and really liked it! I love the whole mafia family vibe thing going on. I love that the main character is a male that sounds male (I'm looking at you Ethan and Sam). Something about Cassel almost makes me feel like I'm in Jace's head if we could see behind Jace's arrogant mask.

I felt that too. The euphoria is not as high as previous books. Too much characters that Katniss and Peeta was a little left behind. But it's good book though.

Oh and by the way....FINALLY someone who liked White Cat as much as I did! Cassel is awesome! And even if in the beggining I was kinda confused it picks up soo much, and the ending, OH THE ENDING!!

I think Mockingjay was good, but I agree that it wasn't the best in the series. You expect for books to end better than they begin, so it's a little bit of a disappointment when The Hunger Games is AMAZING & then Mockingjay is just alright.

I'm around fifty pages into Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. I know... I'm really behind. But at least I'm finally reading it now!



After this, I'm going to read Night World, No. 1: Secret Vampire; Daughters of Darkness; Spellbinder (Night World, #1-3) by L.J. Smith. I'm actually gonna read all three of the books in the series for a book challenge. I might take a break somewhere in the middle & read Tempest Rising by Nicole Peeler when it comes in at the library to take a small break.

@ Carina,

Cassel might be one of my new favorite guys. I kept staring at the front cover of the book and then the back cover of the book. The dark haired guy on the back was pretty hot too. I love the whole "worker" thing, and that no one is really good. Everyone seems to have an evil agenda.

It's about this girl with superpowers(she's been thinking she's a freak and trying to hide them) who gets offered a place in a private school called Delcroix Academy. Oh, to you White Cat readers...did anyone find Jace? I didn't skip any of the book and could not find him.

An internet search only showed me an old Twitter post from Cassandra Clare : Clare: Cassel tells a story about a guy named Jace in his dorm.

Why would Jace have been at that school? He lives at the institute.

@Stacia Jace was in White Cat but i don't think as a shadowhunter. he's the roommate of a roommate i think. when Cassel was telling the story of his roommate/ friend.
and about Jace from Shifter being the adorable puppy, I completely agree!

just finished i really liked it! it was nice to read a book without a love story! lol the only thing i wish that Luce (the mc) was nicer to the larvae :( but i recommend it
