I'm just not going to have a chance to read all of the Johanna Lindsey books so I can read Gentle Rogue for my "G". Any suggestions for a really good stand alone or one that doesn't need to be read in order?
I recommend these A Man to Call My Own, Marriage Most Scandalous,Until Forever.I hope you like these and I am also hoping you werent looking for one starting with G.
A Man to Call my own is one of my faves so very good.
I had a hard time with G too. The one I read A Gentle Rain was pretty good. I had never heard anything about that author before.
That looks good, Darcy. Does it fit the Dangerous Hero part of this challenge, with the hero being dangerous or a bad guy?

As I understand the challenge rules, not all of the heroes have to be dangerous. Good luck!
Thanks, Mollie. Unfortunately, I don't own any of those books except Gentle Rogue, and don't have time to .... oh wait... this challenge runs until October 31st, true? Then I do have time. ***whew***

It's ok! I didn't even clarify that it needed to be something I owned. I asked for more ideas hoping there would be something there... but truthfully, I've been wanting to read the Lindsey books so this will give me the incentive I need. Thanks again!
I always Love Love Love Johanna Lindsey's books, but I find I cannot read more than three in a row because the formula gets repetitive.
Dhestiny, The Gilded Web is what I read for my G. The main hero is not dangerous, but the heroine's brother is definitely dangerous. It's the first book in a trilogy, so you'd be fine to read it.

Lookin' good, thanks for the update.
~♡Katie♡~ wrote: "only 2/8 done dont think i will be completing this but i will try..."Katie, I don't take challenges too literally, I just use them as a format to prioritize my reading and clarify my thinking. I say ignore the deadline and enjoy your choices... I'm a big fan of Nalini Singh and Jeaniene Frost, and I liked Pleasure Unbound.
Keep it up, Lady K!

I noticed that aswell Katie : ( (about the swap)Why is the libraries in the UK don't seem to have the huge array that everyone else's does?!

Probably because they don't receive sufficient funding from the local councils.
Probably, the thing is my library has had this massive refurb, so now it all looks lovely and has these scanny machine things, and loads of computers, but they seemed to have failed on getting new books!
Suzanne, maybe all their allotted funding was put to the refurb, and next year they'll start buying more books.
I hope so, it is nice to have a new building and it looks lovely at night as it has these lights that change colours around the many windows. Plus the new coffee shop which is just sucking money right out of my pockets!
Are you able to request new books at your libraries? Here in the states we can call our libraries and if they don't have a certain book, we can ask them to purchase it and add it to their inventory.Of course, they can't always do it, but it might be worth a try.

That's why I've been putting it off for so long, Danielle. That and I hear the rest of the series is fabulous and each book is long...
