that's good to know Brit! I've got that one lined up to.. I just finished GoT (which was just as AMAZING as the series IMO...)

brittany (cirilla) Every other day? I hope you enjoy it as much as I am when you read it. I am over halfway and there is no romance so far which is a definite change for this..kind of genre xD;

I haven't even seen the GoT series.

Jennifer Reeves (barefootdokusha) I am currently reading Tankborn by Karen Sandler

message 8207: by Courtney (new)

Courtney K (cklueh) L.A. Candy (L.A. Candy, #1) by Lauren Conrad has been my guilty pleasure the past couple of days. It has also led to a gorging on Laguna Beach to refresh my memory. Working my way up to re-watching The Hills. I am back from my vacation from the library and will be leaving with Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead Supernaturally (Paranormalcy, #2) by Kiersten White and Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead .

CαthεεBooks (catheehales) Reading: Spells (Wings, #2) by Aprilynne Pike (almost finished, only 90 pages) and Saving June by Hannah Harrington

message 8210: by Jess (new)

Jess (jess_readsromance) I've just started A Beautiful Dark by Jocelyn Davies

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Who is this Jessica person? :p

Holy crap Isa. You blazed through that book. I had to read it a little bit at a time.

Brit, it's a very popular U.S. series but I don't think it's shown world-wide. I think there's a UK channel which shows it.

Courtney, Yay for Bloodlines and Succubus Blues. :)

message 8212: by Jess (new)

Jess (jess_readsromance) Lol. I know I'm such a Goodreads loser. I really need to try and get on more.

message 8213: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) You do indeed.

@Stacia, I ate GoT up but after a day and a half (no breaks) I crashed... just woke up in fact. I want to start the second book NOW but I'm saving it for this weekend... and dear lord I NEED TO KNOW wha happens to ARYA and DANY adn JON!

I thought I'd like Sansa more in the book than I did in the series but nothings changed. My opinion of Catelyn has changed a little though. (view spoiler)

I think I had an easier time going through GoT because the series gave me the lay out.. It wasnt that difficult to 'imagine' things... It's usually world building that gives me problems with EF, but the series made things easier for me. The book just delved deeper into the different characters IMO.

@Brit, the series is awesome!

And I'm reading The Sweetest Thing by Christina Mandelski for something differnet and will start Succubus Revealed by Richelle Mead when I get it. :)

message 8215: by Mel (new)

Mel Reading Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead I'm hearing nothing but good things so I'm excited to really get into it:)

Lizzie | 30 comments Infinity (Chronicles of Nick, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Just started this today, I'm liking it so far.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Isa, I agree that it was easier to read the book after seeing the show. I don't know if I would have been able to get into it as easy if I hadn't watched the show first.

Sansa...nope. Don't like her either.

You'll know when I have my copy of Succubus Revealed. I might be a little excited.

Oh Courtney, Geogina Kincaid is AWESOME. I've been reading it back to back and CAN'T stop. =)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Yay! You're in for such a ride.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Carina wrote: "Satisfied Stacia?"

I took down the picture of the girl laying on the bed with a cigarette because I didn't think it was appropriate for this group, but I still have it up in our other group.

Succubus Revealed was such a good book. :)

Did you see my pic of Adrian in the books to movies topic? I want to know who this guy is...maybe someone else knows?

@Stacia, I saw that one! the guy reminds me of that actor from 500 Days of Summer (Levitt?) in a grungy kind of way.

And gosh.. I just finished SR! Twas so worth ten hours of reading straight!

@Brit... it's agood thing I read it when I did.. I I just heard it would only be there for a month :) I liked it for the same reasons I liked her Raised By Wolves (both were fast paced and not so romance-y)

@Carina and Courtney, I cannot wait to see what you think of the rest of the series!

I should read an GIL MARSH, but CLASH OF KINGS is tempting me...

message 8244: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) @Isa Yeah the egmont books are only 30 days. I liked it because of the minimum romance too (and the action) plus I liked the main character. i haven't read her other books I'll have to check them out (:

Heads up on Barnes' Raised by Wolves though.. it's got a similar set up to that in Nightshade (at least that's what i thought after I'd read both Raised and Nightshade.)

message 8246: by Carina (new)

Carina Succubus Shadows by Richelle Mead now. *grins*

I liked Nightshade just not Shay xD

message 8248: by Courtney (new)

Courtney K (cklueh) @Isa, Stacia and Carina. I forgot my book at work last night. I have Friday off and my boys are going out of town, so I should finish it then. I can see myself reading all day with this one. I love Mead's narrative. This is the first book other than the VA series I've read by her. I don't know why I waited so long, other than not wanting to be disappointed b/c VA is my favorite series.

message 8249: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Finished Saving June by Hannah Harrington which was awesome for realistic fiction.

Now probably going to read Crave by Melissa Darnell

message 8250: by Carina (new)

Carina Done Succubus Shadows by Richelle Mead
Now Succubus Revealed (Georgina Kincaid #6) by Richelle Mead
