Nah, I dont think we are bulling. But most of the time I do refrain from commenting at all if I dont like the book or series cause I dont want people to think its personal or ,like you said, like Im bulling.

I'll usually make the comment if it's something that isn't overdone. At this point, I've tried to shut up about Twilight. I liked the books at first, pretty much loathe them now, will still watch the movies just to see how they turn out, but then want it all to go away so YA PNR can move on to something else.
Oh, and Tucker Max...hmm. If you haven't read anything by him, he's a complete chauvinist jerk. Kind of hilarious (albeit in a very raunchy way) sometimes, but a total ass. I can't stand him.
Basically, any guy who worships Tucker Max is probably one you want to stay away from.
Quoted from a friend's review (and this is a review from a guy) :
"Warning: If you're even slightly squeamish about sexist language and the portrayal of some women as stupid and desperate, run away. Run away!"

*Gasp* Abuse against Women!? PIG. Any guy who reads it definitely SUCKS >///////////<
Well Stacia.... I started Shiver when it first came out, put it down, and never picked it back up... So I guess I am the fun sponge now. I have Beautiful Creatures as well as Before I Fall on my book shelf and have never picked them up lol. However, I LOVED If I Stay. I can't give a fair comparison since I haven't read Before I Fall but I can say that If I Stay moved me to tears a few times and gave me a lot to think about. If Before I Fall is as good or even better I will read it soon for sure. I am just getting to Mockingjay, I am a late bloomer and kept putting off the HG Series, why I have NO idea because OMG!!!But then Passion comes out Tuesday and I have so many other to-reads GRRRRRRRR!!!! I need to win the lottery and just read all the time. Too many books, too little time!!!
I know all about the too many reads and too little time. I keep wanting to get to
because I am BIG fan of the Hourglass Door series, but I have other buddy reads and reads for groups I mod to have to finish first. And I did originally give Shiver a 4 star rating, even with the complaints because I did like the book overall, but after I started reading better PNR's I went back and gave it a 3 because I realized that I didn't like it nearly as much as I did several other 4 star reads.
Well I can relate to going back to re think my rating on books as I gain more reading experience. I've done it to a few books.

Can't wait for Reckoning! (And I have't even read Defiance yet!)

is one powerful book. Very well written.btw, I didn't love Shiver either, wanted to though, but it didn't click with me. But I might pick up again sometime and give it another try. I like the covers.

I have Defiance on my shelf. Reckoning comes out I think November.
Stacia, cool "Cole > Sam" + no fighting for us! ; )Hunger Games... the funny thing about this series is that when I tell someone what it's about, they usually are turned off from reading it. BUT after reading it, I've yet to find someone who hasn't LOVED it (even if they weren't happy with some part of the outcome.)
The 'Twilight thing'- call me crazy but I think part of everyone going from loving it to hating it is this... MANY people had read the series, or at least the first installment but didn't talk about it
except for to the people they recommended it to or who recommended it to them. Just like (once) undercover bands that are adored until hey become mainstream, I think the same thing happened with Twilight. When it was small and private we loved it, once we knew EVERYONE else in the world was reading it and loving it too, it didn't mean so much. I hope the same thing doesn't happen with HG!
I would say that I'm reading nothing but that would be totally boring so here's what I'm going to say:I am supposed to be reading The Last Olympian but I don't feel up to it yet.
I'm planning to read Passion when it comes out, or at least the Sunday after it comes out when I can finally actually buy it. I don't really want to rush it but I have a responsibility in another group so there's no helping it.
So, what do I really want to read right now? It's none other than the Vampire Academy series! I'm planning to read it after Passion so I can read the Vampire Academy series straight with no disturbances. I'm just hoping that I can keep it together until then. :)) LOL.
I still have not continued rereading City of Ashes but I'm planning to after the Vampire Academy series.
Does my schedule seem perfect? Erm, no it's not. I still have to read Romeo and Juliet and Canal de la Reina for school which is two days away. Sigh...there's so many things to do with so little time. I'm planning on cheating my worksheets but I can't cheat myself. It's just not the way how I deal with things.
Well, I guess you can call that an update from me. And here are the book covers mentioned above:
Your like me Pamela. I am stuck between so many series that I don't know what to do with myself sometimes, lol.I am in the middle of Spirit Bound
wanting to start City of Ashes
and a couple of other books.
Artemis wrote: "no its cool i have a discussion dedicated to PC Cast's "Goddess Summoning" series and that is an adult series"I read this one of that series
a while back. It was good.
Okay, I think I am going to read this next because it is the biggest book in my pile of library books:
I took a break after
(good book, excellent book, but still left me feeling 'WTF!') reading
and
now...
Finished Take Me There
(REALLY good!) and now gonna read Her and Me and You
(I loved her book Nothing Like You, it was one of the first books I read last year)

(Re-reading before the 2nd part of the last movie comes out)I'll probably also start reading an adult book in between, just to keep the balance, lol.

Yup, I'll either finish the books I have or put them on hold to read Feed.
