fanning myself*** when I read them, but the Black Dagger Brotherhood and those wild Carpathians were a shock to my nearly virginal eyes. Now I read eeeevvvvvverything! LOL

That's how "naive and innocent" I was. YES, they had me blushing. The part in... I can't remember which book, but Bella spends the day at the Cullen's to keep her safe, and she and Edward are on the bed kissing... I kid you not, I marked that page to re-read when I didn't have kids around.

Who's your 4th historical author going to be BJ?"
Elizabeth Thornton - I'm halfway thru Princess Charming

Yep! It's not going to be a 5* read, but I'm enjoying it. This is a romantic suspense, and the heroine doesn't know why people are after her, and of course the hero is going to find out, with the help of Special Branch, but right now they're all befuddled! And there's a good secondary couple who can't stand each other, so you know they're going to get together!

I'm going to read 9 or more books from my To Be Read Shelf.
All 9 are books I already own.
Three are a trilogy I'll start and complete.
Two will be authors I've never read before - Elizabeth Hoyt and Sarah McClean.
Two are series I'm catching up on, I-Team by Pamela Clare and EliteOPS by Lora Leigh
1 - The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella - Stephenie Meyer - Done
2 - The Raven Prince- Elizabeth Hoyt
3 - Naked Edge - Pamela Clare
4 - Three Nights with a Scoundrel- Tessa Dare - Done
5 - The Leopard Prince - Elizabeth Hoyt
6 - Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake- McClean, Sarah Done
7 - Black Jack – Lora Leigh - Done
8 - The Serpent Prince- Elizabeth Hoyt
9 - The Ranger – Rhonda Nelson - Done

There are books that are labeled erotica and are so dry it's painful. When I read Passion I was floored that it wasn't labeled erotica. It turned out to be so much more than I had expected though. It was a truly emotional story, and love story for the ages.

To Desire a Devil by Elizabeth Hoyt
Trying new authors:
Heather Grothaus with The Warrior
4/6 for September

I kept thinking...your womb, woman! Your womb!
I was also surprised that book wasn't labeled erotica. It's really hot and the story was very good. I think I teared up myself at their separation.
I love The Raven Prince. It's one of my few keepers and I hope to read it again one of these days. I hope you enjoy it!

6/6 COMPLETE
