Why I read: It's just nice to be able to throw yourself into a whole new world, and if you're having a bad day it gets your mind off things for a while. I didn't really like reading while I was going to school. Don't know why, maybe because I thought all the books we were supposed to read during school were boring, and therefore thought all books were boring. Harry Potter changed that for me. And no, I didn't start when The Philosofer's stone got out, but started with the halfblood prince, because that was the next movie due to be made, and I felt left out because both my brother, sister and dad knew what was going to happen. So I was probably 19 or 20 when I read my first book for pleasure. Now I can't get enough of reading.
