message 2751: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Ha! Not today, I don't have to do any of that on Sundays, it's my day off.

TPBM Has seen "Keeping up Appearances".

message 2752: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Indeed I have. Flower power, indeed!

TPBM has seen Rumpole of the Bailey.

message 2753: by [deleted user] (new)

No.

TPBM thinks that Zooey Deschanel is pretty in this video

message 2754: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, but not exclusively in this video. She is quite delightful in the movie Yes Man.

TPBM is rather saddened that the so-called Housewives reality shows seem to have a significant audience.

message 2755: by [deleted user] (new)

I like that movie.

Yes. I'm not a fan of reality shows.

TPBM wonders if reality shows are scripted.

message 2756: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. The usual cold cuts.

TPBM is enjoying a quiet late afternoon.

message 2757: by M (last edited Jun 25, 2013 05:38PM) (new)

M | 11617 comments Already in the process, and munching on big olives.

TPBM associates evening with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

message 2758: by Zack (new)

Zack Vodka tonight.

TPBM had a great day, even though all signs pointed negatively this morning.

message 2759: by Zack (new)

Zack Black or green M? Can't have drinks without something to munch on btwo, and martinis without olives are just barbaric.

message 2760: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No, the other away around. It looked as though it might rain, but then it cleared up.

TPBM once got a fortune-cookie message that described him perfectly.

message 2761: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 25, 2013 05:46PM) (new)

[I just started my day, so far, I haven't encountered anything 'negative' but yes, I will have a great day whatever happens lol]

Maybe, I forgot what the message was all about.

TPBM collects rubber bands..

message 2762: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I don't but find them everywhere that you would not expect them to be.

TPBM has never tasted caviar.

message 2763: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LoL! No. I am staying awake for extended periods of time as it is!

TPBM once got a fortune cookie that perfectly described his/her spouse.

message 2764: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't remember :)

TPBM likes listening to zen music/nature sounds

message 2765: by Guy (last edited Jun 25, 2013 09:48PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do! Although, one of my favourite 'Zen-like' CD's is of flute music by Paul Horn in his album China.

I couldn't find a song from that album, my favourite of his, but here he is in The Taj Mahal.

TPBM would love to visit India before s/he dies.

message 2766: by [deleted user] (new)

His music is nice. I searched for that album, and Moon dance appealed to me too :)

Yes, along with South Korea, Japan, Hungary and the list goes on..

TPBM still drinks his/her coffee even if it has turned cold.

message 2767: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. I don’t like coffee unless it’s at least warm--the opposite of the case with V8 juice, which I don’t like unless it’s cold. I just read Belly’s “TPBM wants to read a novel that will not let him/her sleep.” I’d love to read anything so well written it won’t let me sleep! I came pretty close the other day, with Jenna Le’s translation of Appolinaire’s “Un Soir.”

http://wearekin.org/author/jle/one_ev...

TPBM is going to go back to bed and get another hour of sleep before making coffee.

message 2768: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm going to bed to sleep for hours, but first, I have to convince the little girl that she's not a dinosaur.

TPBM is thinking of having a haircut.

message 2769: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I’ve seen a few, but they don’t do much for me. The truly horrifying films aren’t in that genre.

(Thanks, Belly!)

TPBM is getting ready to do chores but isn’t naturally good at prioritizing.

message 2770: by Guy (last edited Jun 26, 2013 06:38AM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments True, but a schedule is helping me: wake, coffee, ablutions, attire, commute, work. Priorities set. Now that I'm at work? Well, that's a different story.

(And that is indeed a very fine poem, M. Thank you for sharing.)

TPBM found a book yesterday that they had thought was lost.

message 2771: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) No, still looking for it :d

TPBM is allergic to milk?

message 2772: by Zack (new)

Zack Nope, I wouldn't mind a glass right about meow.

TPBM knows exactly how long to dunk their oreo cookies for perfect milk saturation.

message 2773: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes. Never. Eating Oreos has always struck me as akin to eating baked cardboard with school paste.

TPBM has now discovered the urge to bake home made double chocolate chip cookies.

message 2774: by [deleted user] (new)

I've satisfied that urge more than ten years ago and I never considered doing it again lol I'd rather cook than bake cookies and other sweets.

TPBM has a cork board full of post-its/photos/recipes, etc.

message 2775: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. To me, that’s what filing cabinets are for.

TPBM tends to get deeply interested in one or two things rather than mildly interested in a lot of things.

message 2776: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmm, I'm deeply interested in writing and mildly interested in arts/crafts.

