Weird so far. I might drop it if it doesn't interest me soon.

I wanted to read it but after reading Fallen I'm not so sure now.
Britnee wrote: "I read the end and I'm dropping it. Its weird and stupid."I think I'll skip it then.

Hey Britnee, what did you think of Fallen Angel? Im only on chapter 4 at the moment.
Britnee -* Om Nom Nom..* wrote: "I just finished
and it was meh. Meh meh MEH."I want to request that on netgalley to read, but I still have 4 books now from netgalley to read since I finished Angel Burn last night.
Once a Witch was okay. Just okay. I liked it enough to read the second book, but forgot both of them as soon as I was done.I need to go back to bed and take an attitude adjustment pill I think. I feel like every book in every group I've commented on today has been, eh...it was alright.
I got told the other day that I like too many books, which surprised me. It seems like I'm really picky most of the time, not the other way around.
As long as its better than Die For Me then I'll read it. I need to cut down on my reading soon because a lot of mediocre books make me shitty.
Or stick to ones that you know will be sure winners. That's why I've laid off from doing too many gallies. It's too hard to know which ones will be good or bad, since there aren't a lot of reviews out on them yet.
Die for me has a lot of good reviews so far but Its just like Twilight, IMO. I'm going to do a lot of re-reads like TMI for COFA which is out in exactly 3 weeks yay
Hey, Stacia, I don't think it's a bad thing to like too many books. I love loads of books that I've read, and there's probably tons more that I'll love that I haven't read yet.You know what it says to me about you as a person...that you have diverse tastes and an open mind. You think outside the box. Those are great attributes, especially in an author.
That's the thing though. I think I'm fairly picky. I love a broad range of genres and both adult and YA fiction, but if I read a few good series back to back, I'm going to be very hard on the next thing I read.I was just explaining in another group how much I love Vampire Academy, but can't find myself loving House of Night because VA is just so much better written. It's not that I dislike HoN, but that I find VA far superior. Sometimes reading something fabulous will hamper your feelings for another similar type of read.

Good point, I have to say after reading Fever, I was a bit blind sided coz I love her writing so much.

You may like it! It has a lot of good reviews but it reminded me too much of Twilight. I hope i like it!
Alison wrote: "Good point, I have to say after reading Fever, I was a bit blind sided coz I love her writing so much."Totally agree. Nothing compares, IMO.
If I could storycraft like Moning, I would be a happy camper. Finding someone with the ability to plan and plot an arc like that is rare. I could never do it.
Britnee -* Om Nom Nom..* wrote: "It isn't very good."I will be the judge of that as long as I don't pay anything for a book either from netgalley or the library, I will still read it.
Also, Once a Witch in my opinion is really good. I might reread it before I read the galley of Always a Witch.
I think I'm just getting jaded. I put more time researching books before reading them nowadays instead of just blindly picking something up to read. I'd rather have the majority of the books I read be good if possible.I liked Once a Witch fine, so I wasn't trying to badmouth it (my mood today is all over the place, sorry...). It just wasn't one that I felt to be memorable, maybe because there wasn't much "new" or "different" about it. I hate forgetting what happens when I finish a book.
Stacia *so over IT* wrote: "I think I'm just getting jaded. I put more time researching books before reading them nowadays instead of just blindly picking something up to read. I'd rather have the majority of the books I re..."Yeah I do that too.
Well, I've read 5 pages and I'm not put off so thats a good sign.
I can't believe I'm still reading Knife of Never Letting Go. I'm past the halfway point and still struggling. Normally, I'd give up, but good lord there are so many of my friends who love these books that there must be something to it. I hear the first book isn't as good as the rest of them, so I'm really trying...it's just hard.
I usually would, but this one time I'm sticking to it because I feel it's unfair for me to tell people to stick with series that I believe in if I won't do the same thing in return for their recs.If everyone gave up on Fever because the first book isn't as good as the rest of them, they'd be missing out.
aaw... too bad! I loved it though, maybe its just not your cup of tea for now... and speaking of, I just got Wallflowers! I snuck a peak and yes, it's better than Hathaways.
Isamlq wrote: "aaw... too bad! I loved it though, maybe its just not your cup of tea for now... and speaking of, I just got Wallflowers! Nope, I haven't read that one.. The last Kleypas I read was with Leo and Ms. Marks (my absolute favorite!) I'm pacing myself because I might run out of Kleypas books... (I tend to pass on novellas and prequels... I'd rather get to the meat of a story... but if it's top 5, I'll have to give it a go. :))
It's a full book. And I haven't read it so I can't say if it's that good, but most Kleypas fans put it as one of their favorites.

Everyone has their own opinions. You really liked Delirium and I thought it was good, but I was not that amazed by it.
