♋ Carol☯ (poopsie) | 18 comments Just checked sanctuary & it's listed in reading order of the dream hunters
1. #10 The Dream-Hunter (Arik & Geary)
2. #12 Upon the Midnight Clear (Aidan & Leta)
3. #14 Dream Chaser (Xypher & Simone)
4. #17 Dream Warrior (Jericho & Delphine)
5. The Guardian

message 260: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Yea the least amount of details was that it was a dream-hunter story and that some changes are coming to them as I think someone is being rescued or something.

message 261: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (midna) | 11 comments Hi, my name is Sandra, i'm 33 years old, mother of 2 kids (14 and 10), living in Germany. Started with Dark Hunter last week - and I think I'll love it ^^
I'm addicted to: Supernatural, Lords of the Underworld, *cough* Misha Collins *cough*. Like music, reading and - of course - writing (started with my 2nd book). Think that could be enough :)

message 262: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments More than enough. As it takes just one book and you get swept away into bliss with Kenyon's characters. Welcome to the group. :)

message 263: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (midna) | 11 comments thank you :)

message 264: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Most welcome.

message 265: by PNR lover (new)

PNR lover | 18 comments How come Amazon gives you updates on books(not that is gives much just tells you the name and the date of book but no details) before the authors web page?? Does anyone get news up dates from SK??

And welcome to all new.

message 266: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Well I think that happens because of various marketing people working with the author. Like how they can easily give out when the book is expected to show up from the publishers so it is spread out for business. But on a personal tip the site that the author has is likely ran by people close to the author or the author themselves. Meaning that the site is for fans mostly and not just for the money side of it. If that makes sense. And not sure about SK updates. I don't regularly buy from Amazon.

Robin (mnmover) | 5 comments Hi everyone!
My name is Robin, I'm from northern Minnesota (near the Canadian border). I LOVE S.Kenyon, she is such an incredible writer & I love every one of her series so far! The D.Hunters series is my favorite & honestly I'd give anything to live in their world! LOL Acheron is by far my favorite book & character! Aahhhh what I wouldn't give to have him...yummm LOL
Anyway, I also love the B.A.D. series & ohh crap just love them all! :)
Just wanted to say hi to everyone & wish you all a HAPPY EASTER

NhaughtyV says Damn the Zon Save the Reviews (nhaughtyv) | 5 comments I'm right there w/ya Robin!! Ash is sooooo yummy!!!!

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Hey there Robin welcome to the group. I definitely agree that SK does an amazing job at writing such a creative world for the DH boys and girls to play in. I haven't read her other works but I'm taking fellow fans word that her other series is superb. She writes under Kinley MacGregor too if ever you feel like going the scottish approach. :) And Happy Easter to you as well. Oh and Ash is definitely a fave character of mine as well. Truly an original I think.

Hey thanks for the warm welcome! I've read SK's Scottish books, I was on a huge Highlander phase. LOL That's how I came across GB. I was reading Diana Gabaldon's Outlander Series & joined the Outlander group. It's the DH series of Hist.Romance! Does that even make sense? HAHA

message 271: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Most welcome. :) And in a book world way it definitely does for sure. :)

Hey thanks for the welcome!
If I could wish any character for any book alive, it would be Ash! ;) His story hit me in the heart more than any other. He so deserves the best in life. I hope we will get more of his life now that he is married & has a baby on the way! I'm so excited to hear what it is & if it will have Ash's abilities or more, less?? Anyway, as you can see he is someone I could rattle on & on about! LOL He could be a group discussion all on his own! Have a great day!

