I'll be leaving you ladies on the list in case you find you'll be able to after all. It looks like you both have 3 more books to read. If time permits and you're interested, give it a shot!

Beverly, I can update your stats if you'll list your progress as x/x, for example 3/7. If you don't have a set number to read, I can post your running totals.

Thanks, Beverly! I'm sorry to be a bother, but it's easier on me if everyone posts the updated totals. Then I don't have to take off my shoes and use my toes to count them myself ;)
You're welcome! I hope you'll keep posting the books as you read. I think I'll add you a round two with no set number that must be read.

Congratulations, Catherine!!
I'm back in my groove! Last month my reading was so erratic. I couldn't read with my usual speed and enjoyment because there was too much stuff stressing me out. I kept setting books down and feeling restless while trying to read. I'm so glad that's over!
3/6 CompleteRead one from each catergory
Paranormal Romance: Visions of Heat by Nalini Singh
Steampunk: Whitechapel Gods by S.M. Peters

I've been that way, too. I'm lucky if I can get through an entire chapter in one sitting. It makes it hard to complete the challenges. On the other hand, I find I'm catching up on review writing.
I am actually all caught up for a change! I just have one more to write, but I just finished that book this morning, so that doesn't count as behind. :)How many are you behind still?
I think Black Jack will be easy, but The Duke was such a good book and left me with such deep feelings about it that I'm struggling.
Those are the worst. It's so much easier for me to write reviews about stuff that irritated me. I struggle for words whenever trying to describe something that moved me or trying to describe that elusive spark.

It's like the erotica reviews I've been writing. Those are easy for the most part, even though they didn't annoy me. It's because there was no deep connection to characters, or emotionally moving events, etc.
I'm always struggling with reviews where I'm trying to express those feelings, the emotions I experienced while reading... and do it in a way that compels the person reading my review to want to read the book, not scare them away from it.

So Dhestiny...if we complete the challenge ahead of schedule, what should we do? Add a second challenge? Or just keep adding to what we read?

If you've set a certain goal and completed it, I can add a bonus round for you if you'd like! That's what Catherine is doing :)
Well, I haven't completed mine yet but I'm really ahead of schedule...let's see how I'm doing in a week or so and I see if I should add a bonus round. :p
