Hi PJ,I re-posted for task 25.5. My original post was on message 1524 and the repost for it was 1750. I don't know if you are taking care of these.

Reposts will be counted when Readerboard updates resume on Sunday or Monday. Sandy and I are giving people through Saturday to check the Readerboard for discrepancies.

Scores in the Readerboard through post 851 were:

Score = 110 through post 851 (& 110 through Midway Point post 1628)

Sorry to miss that, Beth. I think the problem was that you listed the page numbers, but didn't say that you were claiming a Big Books ticket for it. I look for the "magic words," since many people indicate the page numbers of books even when they've already claimed a big book ticket for that page range.

pjreads, I don't know if it makes a difference, but for the Goodreads Author list, you have Dunstan Thompson down as the author next to my name - that was actually the title of the book I read. D.A. Powell is actually the Goodreads Author who edited the book. I just didn't want there to be a problem if anyone looked up Dunstan Thompson because it wouldn't say Goodreads Author next to his name. :)

For the ones who are missing GR Authors and Big Book Tickets, we only counted the ones that were designated as such AND that included a link to the author for GR Authors. If your count is off, this could be the reason. Also, it could be cause I just missed it LOL.

PJ, I just noticed that I have credit for 2 Big Books of 500+ pages. One post is in the "after 851" post, for Mary: Mrs. A. I went back and looked through and post 245 isn't even me. I went ahead and posted on the Completed Task thread and listed every book I've read during the challenge that was written by a GR author. It looks like there were actually 2 missing from when Cynthia was doing the list. Hope this helps! :)

I have one other Goodreads author in post 406 (page 9). I read The Help by Kathryn Stockett for part A of that task. Kathryn Stockett is a Goodreads author, but I didn't specifically say that in the post I just listed it at the bottom. Next time I'll be sure to state GR authors specifically in the post itself. Should I repost on the completed task thread? Thanks!

Readerboard has been updated and corrected for identified discrepancies through post 1628 Midway Point.
Sandy and I are giving people through Saturday to review the Readerboard for any additional descrepancies.
50 point Midway Task will be posted as soon as possible after Saturday. Polls for Fall Group Reads will be ready as soon as we know who's eligible to pick books.
Further Readerboard updates will resume Sunday or Monday.
ETA: Oh, sorry. I see the problem. I'll figure out what happened to your score and fix the Readerboard.