Courtney (SimisBFF) | 12 comments Hi there! My name is Courtney and I'm 19 finally :P I have only been reading the books for a year now and I started out reading them all out of order, then found out there is an order and have started to re-read them correctly. So far I'm at Dance with the Devil. I feel so bad for Z now :( no wonder he's always grumpy. I can't make up my mind which guy should pop out of the books so can I just have the whole world...like all of them? ;)

message 276: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Hey there Courtney. Welcome to the group. And If all the dudes could come out that would be totally amazing. So many tall, buff men all over the world. Drool worthy times all around.

message 277: by Grandma (new)

Grandma (musicalfrog) My name is Patti and I am just beginning to read these. I usually buy my books used or get them from the library so I hope I get them close to in order. I'm from the Chicago suburbs and would love to meet other people with the same reading tastes.

message 278: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Welcome to the group Patti. You'll find folks with similar tastes in books and thensome. And we also have a reading order list around here some place that you can take a look at to help ya out. And a host of other parties to help too.

I've just started reading BMR... I'm only on chapter 4, but I've been loking forward to this book since I read Vane's book.
I can't wait to find out how it turns out for Fang and Aimee

message 280: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Full of surprises in this book. Be ready with some tissues is my warning to ya.

message 281: by Grandma (new)

Grandma (musicalfrog) Thanks. It is good to find others who enjoy the same books I do. I haven't met anyone near me that reads them.

message 282: by Meg Elisabeth (new)

Meg Elisabeth Hi, my name is Megan and I'm new here! I love Sherrilyn Kenyon's novels, and I don't think I could ever pick a favorite from them. I started reading years ago with Fantasy Lover and haven't stopped yet. It's good to be here!

message 283: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Welcome Megan. So good to see so many minions coming together. :)

Thanks for the welcome and Hi to everyone else!!

message 285: by Courtney (new)

Courtney (SimisBFF) | 12 comments Dhfan4life wrote: "Welcome Megan. So good to see so many minions coming together. :)"

I had no idea there were so many of us. I can find NO ONE where I live that even knows of these books :(

message 286: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Ah that does suck for sure. I've been there as well. I mean I have suggested it a gahzillion times to friends. But they are like "I'm so done with vampire stories." But it's not just any vamp story and she does other series too. But ah well this is what we have the net for.

message 287: by Grandma (new)

Grandma (musicalfrog) I agree. It is frustrating knowing that there are so many fans and how unlucky I am that none of them live near me! ARGGGGG.
:) I guess I just have to be content with typing to my fellow fans.

message 288: by Courtney (new)

Courtney (SimisBFF) | 12 comments Agreed. I'm currently marking the places that I know I can save up to go to a comic con or something to find people. So far it looks like I'm headed to the States....now which one...there are so many :P Oh wait! New Orleans duh! :P

message 289: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Chicory coffee and beignets!!! That in and of itself is pretty darn good reason me thinks.

message 290: by Jayne (last edited Apr 21, 2011 05:18PM) (new)

Jayne | 38 comments Has anyone out there actually drank chicory?

message 291: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Unfortunately I haven't. I wouldn't mind trying it if they had it like a latte or something all sweet and with whipped cream. I can't do just black coffee and sugar style. Be too bitter for me.

message 292: by Jayne (new)

Jayne | 38 comments Don't know how it is with coffee, but I have drank it just plain. To me it is bitter, but maybe coffee mellows it out somehow. It would make coffee taste stronger I think. In some states it is use as a substitute for coffee.

message 293: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Oh so it is like a herb or a spice then? I actually thought it was a type of brand/flavor of coffee or the bean. Didn't know it could be used in other things.

message 294: by Jayne (new)

Jayne | 38 comments I believe it is actually a root that is ground up. And I have heard is is blended with coffee ground or just put in a coffee pot and brewed like coffee.

message 295: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Oh ok. Guess that clears that up in a big way for me then. Thanks Jayne.

message 296: by Jayne (new)

Jayne | 38 comments One of life little trivia. LOL

message 297: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Yea might win jeopardy if they ever ask anything about this, haha.

message 298: by Jayne (new)

Jayne | 38 comments So true!!!

message 299: by Courtney (new)

Courtney (SimisBFF) | 12 comments OH! I just thought it was fancy starbucks kind of drink cause I don't drink any coffee type stuff at all.

Though I'm arguing with a friend about the bread being soft or hard, and how to make it to show her I'm right :P
