Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) | 133 comments @Amy - I really loved The Dead Tossed Waves! I only liked The Forest of Hands and teeth, so I was a little nervous to start this one because it was a little longer and I wasn't sure if it was going to be good, but it turned out that I loved it more! I had a really hard time with Mary as a character. I couldn't quite understand her fascination with the ocean and basically giving up everything for it. I do recommend The Dead Tossed waves, especially if you liked The Forest of Hands and Teeth. :D Elias is HOT STUFF! You can check out my review of it here:

Oh okay thanks for the input. I had a hard time getting in The Forest of Hands of Teeth, but when it got to the part where the fenced got breached by the zombies and beyond that, it got really good so that is why I was a little hesitant with the Dead Tossed Waves will be the same way.

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) | 133 comments @ Amy, you will have to tell me how you like By the Time You Read This, I'll Be Dead. I have it on my TBR and it caught my attention for some reason.

message 57: by Angela (new)

Angela B | 425 comments Jen, it might have caught your attention because the cover is soo pretty!

I just finished Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1) by Becca Fitzpatrick which was a good read

I have no idea what I should read next!

message 58: by Jen (new)

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) | 133 comments First it was the cover, but then it was her suicide note that did it.

message 59: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Yeah when I read Jen's message just then, the first thing that got me interested was the title. :)

message 60: by Jen (new)

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) | 133 comments Z, you should read the suicide note. I think it's part of the synopsis.

Amy ~Lover of Books~ | 538 comments Jen wrote: "@ Amy, you will have to tell me how you like By the Time You Read This, I'll Be Dead. I have it on my TBR and it caught my attention for some reason."

It is hard to say at the moment. I am only on page 42 right now. Hope this is as good as Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher.

message 62: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Jen wrote: "Z, you should read the suicide note. I think it's part of the synopsis."

I read it, and that's a little creepy. I can't think of commiting suicide. But it sounds like a really good book. That synopsis was really intriguing; need to see if I can get my hands on it. :D

message 63: by Jen (new)

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) | 133 comments Amy, I've never read Thirteen Reasons Why, but I hear mostly good things about it. Let me know what you thought of this one when you finish.

message 64: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Same here :)

message 65: by Angela (new)

Angela B | 425 comments I really liked Thirteen Reasons Why but it was really sad and I'm guessing By The Time You Read This I'll Be Dead is going to be sad to and I am so not in the mood for sad right now

I like that cover as well Heather. Very creative. :)

message 71: by Heather (new)

Heather (nickyblue7) | 486 comments its one of the whole reasons i picked it from the library, and i am hoping it isnt as bad as the past two library books i read

Amy ~Lover of Books~ | 538 comments Heather wrote: "i am reading Fairy Tale by Cyn Balog it isnt that in intriging and i plan on reading Suck It Up by Brian Meehl. i love the cover"

I felt the same way. I thought the book was okay in the end. Not sure I want to read the author's upcoming book though.

Amy ~Lover of Books~ | 538 comments Heather wrote: "its one of the whole reasons i picked it from the library, and i am hoping it isnt as bad as the past two library books i read"

For me, it was all about the faeries. After reading Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston last year, I wanted to read nothing but faery books because I just loved that book so much that I read it in 2 days.

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

I finished The Host by Stephenie Meyer by Stephenie Meyer.

Started and loving, Infinity (Chronicles of Nick, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

message 81: by [deleted user] (new)

Your welcome. Let us know what you think of it. :)

I finished reading Infinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon. It was great but not as great as the adult books ;)

Also finished The Spiderwick Chronicles #1 & 2.

Starting The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride, #1) by James Patterson by James Patterson.

message 82: by Heather (new)

Heather (nickyblue7) | 486 comments what did u think of the spiderwick chronicles? i read them awhile back

message 83: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm reading them out loud to my books. Because it is a good thing to do (& because I get more pages in. Win win for both of us). Anyway, I think they are fun cute books I can see myself liking them when I was younger. I didn't flock to young books like this I was reading RL Stine and Dean Koontz. LOL! Way to be a kid. But I def recommend them for a supper light fun fantasy read. It is good to be a kid!

message 84: by Heather (new)

Heather (nickyblue7) | 486 comments lol yes it is very good :)

You mean you're reading them out loud to your boys! Not books! LOL! :))

message 87: by [deleted user] (new)

Ha Ha. Well, I could be reading to my book shelf! LOL! That is just too funny. Great typo!

message 88: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Tell me about it! If you're reading to your bookshelf now, I think it's good you don't have a BF or Husband. They would seriously thinky ou were nuts! :)

message 89: by [deleted user] (new)

Maybe that is why the cat ran away!?!

message 90: by Angela (new)

Angela B | 425 comments I laughed out loud with that typo :)

Thanks Z! :D I have way too much fun on here! BTW - My cat didn't run away, he died. Or is this an analogy for Men. *hehe, jk!*

message 94: by [deleted user] (new)

*Parasol would of saved you from falling. Did you leave in the RP?*

I don't have one of those either. I'm too independant right now that I would totally scare them off. Besides said man would seriously cut into my Dark Hunter time. ;)

message 95: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) LOL!

Jen: I'm sorry your cat died. I don't even like cats, but I feel sorry for yours. :(
