What are you reading now?
Joanna wrote: "right now i'm reading The Replacement. :)"I thought that Replacements was cool and really creepy :)
@Isa I read one of the Demonica books(#2) but like you said it was, blah, just ok. And I was afraid the BDB was gonna be like that, but Im glad to hear its better!
@ Isa,I've only read the first book and found it to be just okay, nothing special. I keep getting told over and over and over that I can skip ahead to book 4 because that's where the series picks up and the books start tying into the Fever series (I guess the first three don't really at all), but like I said earlier, I'm just too OCD to start in the middle of the series.
@Stacia Awesome I'm gunna start it today but I also have the second Night Huntress book arriving so..

@Stacia and Carina... fourth book in the Demonica is definitely worth it... you can really skip the first three :) Im now looking forward to the fifth one.. :)
Oh my. So, I just went to my library to check out some filler books to read. I came back with 8! So here they are ...
,
,
,
,
,
,
, and
. Oh my goodness.
@Camilla I read White Cat a little while ago and its good but a little confusiong at first so dont give up on it cause it gets better!
Good! They are all short. The longest one is only 386 pages, so I think that I will read them even if I don't want to continue! Lol...
@Stacia Yeap Im gonna start The Truth About Forever tonight. Im trying to switch between YA and A so I dont get bored or it doesnt seem repetitive
The Truth About Forever was good(; and Camilla!!! 13 Reasons Why and Wintergirls were also good! But Wintergirls is a little confusing, but hardly. Stick with them(:
Isamlq wrote: "Joanna wrote: "right now i'm reading The Replacement. :)"I thought that Replacements was cool and really creepy :)"
yeah i can see the creepy part right now. :)
Camilla wrote: "Oh my. So, I just went to my library to check out some filler books to read. I came back with 8! So here they are ...

i think im giving up on highlander :(
as for demonica, the last two are def worth the read.
Carina wrote: "Who r the last two about? If I have it right the first three r about the brothers right.."yup, the first three are about the brothers... the next two are about their step-sibs (Lore andn Sin)... these books are cheesy but in a good way...

Stick with them(:"That's what I hear! I had more because the librarian had 4 others looking for good books for me and they were giving them to me from left and right! lol... But I'll let you guys know what I think about them as I read them.
I'll get started now. I finished Playing in Traffic last night. I gave it two stars. It is short and a fast read. An ok filler, I guess. A little sad at the end. But it's not one I was crazy about and I won't ever re-read it.
Started Looking for Alaska and so far it's pretty good!
I just finished
loved it!Now going to read
even though I really shouldn't with all my library books.
I finished Masquerade & I must say that it was much better than Blue Bloods. I'm reading The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause. Not very far into it, but it's ok so far. Nothing to write home about yet.
Also, I guess I drown my sorrows by shopping. So I bought:
I'm thinking that I don't need to read This Lullaby right now though... I'm just guessing by what I know of Sarah Dessens other books.
@Nikki I've been told that book is really good but for some reason Im very skeptical about reading it. Let me know if you like it..@Alice VA is always good!!
I have finished
A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore it was one of the funniest books I have ever read, just what I needed.
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa what an enthralling read. and I have just started
Magic Bites
Carina wrote: "@Nikki I've been told that book is really good but for some reason Im very skeptical about reading it. Let me know if you like it.."Ive got about 15 pages left. Ive actually enjoyed it a lot. I typically don't care for the fairy books. I've already put the second book on my request list for the library.

So I just got back from the lib., here's my haul:
,

. And I finally have my own copy of
and
!!So, I guess, here starts another sleepless week! :)
Carina wrote: "Awesome Isa! Do let me know how each book goes, they all look good!"The Chaos Walking (Knife of and Ask and Answer..) series is pretty good... The Mercy Thompson books are interesting too... Im super excited.. lol!!!
I saw the Mecy Thompson books and the caught my eye but not enough. But if the series keeps looking good, let me know so I can pick them up.
I wasn't as fond of Mercy Thompson as everyone else seems to be, but I've only read the first two. It wasn't that I disliked them (they were decent), but was moreso confused that everyone had been telling me that they were OMG SO GOOD and I didn't think they were amazing.Thought I'd try something different for book 3 and decided to request it on audio and see if it's better to listen to.
I also own Unholy Ghosts and can't seem to get past the halfway mark for some reason. I keep picking it up every so often and try to read another chapter but it's going slow...

They've got the same feel to them as the Kate Daniels series (I AM A BIG KATE DANIELS fan...) :)
Stacia wrote: "Moon Called was fine. I liked it okay. I just didn't get the rabid fangirl frenzy over this series that was plaguing Amazon for a while. People were calling this one of the best ever series. I ..."I felt the same way about Kate Daniels at first, but they really do get better :)
I don't think Mercy is in my top 10 either (at least not yet). I'll have to read the rest before I make that call.
lol! So many books, so little time, right?I'm supposed to be reading
but got sidetracked by
(which was much better than the first two) and
.
Haha totally Isa. Some books are greedier than others and demand your attention right away. I've learned not to fight them Lol!!
I bought these today. I can't wait to start Morganville Vampires from the beginning again & finish them out this time.
And then I got these from the library:

@Carina: BDB is a must-read (frakkin entertaining!) but the Demonica series isn't (it's just OK a bit meh, actually.) On Vlad, I really don't know if there's a spin off for him...
@ Stacia: I'm really shocked that I find one the first of Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series slow! I've had it for two days and I haven't made a dent in it yet!