TPBM makes an outline before writing a story.

message 2777: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. I have to write a story to find out what happens in it.

TPBM prefers character-driven stories to plot-driven stories.

message 2778: by [deleted user] (new)

For the second time, M, plot-driven :P

TPBM is easily distracted.

message 2779: by M (last edited Jun 27, 2013 06:12AM) (new)

M | 11617 comments Have I asked that one already? (Sorry, Leslie.)

A few paragraphs is my limit when it comes to reading. That narrows the choices considerably.

TPBM isn’t long on patience when it comes to reading.

message 2780: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 27, 2013 06:17AM) (new)

(No need to apologize, M. I should have let others answer it instead)

Sometimes, even if the book is good, I try to finish it within the day, but if not, hmmm....

TPBM reads a book (newspaper, anything) before going to bed.

message 2781: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes, usually a reference book of some sort.

TPBM likes to read dictionaries. (Have I asked that one?)

message 2782: by [deleted user] (new)

M, I'm sorry, I'll never do that again. You asked that almost a month ago, I think, I just remembered.

Reading from a computer monitor gives me headache.

I used to like reading dictionaries but since it's easier to use Google, well..

TPBM enjoys drinking milk tea or Irish breakfast tea.

message 2783: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments You have a good memory! It was #3396. (I need to be more careful about that.)

No. I’m a lowbrow. I drink coffee--and ordinary coffee, at that.

TPBM wouldn’t mind being a lowbrow if it didn’t entail shopping at Wal-Mart.

message 2784: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm not fond of shopping.

TPBM would rather do household chores than go shopping.

message 2785: by [deleted user] (new)

Let me see..if you're going to write the story in a 575 format, sure :p 8,000? Really? I hope I'm still alive by the time you finish writing it lol

TPBM has a compilation of short stories.

message 2786: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes. I’m trying to decide whether to publish it.

TPBM is going to read Belly’s absurdist novel, then write a Cliff’s Notes booklet to go with it, which M will read.

message 2787: by [deleted user] (new)

If I'm going to read Belly's absurdist novel, I'm not going to write a guide for you, M, that's unfair haha

No, I'm not intrigued, tomorrow maybe :)

TPBM is thinking of having a grilled baby back ribs for lunch.

message 2788: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. It’s going to be the usual cold cuts for me, with a side of sliced pickles.

TPBM has an adventurous culinary life!

message 2789: by Zack (new)

Zack Depend on how empty the pantry gets.

TPBM thinks its about time for a new pair of flip flops.

message 2790: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. The most casual I get is a pair of Topsiders (though it’s time for a new pair of those).

TPBM wonders why, after the open, innovative styles of the Modern Period, we’ve lapsed into a Dark Ages in architecture.

message 2791: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Most certainly not.

TPBM would like to join me for an Americano at a nice coffee shop.

message 2792: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Merely a fulfillment of prophecy: “And goats shall inherit the earth.”

TPBM could use a nap.

message 2793: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I imagine mankind will leave the earth uninhabitable by anything other than roaches and centipedes.

TPBM wonders how long it will be before the four horsemen of the apocalypse are heard approaching in the distance.

message 2794: by [deleted user] (new)

Sometimes I do. According to the bible, it will come like a thief of the night.

TPBM is looking forward to an exciting weekend.

message 2795: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Yes! Got family coming down.

TPBM is having nice weather?

message 2796: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Hot and beautiful. Oh, you were asking about the weather . . .

TPBM is having the usual for cocktail hour.

message 2797: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol! M!!

It's too early for cocktail hour.

TPBM can do multitasking.

message 2798: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, for a man, not too bad.

[[Leslie, a small English shibboleth here: more normal English usage for this phrase 'TPBM can multitask' or 'TPBM is good at multitasking' or 'TPBM is a good multitasker'. 'Do' is not used with 'multitasking.' English is such a hard language to learn, your facility with it amazes me.]]

TPBM finds the idea of roach eating goats in a dystopian future to be an oddly future friendly image.

message 2799: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 27, 2013 05:58PM) (new)

Thank you for pointing that out, Guy :) Yes, I agree, it is hard. I rarely speak English.

Hmm, no. I don't like roaches and I hope not to live long enough to witness them eating goats.

TPBM has thought of writing a dystopian story of goats.

message 2800: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments Not of goats, but I've got a dystopian in the works.

TPBM is watching Teen Titans Go!
