I have finished
Wild Magic An immensely enjoyable read 4 stars
Cry Wolf there are so many character holes you start to wonder if you have just caught the "punchline" and missed the main event 2 stars
The Shack I quite enjoyed it , but found some of the religious ideas difficult to fathom 3 stars
Beastly This book was recommended to me by a friend for a reading challenge and I am so glad I read it. I found the book which was written in the Beasts point of view to be an enlightening read 4 starsI have started
Catching Fire and
Once Bitten, Twice Shy
ok. so I'm still reading
and after that I NEED another adult-paranormal series... so far i'm choosing among
any more suggestions??
@ Joanna, I'd skip Pleasure Unbound and go for Dark Lover (that's very adult.) Chicagoland is also a good choice...
@Joanna, I definitely recommendBitten out of the ones you have there. I also love the Sookie Stackhouse series Dead Until Dark
and Laurell K Hamiltons Meredith Gentry
A Kiss of Shadows- although theres a LOT of sex scenes in that one.
I am currently reading Shades of Atlantis by Carol Oates
I'm half way through and I really like it, but I'm hoping to get more of the Fae mythology soon- the author has been teasing me with snippets of information so far and I'm dying to know the secrets!
@Joanna I would recommend you read the Mercedes Thompson series. They're small quick reads loaded with action and a pinch of romance ;) (maybe more than a pinch haha)And from your picks Im leaning towards BDB series or Chicago Vamps series. But you should consider the Kate Daniels series too. (I havent read it but according to Isa its really good).
Also the Tairen(spelling?) Soul series is supposed to be really good according to Stacia.
Anyways, which ever you decide to start reading let me know how you like it.
PS. I have to say again, the Mercedes Thompson series is REALLY good.(No sex thou just implaid.....well I just finished the 5th book and there was a very small sex scene) but still, they are very good books, just ask Isa. =)

Agreed!!
How sad is it that every single book that I just mentioned in the previous post is adult and I'm posting in a YA group?I still read more YA than adult though, but most of the YA that I have read we all already know about!
But I don't mind plugging
and
again since not everyone has read those yet!
I just finished
& am now starting
...I really enjoyed the first one. It was better than I thought it was going to be!
Just finished
and it was so good! Now I am reading
and it's amazing right now. Very different but in a good way!
Akanksha wrote: "Have any of you read the Darke Academy series?? They are A-MA-ZING!!!!
"Nop, its the first time I hear about them but I'll check em out. Thankz!
@Stacia
I dont think I'll ever do Audio books. They're just not for me. But you should definetly give the Mercy Thompson another try. Maybe you'll like em better in print ;)

They are good. Not a lot of romance. It's more like hints of romances. Good actions and story plot. Had me guessing wrong at times!
Camilla wrote: "They are good. Not a lot of romance. It's more like hints of romances. Good actions and story plot. Had me guessing wrong at times!"Cool, I'll add them to my TBR pile
Joanna wrote: "@Isa, @Carina, @Lisa @Stacia thanks for all the suggestions! :)"Hey if there's something we're good at, its throwing books at people so they'll read em, LOL!
I bought Elixir by Hilary Duff.... It's actually good. I'm impressed. Who'd think Hilary Duff could form complete sentences, let alone good ones?
i stopped reading
because, well i just want to prolong the feeling of having to read more of it. (if that makes sense.) soooooooo. I've decided to read it once Shadowfever is out. that way I can read one after the other. :)
right now I'm reading
YA romance for a change. :)
Stacia (impatient for Shadowfever) wrote: "Did you at least get past the Pri-ya part?"you mean, Mac being a Pri-ya? yes. I stopped reading in the part where Mac and Barrons were in their second post-hot encounter. :)
Stacia (impatient for Shadowfever) wrote: "I know I said this before, but I'll forever have the image of them dancing to tubthumping stuck in my brain because of that whole part of the book."OMG! YES! i can't keep that out of my head. Just the image of Barrons NUDE and DANCING! gosh! lol. i never expected that.

Ok thanks everybody!
I'm reading SCENARIOS 3 & 4--Risky Business: 2 Interactive Stories in 1 by Nicole O'Dell. Everyone in the book seems so stuck up... Even the parents. It's driving me crazy... And it's for YOUNG young kids.
reading
and it's kinda hard because i feel it's for younger kids... my sister's 11 and she asked me to read it and that is why i'm doing it... can't say it's like bad bad, but it's not good either... or maybe just not my style... tries to teach a good lesson though but, then again, for younger kids
@STACIA I already have the characters voices in my mind so it would just throw me of listening to the same person for the whole book. But let me know about the Bloody Jack book cause my lil sis has been thinking about reading them ;)

i rea the second book and i had a really hard time getting int it,i just don't like the characters,or the plot development
hahaha I hate Charlotte!!! She annoys me on a whole new level... Guess it has to do something with the fact that I hate superficial people who are obsessed with what people think about them ¬¬ but oh well, I like to think that every book is worth reading it :)
