message 2851: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Alas no, I am too tired to make anything, however popcorn is sounding better and better. With plenty of butter, a dash of salt, some Parmesan......I have to go!!

TPBM has dog/s?

message 2852: by [deleted user] (new)

We don't have, maybe when the kids are older.

TPBM is planning for a vacation next month.

message 2853: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Yes! A great one.

TPBM has a family reunion to go to this month?

message 2854: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 30, 2013 06:03PM) (new)

None, yehey! lol

TPBM is hoping to finish reading Game of Thrones (5 books) before the year ends.

message 2855: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, I am toying with the idea of starting book one because the TV series has been so good. But I am afraid of the commitment. So many books, so little time.

TPBM has recently realized that s/he will die before having read all the books that s/he wants to read.

message 2856: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 30, 2013 10:32PM) (new)

No, I haven't.

TPBM had not, even once, thought of being a cop.

message 2857: by Guy (last edited Jun 30, 2013 11:17PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments True. This has always struck me as a hard and isolating job, seeing the worst of people with very limited ability to help beyond immediate needs.

TPBM thinks that reading trashy novels is important to do once in a while to keep one aware of good and bad writing.

message 2858: by Jocelyn (new)

Jocelyn (joc113) I end up reading too many trashy novels because there aren't enough beautiful ones in the world, but yes. True.

TPBM has 28 darned mosquito bites on their left leg and 24 on their right. {Why, cruel world?!}

message 2859: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments (That’s funny! “Why, cruel world?!”) No. I’m a living antique. I wear long pants.

TPBM likes the pre-dawn hours, when everything is quiet except for the hooting of an owl and the howling of coyotes.

message 2860: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, although I rarely hear an howl and never hear coyotes. Robins, gulls, and automatic lawn sprinklers are the noises of the dawn. And, of course, the slow build up of commuter traffic in the near distance.

TPBM finds that the day moves more effectively when s/he takes the time to relax for five or ten minutes before rushing to get the day's tasks started.

message 2861: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes, though I had a harrowing moment this morning, when I thought I had run out of spray starch.

TPBM has the same thing for breakfast every morning.

message 2862: by Jocelyn (new)

Jocelyn (joc113) On weekdays, yes. Toaster waffles and peach yogurt. And a granola bar as I race out the door.

TPBM had a mud bath today.

message 2863: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Jul 05, 2013 10:40PM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Nope. And I can't say that I have ever done that.

TPBM wishes that movies nowadays had more entertaining elements like plot, character development, and clever ways of handling all of it.

message 2864: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not really. I watch a lot of independent movies, and have discovered that cable tv has taken over that function with admirable success.

TPBM would be surprised at the quality of the writing to be found in non-network TV.

message 2865: by Zack (last edited Jul 02, 2013 07:05PM) (new)

Zack Probably, but I'm not making any promises.

TPBM has a large stash of illegal fireworks waiting to be ignited.

Kyra (Nikara) | 1221 comments Mm... no, but now I'm fantasizing about one. XD

TPBM is frustrated with themselves.

message 2871: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LOL! Yes, as a matter of fact. I'l like to be a little taller than I am, thinner than I am, smarter than I am, sweeter smelling than I am, and less indebted to the banks than I am! LOL! It would seem that less is not more. LOL!

TPBM is surprised to have discovered that they enjoy chatting on line.

message 2872: by Christa VG (last edited Jul 05, 2013 09:13PM) (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Yes. I used to think it would be highly frustrating, but here at least I am enjoying it very much.

TPBM knows the true meaning of the song "Puff the magic dragon"?

message 2873: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Jul 05, 2013 10:46PM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Yes, probably. Lol.

And I haven't tried Magnum ice cream bars myself. I thought only Rachel Bilson was allowed to eat them. :P !!!

TPBM knows that the song "Smoke on the Water" is not about what many people claim that it is!

message 2877: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, which is odd because I find myself wanting to but just not getting to it.

TPBM is excited to have given themselves a new creative project that isn't just writing.

message 2878: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes. I’m going to use hypnosis to cure myself of writing.

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) No

TPBM finds scrambled eggs with spinach is surprisingly good?

message 2880: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, because I'm not a fan of spinach on its own. With stuff it is yummy.

TPBM has made their own eggs benny from scratch.

message 2881: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Hmm. No I don't think I have.

I also think scrambled eggs with spinach is surprisingly good though. I had it at a diner a few years ago and I still think about it.

TPBM likes to go to a diner for breakfast.

message 2882: by Jocelyn (new)

Jocelyn (joc113) You know, I don't know if I ever have...

message 2883: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Yes. I am so sure I can! Watch. (Almost clicking heels) See? WAAAAAHH! (Crashes into boxes).

TPBM has or has seen someone with double-jointed thumbs!

message 2884: by Zack (new)

Zack Yes I have, and immediately wished I could be as flexible.

TPBM has been to waffle house at 3 am, and regrets nothing from the experience.

message 2885: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, the cook forgot to turn on the waffle iron, and I spilled waffle dough on my pajamas. Other than that, it was fine. I think I remember having enjoyed the coffee.

TPBM has sat in a one room cabin, miles from anyone else, with an ancient placer miner listening to the hiss of kerosene lamps and the buzz of mosquitos and the sounds of cribbage being played.

message 2886: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. I’m not much on sightseeing.

TPBM has laundry to do and errands to run.

TPBM likes to look at pretty things.

message 2888: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Yes

TPBM likes to make up names?

message 2889: by Jocelyn (new)

Jocelyn (joc113) I know several people who wish they were vampires.

TPBM watches entirely too much TV.

message 2890: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments That is somewhat true though I watch less television now than I used to. I only watch select shows and then off goes the boob-tube!

I had a fun day so far. It was hilarious being with church members and noticing how their kids were so funny without even realizing it (seriously, I could put the stuff they said on two "Humor" posts alone!).

TPBM had a good day.

message 2891: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes. It took so much effort to avoid my chores, I feel as though I got a lot done.

TPBM could use an afternoon nap.

message 2892: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I have been wondering how I could use it to make money. Suggestions, anyone?
