MacWolfo--sorry for the loss of your baby. I remember when I lost my himmy. She was MY cat, unlike the American Shorthair that we still have. She's my hubby's and makes NO bones about the fact that she thinks that she's much more inmportant to him than I am. :o) But the himmy was mine from the day I found her at the SPCA. Petigreed Himalayian lavender point queen. She was tiny too. She weighted 5.5 pounds her entire life--and I used to tell my husband that of that, 4 pounds was hair. She was 19 when I lost her. I didn't read or watch tv or do anything for about a week afterwards because I was so upset.
